I am so impressed with Diesel Auto Express! Everything went so smoothly - better than I imagined. This review will be long but if you are like I was, you may be so nervous about this process. I was so stressed! I'd never done this before and after all the YouTube videos I watched from this one guy, and after the research I did, I didn't know what to expect other than a stressful process with things going wrong - but I need not have worried! So maybe this review will help you if you are thinking of car transport. I went through a broker - Montway, who did great but Diesel Auto Express is the star here and they did all the real work. I will be reviewing Montway separately. I booked about 2 1/2 weeks before I needed the car to be shipped. I gave the 5 day window, which was April 28th. Montway indicated that my credit card would not be charged until the driver/company was assigned and that's exactly what happened. A few days before the 28th, Montway contacted me that Diesel Auto Express would be my driver/company. Soon after that, a driver from DAE contacted me and said he'd be picking up my car on the 28th! That driver had to cancel on the day of pick up on the 28th and I thought, 'well here we go - just like that Youtube guy said about car transport nightmares!" However, a few hours later, another driver contacted me and it was back on for the 28th! Since I live in the WNC mountains, I met my driver at a big parking lot about 10 minutes from me. The whole process was smooth and professional. My driver was neatly dressed, personable, and professional. He took a lot of photos and didn't waste any time at all. Once that was done, I signed on his phone, and my car was ready to be loaded. I did not stay for the loading as the driver indicated it would take a while (it was a huge truck). I was a little nervous leaving before it was loaded but I also felt that my car was in good hands. My driver had said he would be transferring the car to a local driver in Oregon with DAE. He gave me an ETA of 7 days to arrive on May 5. The local driver contacted me on 5/4 - a day early! - and after an initial phone call, we texted back and forth a few times. He gave me an ETA of arrival and sure enough, he was there right on time! WOW! Though I didn't meet him face to face, he was super nice but also professional on the phone/text. Once he arrived at my son's house, it took him just a few minutes to unload my car. Fast and efficient. I had 96 pounds of various things in the cargo area of my Subaru and I was completely surprised that not a thing was out of place - not one thing had shifted! Even something I had placed on top of some boxes was still right where I put it. DANG! That's impressive. No dings or scratches or dents as far as I know - my son and daughter -in - law looked it over for me and we Facetimed while he was unloading it. The driver also took photos. My car arrived just as I left it! I would definitely recommend Diesel Auto Express. They communicated very well - they were nice but professional - and most of all they took very good care of my car. read more

I went into shipping a vehicle the same way I would approach online dating: deeply suspicious and over-researched. This was probably the first--and last--time I'd ever ship a car. My son joined the military and landed his first PCS, and of course he wanted the truck he drove in high school. So I did ALL the things: ran estimates, read reviews, doom-scrolled Reddit, and learned very quickly that bait-and-switch pricing is basically an industry hobby. Enter: Lloyd- He assisted me Not the cheapest quote (which was actually reassuring), but fair, transparent, & Binding and shockingly patient while I called and texted him approximately 47 1/2 times with questions and mild panic. He never once made me feel annoying, which already earned points. I had a flexible timeframe, and Lloyd set me up with Diesel Auto Express. Mr. Dixon was our driver--pickup ran about two hours late, which I fully expected because, again... Reddit Research. He was friendly, communicative, and answered all my questions. The man was driving through icy conditions on the way to Texas, so I was praying for him the entire time. He even shared his location with my son, which was a huge comfort. Overall he delivered on the day he said he would deliver. Delivery was also a couple hours later than estimated thanks to traffic--but no surprises, no drama, and most importantly: the truck arrived safe and sound. Bottom line: this experience went way better than expected. Clear communication, honest pricing, and people who actually do what they say they'll do. In an industry that can feel like the Wild West, this was refreshingly smooth. Would 100% recommend. read more

Extremely unprofessional, damaged my car, and no response to my claim. I had a terrible experience with this company during my car delivery. I missed the initial drop-off, so I arranged to pick the car up myself directly from the driver at his preferred location. I was assured there would be no additional charge for doing this, yet the whole process ended up taking me nearly 3 hours. The driver, Artem, was extremely disrespectful throughout. He repeatedly demanded that I send him money and threatened to take my car if I didn't pay him. He verbally abused me, made vulgar gestures, and handled my vehicle recklessly, slamming the doors and braking hard. On top of that, the car had scratches that were not there before, which I strongly believe were caused during his handling. To make matters worse, the company has not responded to any of my claim requests regarding the damage. This level of unprofessionalism, intimidation, and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone against using this company for vehicle delivery. read more

A car I bought from Illinois was shipped to Washington state. The vehicle arrived with no problem no scratches no rock chips. The only reason I'm giving a 4 is because it was two days late, but mainly they told me two times a window of 9-1 and it didn't show up till 4pm. I took work off that day and didn't have to. My experience with Diesel Auto Express was the second time I've done this. The prices were average, but the service was excellent. my car was picked up at time promised and the driver, Eugene, explained everything completely. The car left Pennsylvania and was delivered to Southern California in a timely manner, with no issues. I was informed of when my car would be delivered twice. Shipped a car from Oregon to Upstate NY through Autozipper (Broker). Broker was fine, Diesel had horrible communication, delayed at least three times and constantly moving the estimated delivery by a couple days at a time and never communicating unless poked and annoyed by me. The driver was great so when things go well they go well which is probably why the reviews are so high. Otherwise when they go poorly hope you can live without the car for a month. Picked up 4/22, estimate delivery was 5/3-5/5. Delayed multiple times, eventually got it on 5/21. read more

Horrible service. Run now before you book. If this would allow 0 stars I would give them a negative number. We scheduled our car to be shipped across the country from Florida to New Mexico. This was the 3rd party service, day of service no one contacted us, we waited around for hours and had to leave the vehicle in the care of our apartment complex due to us moving that day. No calls no notifications to follow up and they continually did not answer the phone. Finally someone answered and said our carrier was "stuck in traffic" but would be there the following day. Fine, but frustrating. The next day comes, again no communication or calls and they would not answer the phone, straight to voicemail throughout the entire business day. Finally we get in touch and again they make an excuse and say our carrier is "on a plane". At this point we're concerned no one is coming. Again they have never reached out to keep us updated. Now we're 3 days late and they say the carrier will come the next day at 6am. Around 8am he tells us he's coming to pick up the car but we cancelled the trip. So unreliable I doubt our car would ever make it to the final destination. Still awaiting our refund which I'm sure will be another adventure, hopefully it comes. read more

If I could leave NO stars I would. I am a 23 yr retired veteran on a fixed income that put my trust in Diesel Auto Express to move my truck. NEVER TRUST OR USE THIS COMPANY. I had my new truck transported from TX to WA and when I received my truck it had damage to the entire front of my truck. It took me weeks to get a hold of the company to file a claim for damages. Then there insurance company AIG rejected my claim. The estimates were $10,000 worth of damage. The contract that the transport company and insurance company used basically lets them pick any reason to damage your vehicle and not pay for it. My next step is to get a lawyer. No Company should be allowed to do business and not be held responsible for damages. read more

Was called 30 minutes before pick up that the "price had gone up $250" and what did I want to do? Unacceptable, contracted for a price, should have been charged that price. If I can do a negative stars review I would, they had my vehicles since weds 6/17/26 and was supposed to be delivered on Saturday 6/20/26 had no response from anyone telling me they were not making it on Saturday. I have to call everyday to get ahold of someone and just spoke to someone and my cars are still at the yard in Washington. The only way I know because my son put an air tag in his car so we can track it. They informed me the think I might get my cars by next week if the truck gets fixed because it's in maintenance...I have been in arizona with no vehicles and now have to go rent 4 vehicles because they have all 4 of my cars. read more
