I paid $1725 to have my zero turn serviced! came back unlevel on the mowing deck and lasted for 2 mowings before it broke again now it is at their shop waiting to be repaired again, going on two weeks, and they want another $800 plus. terrible communication and terrible customer service I will never use this shop again and will never buy another John Deere. When we left our Gator on Monday April 21st) for a tune up, we were told it would take 3 to 4 days. We called them the following Monday (April 28th) and did not even look it over yet. We finally got an estimate on Wednesday (April 30th) listing things it needed. They tried to charge us $144 for a new battery. Even though it worked fine, they said it was 4 yrs old and we need a new one. We said no. FINALLY picked the Gator up Thursday (May 1st). The lady in the service department was so rude, I will NEVER go back there. She tried to charge for that battery they did not change out. I told her we kept the old battery, she said, "Well, I won't charge you for that then"....duh. After that, it was still $50 over the estimate. She said " Well, they did other things to it". What good is an estimate if they are not going to stick to it? I told her I will never be back and she said, "Sorry you feel that way". I'm sure that lady ALL BY HERSELF runs a lot of customers off. The Terrell TX service department picked up my XUV550 gator on 6-7-24 because of the throttle was loose and it was running rough. I called to check on it, on 7-9 and was told the estimate was 1450.00 for the carburetor to be replaced. The carburetor had just been replaced in 1-5-24 for 1722.42. I dont think they realized that it had just had this done in January and the gator had only been used 4 hours since the January service. But made no difference. I just bought a brand new Z915E Zero Turn Mower a couple of weeks ago. It now has 10.9 hrs on it. It has been sitting in the garage for the past week due to the rain. Last night the right rear tire blew out while stationary. I called the service department this morning and the young lady who answered the phone stated "sorry, we do not sell tires or have the equipment to change them". Tire pressure on the tires are supposed to be no more than 20psi Max. I checked the other tire and it has 32 Psi in it. They over inflated the tires and that is why it blew out and now they say it's my issue, not there's. read more

Today is a Red Letter Day! Today is the LAST day I will ever walk into a JD Service Department - specifically the one in Weatherford, Tx. I had gone in earlier and told them the switch was broken on my pneumatic seat and my 3-point lift arms were not working probably due to a short as neither controls were working them. This is on a 5115M that has 375 hours on it. Today I got hit with $972 worth of diagnostic charges before any work was to be done. $972 of diagnostic hours when I had told them what the issue was. They informed me that there was a short in my wiring (due to mice) and that I needed a new wiring harness - $215.00 plus labor. I asked them if the could just splice the wires and they said they couldn't warrant it and would still need 2 hours of labor. On my pneumatic seat they said a small limiter switch part was broken and they don't sell it alone - that I would need a new $2,500 seat. I paid the charges and picked up the tractor. I will either make the repairs myself or find an independent mechanic. They make good tractors but their service is ridiculous. Never again. read more

Very disappointed in the lack of regard for the customer experience. Service department entrance not clearly marked. Service manager (the only person that can create a ticket and take payment) over an hour late to work the day I dropped off my mower and the day I picked it up. No one able to take money so I was forced to wait an hour causing me to be late to work. The general manager also 45 min late coming in could not cash me out. Called in looking for parts for a John Deere L for my sons for FFA and Kayden in parts was very helpful and knowledgeable on what parts I would need and even gave me an exact website to order the parts. Also wasn't in a rush to just hang up was really engaged with the conversation. 10/10 read more

I had my tractor picked up by United Ag and Turf of Terrell for the spring service promotion. I requested a quote for repairing the leaking cylinders on my loader and for the hydraulics to be checked. The hydraulics sometimes moved slowly. I was quoted $393 to repair a leaking cylinder and $441 to repair the hydraulics. When my tractor was delivered back to my land I was told by Gary that the hydraulic oil was full of debris and would need to be drained and the screen to be cleaned several times in order for the hydraulics to work correctly. This was after I had paid the $441 to repair the hydraulics. When I got the tractor home from my land I drained and strained the fluid 1 time. I also cleaned the screen as it was dirty. I put the screen and hydraulic fluid back in and the hydraulics worked perfectly even though I was told by Gary I would have to do this several times this was even after I paid $441 for United Ag and Turf to make the repair. Now onto the cylinder that I paid $393 to have rebuilt. I am glad I only had them rebuild 1 cylinder as the 2ND one only had a small drip or I would be out $393 more to rebuild it. The rebuilt cylinder leaked from day 1 even after I paid $393 to have it rebuilt. I removed the cylinder from my tractor and took it back hoping the repair would be covered as it leaked from day 1. I was told by Gary that it was leaking due to the shaft being pitted so I would have to pay again to have it rebuilt and there would be no guarantee that it wouldn't leak again. Gaty said this is why it leaked after being rebuilt and paying $393. The cylinder was at United Ag and Turf for 3 weeks and Gary never even ordered the parts so I picked up the cylinder and rebuilt it myself. It does not leak and works like a charm. When I opened up the cylinder to rebuild it guess what it was never actually rebuilt as it had old seals in it. Mind you I paid $393 for United Ag and Turf to rebuild it. So I paid $834 for 2 services that were never performed. The spring service promotion ended up costing me $937.76. I should have known that a $65 spring service promotion of United Ag and Turf picking up, performing the spring service, and delivering the tractor back was too good to be true. All i can say is beware. I will never return to United Ag and Turf in Terrell again. If I need any work performed on my tractor I will be going elsewhere or doing the work myself. read more

I had issues with my z535 mower that I purchased from what used to be Ag Power and is now United Ag. I have not had any correspondence on my mower for 2 weeks, no emails, phone calls or anything. I called and left multiple voicemails and was never about to talk to anyone live. They then texted me a bill for 1200 bucks to fix it. The mower is 2 and a half old and has 85 hours on it. The transmission is shot on the right arm and when I talked to Chad Saylor about contacting John Deere to cover the cost, he told me he doesn't know anyone at John Deere. So you are a service manager for a mowing company that sells John Deere mowers and you have zero contacts at John Deere? No correspondence, no follow up, no f's given. You have lost me as a customer, now and in the future. read more

I purchased a John Deere Lawn Tractor from Lowes and they told me that the Terrell location will take care of any problems. I needed the first service done and they sent a young gentleman named Jose to take care of it. I would recommend not buying anything from this location. I bought a zero turn from them less than 40 hours on the machine and it quit running. Took it in almost 5 weeks ago and I called today to check on it and it has not even been looked at yet. What a joke. So I spend 5000 on a brand-new mower and I am currently having to pay somebody to mow my yard. These people need to get their act together. read more

I had some issues with my John Deer tractor including an oil leak which was odd since it was a brand new ride lawnmower. I looked all over and asked Home Depot for help since I did not want to touch it and void warranty. I was told to contact this AgPower since they had shipped it. I paid $85 so this vendor could pick it up since it was still under warranty. I had the run around for two weeks after it was picked up and after three calls they said it had not been touched and would have to wait five weeks. It became a hassle having to call and always getting the "we're behind and I have five customers in front of me so I will get back to you". I called on a Monday asking for information since all I had received was excuses. When they finally dropped it off the lawnmower was dirty, dusty and had bird droppings on it. I called and asked for an explanation of what had been done to the machine and was told they didn't have the information in front of them and had several customers waiting but was told I was lucky my lawn mower was returned quickly since I had called several times and called their corporate since nothing had been done. A few days later my checking account was deducted almost $300 and when I called was told they sharpened the blades and were charging me for labor. I never authorized anything but since they wanted me to stop calling they got it out quickly and just dropped it off at my doorstep. Avoid this vendor at all costs. read more
