While I understand they can't control the weather. The way they handled our flight group was just unprofessional. They kept delaying our flight while canceling the others. The other canceled flights were able to get rebooted on earlier flights out while we were left scrambling to get anything. We were not compt for the extremely long time we were stuck at the airport. Just found out they lied about having an early flight to Dallas the next day. Same flight we were to be on the day prior. Do better American Airlines

we flew out of corpus christi airport to go back to san Fransisco yesterday (5/24/26). it was a…read moredouble layover flight but our first flight was delayed by over an hour. we talked to this wonderful lady named ashley at bag drop off for southwest and she helped us get on the next flight and helped us rebook our last 2 layover flights as well. we were originally gonna get back home at 11pm and we would ve been sitting at corpus christi airport for 4 hours before our first flight but because of ashley, we ended up getting home at 8pm. we got to the airport at 12:30pm for our (delayed) 4pm flight and ended up getting on the airplane at 1pm. It's raining so we are waiting in the ship at the top of the walkway for the shuttle. My friend went to the bathroom while we were waiting. Well, the cab shows up in 3 minutes and I get a call. I tell them we still need a ride and that we'll come down as soon as my friend gets out of the bathroom. When he does, the shuttle is just leaving to go back down the walkway. I call the number back to say that we missed the shuttle this time, but will be on the next one. But, I only got a voicemail, not an actual person. It's still raining hard. So we wait for the next shuttle trip. We get on the shuttle and look down to make sure the cab is still waiting and it was. Well, when the shuttle gets to the bottom, the cab is gone. I called the dispatcher back and he said that the "driver had left for another fare. It will take 35 minutes to get another driver there." I asked why the driver couldn't have waited 30 seconds at least for the shuttle to get to the bottom. But, he didn't care and just said "Sorry, it's raining." Such poor customer service. I have now been waiting almost 35 minutes for a different taxi company to show up.
