US Postal Service, I have had a PO Box at 48390--Walled Lake, MI for almost a year and I have had…read morenothing but problems getting my mail delivered TO IT! How can that be when the box is INSIDE THE POST OFFICE?! I have to have them search while I wait in line, holding everyone else up and they eventually find whatever package it was and give it to me. This process generally takes 10-15 minutes. TODAY, I arrived to pick up a special order package that arrived at the post office at 9:53am and was signed for by Mitch at the dock. At 4:40, when I arrived to collect it, it was not in my box. as usual, I proceeded to the line where I spoke with one of the same people I always talk to who always knows nothing about any package anytime. She asked me for everything but my dogs name and proceeded to the back for the routine 15 minute "search". By now, it is after 5 and they are discussing with one another how they need to be out of there by 6. The young lady comes back to tell me that my package is in a pile that has not been sorted yet!!!! WHAT?!?!?!? She then matter of factly said, "you will have to come back tomorrow. It will be here then."....I was STUNNED! But this is how they always approach situations in this Post Office. I have made complaints before. But you people don't respond. So it is clear where the post office employees get it from. Clearly, the Postal service could not care less as long as it gets money. CLEARLY, customer service is NOT the objective of the USPS Customer Support! I can show you a screen shot of where I messaged you on FB Messenger and was told someone would be right with me. That was at 6:17pm yesterday and NO ONE has bothered even responding. BOTTOM LINE???? I WANT MY $83 DOLLARS BACK!!!!! If you cannot provide the service, you should not get the money! I also want to know where I can file a formal complaint against 48390 AND The USPS as a whole. I think it is sad (But OH SO American) to STILL be blaming COVID for inadequacies instead of hiring enough staff to cover efficiently and courteously serve your customers.

It's small, but efficient and they provide all the necessary services that you need at a small local post office. There is limited parking on the side and front of the building, but it's pretty infrequent that there's a long line inside either. It's just a nice small local post office that gets the job done.

Free shipping boxes and mailers, great business rates, personal service, care in handling packages, etc. I have yet to have a lost or damaged package that was shipped via USPS, and I ship thousands. I cannot say the same about their competition when I occasionally use them for extremely heavy or large shipments. The New Hudson USPS is rather small, but their level of service exceeds all of the dozen or so other post offices I've visited from time to time. I would highly recommend them

And the keys that are in the "for large packages " are still there - for 3 days. So I googled Novi Post Office and got a number to I think a center. All automated. Got nowhere with answering the questions. All I wanted was to be connected with the Novi post office. So I gave bullshit answers which got me nowhere. I tried again answering all questions with 'Connect me with Novi p o. Automated finally connected me with another center. And asked me to choose what kind of music I wanted to listen to while waiting. ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING ME? CONNECT ME WITH THE NOVI POST OFFICE. Finally a person whom I could not understand got on. Just connect me to Novi p.o. But no. Here come all the questions the first automated wanted. After 10 min, she finally gave me the number to the Novi Post Office, after the address and hours. So I called the number, listened to the address and hours, got put on a hold and after ringing for what seemed like an eternity, got disconnected! I'M NOT A HAPPY PERSON! HORRIBLE!!

Yelling at customers to scan their own packages for Amazon returns but the machine wasn't working so it continued to print out "see agent labels" and the owner (I presume) was annoyed that the customers needed service. It was actually kind of comical until I had to interact with him. I told the man packing my stuff (presume it was the owner because I can't imagine an employee yelling at customers the way he did) that these items were sentimental (my grandpas's cowboy hat) and asked to have the items bubble wrapped and paid like $50 for it! When the box arrived the glass items were in bubble wrapped but not appropriately wrapped so the glass was everywhere in the box. My glass items were broken and my grandpa's hat was not wrapped at all, and neither were my ceramics! The hat was smashed by a heavy cardboard box (with a drill in it) that they had just placed on top of the hat. These people are completely incompetent and ruined all of my irreplaceable stuff. Do not bring anything of value here.

The younger and woman on duty were easy to work with-especially when they saw I had a huge order. The place had a steady stream of customers and a couple of what looked like ebay/ Amazon related businesses. So that base made me feel like they were decent at shipping support. The guy looked pretty thorough about protecting items and the real value of this service is to be determined. If the keepsakes arrive undamaged, then it was pretty much worth it. I went to another place and called one too. Based on those interactions, this place felt like a good value in comparison to those experiences.
