It's small, but efficient and they provide all the necessary services that you need at a small local post office. There is limited parking on the side and front of the building, but it's pretty infrequent that there's a long line inside either. It's just a nice small local post office that gets the job done.

I cannot say the same about their competition when I occasionally use them for extremely heavy or large shipments. Yelling at customers to scan their own packages for Amazon returns but the machine wasn't working so it continued to print out "see agent labels" and the owner (I presume) was annoyed that the customers needed service. It was actually kind of comical until I had to interact with him. I told the man packing my stuff (presume it was the owner because I can't imagine an employee yelling at customers the way he did) that these items were sentimental (my grandpas's cowboy hat) and asked to have the items bubble wrapped and paid like $50 for it! When the box arrived the glass items were in bubble wrapped but not appropriately wrapped so the glass was everywhere in the box. My glass items were broken and my grandpa's hat was not wrapped at all, and neither were my ceramics! The hat was smashed by a heavy cardboard box (with a drill in it) that they had just placed on top of the hat. These people are completely incompetent and ruined all of my irreplaceable stuff. Do not bring anything of value here.

And the keys that are in the "for large packages " are still there - for 3 days. So I googled Novi Post Office and got a number to I think a center. All automated. Got nowhere with answering the questions. All I wanted was to be connected with the Novi post office. So I gave bullshit answers which got me nowhere. I tried again answering all questions with 'Connect me with Novi p o. Automated finally connected me with another center. And asked me to choose what kind of music I wanted to listen to while waiting. ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING ME? CONNECT ME WITH THE NOVI POST OFFICE. Finally a person whom I could not understand got on. Just connect me to Novi p.o. But no. Here come all the questions the first automated wanted. After 10 min, she finally gave me the number to the Novi Post Office, after the address and hours. So I called the number, listened to the address and hours, got put on a hold and after ringing for what seemed like an eternity, got disconnected! I'M NOT A HAPPY PERSON! HORRIBLE!!

I took the package inside and opened it to see what it was, and it was a shipment from 10 days earlier that was identified as lost and replaced 8 days ago. After handing the package back to the mail carrier, he became quite upset that I had opened the package to see what it was and then refused delivery. I know Medicare only covers drugs in this case for a 90-day supply, and I had already got it for this period. I felt very uncomfortable with the level of agitation by the carrier and then tried unsuccessfully 3 times to contact the USPS 12 mile office to voice my concerns on the incident, but they don't answer the office calls, and you are disconnected.

Honestly this is one of my favorite post offices in the state of Michigan. I'm always sending mail…read moreso I've been to tons all over the state. The staff here is always willing to do anything, most of the time employees at other locations will tell me to just put it in the prepaid bin and won't give me any other time of day. The employees at this location will always help you with whatever you need and take the time with each customer, Josh is always extremely helpful when I go in. The only downside is there is no self service machine as someone set the post office on fire a couple years ago.
