Lavalley has been mostly terrible to deal with. Between major errors with framing, multiple times of miscalculating how much of a product was needed, to sending completely wrong items to the job site, to not even checking the delivery to make sure all the boxes have it on the truck, to ordering the complete wrong items to begin with. It's even a pain to go in and pay invoices. Don't use this company for any type of build unless you're and experienced builder who knows the product you want and how much you need. Do not rely or trust them at all to give good advice or help catch anything that might fall through the cracks. read more

I wrote a review last wk about the designer they sent out now that I got my price for my cabinets I asked the designer to change the brand of cabinet she came back with, the cabinets you chose are very expensive and you have a lot of cabinets so we can omit some cabinets.. So instead of saying ok I will send you an estimate on a cheaper cabinet she came back with that.. $ 29.000 for cabinets.. I have to say that royally pissed me off' read more

Worst service I have ever had in a store. First person I asked for help went on to help someone else instead of me. Second person got very nasty with me and started yelling at me. Left the store without purchasing anything. Won't be going back if I can help it. If I could give them less than one star, I would. Too bad, because I used to think they were an okay store. Sadly could not recommend. Went to the design center in west lebanon; picked out samples for a countertop and backsplash. Never received a quote after month when I followed up three times. My husband and I have used Lavalley's in the past for carpet. Our experience was terrific. This week we went in to purchase paint. Not one employee that we saw was wearing a mask. When we went to check out, we had a rude gum-chewing cashier who had NO customer service skills. Today we had to make a return, and again, no employees with masks and another rude cashier. Clearly, they must be doing well during COVID and do not feel the need to exhibit the slightest bit of courtesy or service. We will not be back. read more

LaValleys is a great local hardware store, the staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and pretty much anything you need can be ordered if they don't already have it in their store. The neighborhood feel is alive there and you won't get a better customer experience anywhere else! read more

I ordered Wayne Dalton garage doors from Lavalley's. I paid $400 per door surcharge to get a specific color of red (RAL 3000 on their color chart) to match the existing door which is right beside the garage doors. The doors which arrived were a flaming fire engine red and look horrible. They do not even come close to the color on the color chart. Lavalley's is unwilling to stand behind the product they sold me and insist that the color is the same. Everyone who sees the doors grimaces and when they are shown the color chart, they all agree that it is NOT the same color. Lavalley's does not know the meaning of customer service. read more

I will not enter this store again. I ordered drawer pulls, and was told they were returnable. Of course the clerk forgot to tell me there was a 30% restocking fee! It took them a half hour to refund my 70%, and sent me to six different stations before it was done. (antiquated computer system, or incompetent clerks, I'm not sure which) The clerk also wrote "PIA" on my slip, hmm... read more
