Picked out my carpet. They came to measure & gave me costs which I thought was wrong square ft & high priced. I called & spoke to the owner & he checked & agreed square ft was way over what I needed & cost was wrong. The day they installed it I said where they had to piece it together was 2 different Carpet colors! They argued & said it was the natural light making it look different. I advised them it was not that. After dealing with them for 3 days I kept the carpet since I could hide the smaller piece with furniture. The owner decided to look at it & gave me a discount. I've never went through anything like this before. Will go to a big name company next time! read more

We had carpet put in by them a couple years ago. Immediately after they'd installed it, any time we walked barefoot on the steps our feet would get poked by what felt like sharp pointy metal poking up through the carpet. We've even gotten actual cuts on our feet from it a handful of times. I don't know if whatever it is was supposed to be hammered down, or there's another layer that was supposed to be under the carpet to cover it so it wouldn't poke through, or what. If your foot accidentally touches the front part of a step while walking up, it's even worse (doing that and getting a deep cut on my toe yesterday is what reminded me I'd been meaning to leave a review for a while). The carpet all around just feels like there isn't nearly enough padding put in under it. And the carpet itself feels pretty poor quality, although to be fair it was cheap. All of that aside, the people who came to install the carpet were nice and pretty quick. They were also able to get us scheduled for installation pretty soon when we called, which is why we picked them. We just wish we'd waited a little longer and gone with someone else. read more

Our new home construction used United Carpet as the carpet supplier and installer, a few years ago. A little over a year after we moved in, our carpet began to ripple all over the place, and continued to worsen. We recently had another professional take a look at our carpet, and we were told it was a total disaster. A "mini-stretcher" was not used, and most places were not "kicked in", but mostly, the carpet was simply cut to fit, then just tucked in, under the baseboard. By not kicking in the edges so that the nail strips on the edges could grab the carpet, it was a set-up for our rippling. I would give these clowns a zero if I could! We had United do our family room & dining room carpet and it turned out great. Also had them re-stretch some carpet in our basement that had gotten wet a few times. Purchased a carpet remnant for our daughters condo and it was a great deal! Will be contacting Bill soon for our next carpet job. read more

We won't buy carpet anywhere else, These guys are great. The service and attention to detail is second to none. As house flippers, you have to balance quality with cost to give the purchaser a great product at a great price. Bill has helped us with 8 houses in the last 5 years including my house that I live in. We will be getting carpet soon in the current house that we are flipping and it'll be the same carpet that we had installed in our personal house. I cannot say enough about the care and quality that Adam and Jason put into every install. They are like a well oiled machine. Thanks guys for all of the great help and support over the years. Called a couple of days ago to set up an appt to have Bill come out and give an estimate on recarpeting my parents home. Bill was supposed to be there at 6pm tonight (10/28). Never showed nor had the courtesy to call. My parents are in their 80's and United is only 15 min from where they live. My Mom asked, "how is he going to sell any carpet like that?" Purchased carpet a few years back. We had recently put in new kitchen flooring and were not in need of the transition strip. Upon installing the installer Rich stated if we ever were in need he had already placed the strip underneath to make it easier in the future. This past month we again redid our kitchen floor to tile and are now in need of having it finished off. After reaching out to united to get ahold of the installer we waited two weeks with hardly any communication other than an initial text from the installer asking for pictures and a week later a text at 7:00 A.M. stating the service isn't a free one. In the initial text Rich wrote that he would "swing by AFTER work and that it would not take more than 15m mins". After waiting for a reply asking how much it would cost I contacted united. Asked for the manager who stated he hadn't heard from Rich in a few days and to let him try and see what is going on with him. Rich miraculously contact us stating it was a $75 charge! I then contacted united again to which the "manager" gave no apologies for his employees lack of respect or timely manner. Not to mention after paying thousands of dollars they want to over charge for a 15 min or less service. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and WILL NEVER GET MY BUISNESS AGAIN! read more

we purchased carpet on 9/1/17 from bill. we told him that we just remodeled kitchen,living room,dinning room,including all new wood floors through whole house except bedrooms which we wanted new carpet when all flooring was completed and back together. the carpet was last thing to be done, sounds simple right? well not for them,after carpet was done we found a large gash in 7 day old $8,000. worth wood floors. bill actually asked me, "well did you tell them the floors were new" omg I about hit the ceiling!!!!!! he said he had a guy that would fix them I laughed at him eventually asking them to leave my home to never return.after back and forth with adams insurance company we finally setteled with them almost $9,000. for the repair.i could go on but I believe I have made my point! if you want careless workers with no respect for you home then call them and if you have higher standards then don't................. read more
