When I finally called Kathy, she discovered that one of the companies I originally chose was trying to undersell my order, which likely led to my bid being ignored and the cancellation. Kathy found me a truck the same day I called. I-5 Transport picked up my car in Portland, OR, and delivered it to San Diego, CA, in just two days, which was great! The trucking company itself wasn't the best at communicating changes during transport, but that was out of Kathy's control. Antonio was my contact person, who was amazing and always available from the beginning to end. I was getting a car shipped from NC to CA, which required careful planning. But our body shop told us they have after hours drop off and that's what we wanted to do and the driver refused and left us stranded. I found Zee's towing on craigslist and have them a call as I was desperate and he gave me a very reasonable rate and showed up in less than 30 minutes. He took me to my body shop where we dropped off our car no problem. This is an awesome small towing company with great character and integrity. 10/10 would recommend. Plus he has a beautiful truck with plenty of space for passengers.

I called Portland Car Transport believing they were in Portland because I wanted a local company to do the pickup. It turns out that it was a call center which played into the unpleasant experience. The agents were rude. I had to call back several times over three days for them to finally send me a quote. By the time they got it to us we had to make other arrangements.
