As their name suggests, lumber is what they sell, mainly, and they have a huge amount of it. But inside the little shop, they also have a nice selection of finishing products, wood flooring and wood trim. The staff there are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and we've never had to wait long for help. We've been shopping there for a couple years now, and everything we've purchased (eg baltic birch for kitchen cabinet shelves) has held up fine. We have several little house projects in the pipeline (shelves etc), so hopefully I'll be able to add some more detail to this review soon.

I called White Mountain Lumber to compare prices. I got Evie(super cute!) on the phone and when she gave me the price, I almost fainted! Buying it at White Mountain lumber paid for my gas on one trip from Manchester to Berlin, a trip I was frequently making at the time. Then it dawned on me. With Berlin quickly becoming a tourist destination with the 1000 mile Ride the Wilds" trail system exploding in popularity, people are traveling there from all over New England with trailers behind their trucks and SUV's. You are also only minutes from the Appalachian Trail, great fishing, jaw dropping scenery, kayaking, snowmobiling - the Berlin area has it all! So after three weeks waiting I called and asked what was going on. I was told the material would be delivered be in 5-14-2026 and delivered the next day 5-15-2026. Well the date came and went and still no materials delivered. No phone call, no delivery. This company will just take your money and leave you hanging then blame their distributors. Their problem is now yours, and you get to pay for it ! I will never trust this company again !
