I started calling in November to follow up because I didn't hear back. They do not answer their phones. I've left a few messages, every 2 weeks, (not to bombard them) and still absolutely nothing. Such a waste of time when I could have gone to another office and could have had the surgery completed. Update: Manager contacted me and was super helpful and apologetic due to recent staffing changes. I now have an appointment for next month!

Dr. Uyesugi took the time to listen, answer my questions, and explain everything in a way that made sense. What impressed me most was not only his knowledge and experience, but also the fact that he genuinely cared about finding the right solution instead of rushing through appointments. I recently had a Eustachian tube dilation procedure, and I am very grateful for the care I received. Dr. Uyesugi made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. His professionalism and expertise are second to none. I also want to thank audiologist Melina Garay for all the effort she put into helping me. She was patient, thorough, and took my concerns seriously. It was clear that she wanted to make sure my hearing issues were properly evaluated and addressed. The entire staff was wonderful as well. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. From scheduling appointments to follow-up care, they made the whole experience much easier. When you are dealing with hearing and ear problems, it can be frustrating and stressful. Having a team that truly listens and works hard to help you makes all the difference. He insisted I was having migraines, though no systems of such. I'm familiar with migraines. I still went with his medication plan for migraines. Three visits and each time having to remind him of my issue and correct what he thought was the problem. The last visit he prescribed muscle relaxers and pain medicine. Still with the migraine meds- having me take 3 RXs at night. He seems to just like to push pills. I even just took some antibiotic I had for a few days and my problem finally went away. I do not recommend this doc, very dismissive.

The Temecula location has now just canceled an appointment three times and has pushed out much needed care repeatedly. They cancel right before an appointment you have waited over a month for. Schedule at the wrong location. Take over 6 months to schedule a surgery for a tumor that is growing, unbelievable! Surgeon in Poway was wonderful once it finally got scheduled but the unprofessional staff at Temecula and with surgery schedule is beyond unacceptable. At this point, I wouldn't recommend these guys to my worst enemy. It's just not worth the headache. If negative stars were an option they would get them.

I wanted a second opinion so I went to Dr. Schultzel and he said I didn't have to be cut open, arthroscopic surgery is his specialty and he could remove it no problem. Recovery was so much better and because he is hands on he didn't just pass me off after surgery. I will be with him for the next 5 years if scans and procedures if needed. Thank you Dr. Schultzel!!

Unfortunately, my post-surgery experience has been made extremely stressful due to the office staff and management. When my EDD paperwork was first submitted, the staff only gave me two weeks off work, even though the doctor clearly stated I needed six weeks due to lifting restrictions. After multiple calls, I finally spoke with Julie, who was rude, argumentative, and dismissive. She even said sarcastically, "Fine, I'll give you six weeks off," which is completely unprofessional. I later spoke with Emily, the office manager, who apologized, but Julie's poor attitude continued. Despite Emily's assurance that she would personally handle any future issues, she never returned my follow-up calls. Since then, communication has been inconsistent. Some emails were answered, but usually with short, unhelpful replies, and many others went unanswered altogether. Each visit I've made to the office has been met with cold or dismissive attitudes. Even when my doctor extended my recovery another two weeks, Emily questioned it inappropriately in front of other staff. I've had to show up in person multiple times just to get updates, only to be brushed off again. The doctor and PAs are wonderful, but the back office is disorganized, unprofessional, and lacking empathy. I've felt ignored and unsupported -- especially regarding time-sensitive EDD paperwork that directly impacts my income. It's unfortunate because Dr. Schultzel deserves better representation from his staff. Patients shouldn't have to fight this hard for basic communication and follow-up care. Edit: I split the difference and gave 3 stars. I have no issue with Dr Schultzel. It's sad I had to place a review to actually have someone try to call me or respond to the issues at hand.

This time, we were forced to find one around Temecula because of our insurance so we searched on Yelp and saw that Doctor Uhler had really HIGH RATINGS! CARE QUALITY: 10/10 ALL of the staff at the front desk were all pretty young and mature. They are more patient over the phone and in person than most other front desk staff we've been too. They are all nice and beautiful folks. Cameron was a sweet heart who checked our blood pressure... DOCTOR UHLER: 10/10 He came in and just sat down with me and my husband. He really took his time to TALK and get to know us. We didn't feel rushed like most other offices we've been to. I remember spending about 5-15 minutes speaking with other doctors. I mean I understand doctors are busy but, doctor uhler spared at least 45 minutes of his time for us. We both have back problems so we were speaking to the right person. He gave us some referrals for physical therapy, requests for lab work and colonoscopy for my husband... What a GREAT FIND! He was also professionally working with Olympic Champions!!
