This is the second time in the last two weeks that they have lost my mail which one was a certified letter and the other one was registered express mail and overnighted. The staff was warm and welcoming. I mailed two packages and a letter and was in and out in less than five minutes. Rarely have I received service with a genuine smile near my house, so I felt compelled to write this review so everyone on Yelp can know that you'll be happy with the service at the USPS here in Whitmore Lake. Plus, they had the horse stamps I've been meaning to buy since they came out, and Ansel Adams stamps I didn't even know existed. Bonus!

It's small, but efficient and they provide all the necessary services that you need at a small local post office. There is limited parking on the side and front of the building, but it's pretty infrequent that there's a long line inside either. It's just a nice small local post office that gets the job done.

Free shipping boxes and mailers, great business rates, personal service, care in handling packages, etc. I have yet to have a lost or damaged package that was shipped via USPS, and I ship thousands. I cannot say the same about their competition when I occasionally use them for extremely heavy or large shipments. The New Hudson USPS is rather small, but their level of service exceeds all of the dozen or so other post offices I've visited from time to time. I would highly recommend them

I had a difficult decision ahead of me, as I was equidistant from the Ann Arbor location on Stadium and the suburban office in Saline. What the heck? Might as well take the chance to see how things are done a little further out from the urban center. You know, if you can even call Ann Arbor an urban center. Maybe I got lucky, but there was no line, one very friendly clerk, and an entire display of delightful stamps for my mailing pleasure. Seriously, I am regretting that I didn't snap a pic of the case, because it was filled with a slew of options. There was a little friendly chit chat between me and the clerk, who seemed genuinely interested in my conundrum of picking out stamps for my daughter's invitations. For the record, I think I did rather well. Then I was done. In the parking lot I realized I was also reasonably close by to what some people say is the best "party store" in the region. Sure, it's a little out of the way. But I got out of there quickly, the place was super clean, and the service was friendly. Plus I got to follow it up with a beer run. I think I may have found my new local post office! Fingers crossed that all future experiences are this great.
