This post office uses any excuse not to deliver the mail. Today it was apparently too cold (just below freezing with no precipitation). Last week mail was not delivered two days, with no explanation (I asked the carrier but got no response). So much for "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." To say nothing of the discourteous personnel at the office. RUDEST attendant. The woman with colored dreadlocks / braids is AWFUL!!! I asked her if my mail would be most marked today. She said yes, I was nervous about the date due to tax date, so l very nicely asked her "just double checking it will be today" she started yelling at me saying "yes. I JUST answered that question for you! You don't need to ask it again." She proceeded to say "you don't need to project your anxiety on me!!" This was all completely unprovoked. She then had the audacity to say "bye sweetie, protect your peace" as if she wasn't the one who ruined it! There was a line of people behind me and they were also appalled by her behavior. Cutting off customers speaking and giving incorrect info (e.g. insisting a letter is a package even if it satisfies the criteria...$7 instead of 70cents) not giving media rate when a customer asked how much to mail books, etc. And much more. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The mailboxes are broken at my complex and I'm forced to go to the post office to get my mail. I haven't been able to get my mail for almost 3 weeks now because: 1. They close before I can get there after work, 2. When I do get to leave work early and make it there they don't ever have my mail "ready". One lady said the person was out for their birthday so they weren't able to gather people's mail together, 3. And lastly, they have been closing early for the past couple days for "door issues". The lady behind the front desk with braids and glasses is constantly scrolling on IG when you try to ask her something. She clearly doesn't like her job and has a terrible attitude. Poor delivery, non-delivery, claims of pkg recipients "refusing" pkgs - this must stop. They will actually admit they are scanning pkgs as delivered and not delivering until a day or two later (and many times we're finding they aren't delivering them at all, just returning them as "refused"). Forget trying to call or visit this location - you'll get an automated message stating that no one is available to help you and then you'll be disconnected. If you visit in person you might get one of the few helpful and pleasant workers (and thank you, kudos to them!) - but more likely you'll get the one who refuses to leave her stool at the counter to check for a wayward pkg. Her standard response is "it'll turn up, if not, just reorder it." Another worker insisted "it's your word against ours that we didn't deliver the pkg - I can't (won't) help you, visit USPS.com". She then wrote it in big letters on a scrap of paper and shoved it in my face. With the current reputation of the Atlanta USPS in the news you'd think they try harder. They just get worse. I called the main USPS 800 line for help - waited on hold over an hour only to be told they couldn't help because my MIA "refused" pkg hadn't been missing long enough! The only thing they would do is file a complaint with USPS mgt against this branch which will get me nothing and probably retaliation with even more lost, misdirected mail... read more

They have returned as undeliverable or lost more than 25% of packages delivered through this location. The office is randomly closed during scheduled open hours with no signage. I have seen the counter staff routinely be rude and often threatens to refuse service to many of the customers. The other reviews speak for myself, we've had two different credit cards stolen out the mail. With one being attempted to be used. Missing up to 15-30 different pieces of mail that weren't turned over to us, even though we signed up for the program which shows the letters being mailed to you that day through email. This place needs to be shut down and replaced with better staff or something. They are literally committing felonies and nothing is being done. There is one person at the front of this very slow office. You can often make friends with your post office staff. Not at this one. The woman at the front desk makes it very clear when she feels the need to let people know "she doesn't care, all she does is ship it". She says it's the main PO in Sandy Springs, yet my claim letter says take the letter and item to my PO for inspection. She and her supv know nothing of this letter nor what to do with it. They don't know why the claim dept sends it for them to inspect the item. Like it's not their job to care. Okay...She can't tell me where to go either, I'm at the main local office, she says. Yet, there's no help there nor any concern for my need. I fully expect my claim to be denied due to no one being willing to inspect and report on it for me. Read all the other reviews. No wonder the offices go out of business if they're like this one. I went to a Roswell office looking for help, and he was very helpful in trying to direct me to where I needed to go, unlike this office full of attitude. A lady ahead of me didn't have her box taped and the desk lady was as usual very rude and didn't care if it was taped. She acts and talks like people are annoying or even stupid. Went to go mail a package to the UK, walked in at 4:30pm. Waited a bit, one person was a head of me. A worker called me to the counter to help me, and looked at my customs form and immediately told the worker next to her that "she didn't know" how to do "these". She never addressed me, instead tried to look up the UK on her screen and was unable to complete the transaction, the worker next to her said that the package might not even go out because it was after 4:30 (pm). Frustrated...I took my form and package back, and told her I'd take my package somewhere else. It didn't help that she didnt know where the Country was, nor knew how to navigate the postal computer in front of her. If I could give zero stars, I would. This post office cannot be counted on to deliver packages and as one office member said, "We don't care." Packages are lost, stolen, damaged, and opened and taped back up. There is no way to secure your package. I received an orange signature slip for a package from overseas (I was home at the time and the carrier failed to knock) and I signed it and put it in the mailbox for the carrier. A. Why is there always only one person working with people walking in? Even by government standards the wait times at this location specifically are unbelievable. B. I needed to get mail keys for the place I bought. After not hearing from them for over a week I came back and after walking in to be second in line and yet still waiting over ten minutes, I was asked if 'he' called me. I assumed the answer was no because I had received no voicemail, but I lied and said 'I don't know'. She checks and finds my mail keys, coming back with them and telling me he did call. I asked if he left a voicemail and she said yes. I said that he did NOT and she told me I was wrong. I guess either she was lying, 'he' was lying, or Skynet is deleting voicemails off of my phone to cultivate distrust. These people are miserable. read more

This was the worst experience of my life. I had an Amazon package go there in which they were supposed to deliver to me and never did. They said my mailbox was full but that was untrue considering all mail goes to my apartment package center. When I went there in person to get my package there was only one person at the front and she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She handle each customer with absolutely no care and continuously gave them the wrong information. I waited on them to find my package for an hour and was later told it wasn't there. This is the closest usps to me so all of my packages go to this one and I can't change that. Today I went in because I received a parcel locker key and I ended up not being able to find this number. I had more packages to pick up at the desk so I went in to ask for those and then asked about the key. This is the lady I see every time, and every time I have a bad experience with her. She told me about the parcel lockers and when I explained that the number didn't match a box she told me then it was at my apartments. I explained that we don't have parcel lockers and she started raising her voice at me and insisting that it was at my apartment place. I even showed her the key so that she could see the post office symbol on it but she refused to help me on that matter, and I didn't want to get upset so I left with what she gave me. This isn't the first time she hasn't wanted to do more work then she has to, I've had times where i had many packages to pick up and when she only gave me 1 I had to ask her to go back for more and she'll insist there aren't more. This is the worst post office I've ever been to - the staff is often rude, the wait times are long and the packages are never delivered on time. After dealing with yet another harrowing experience with them two days ago, when I went to mail out a series of packages, I was met with lots of "I don't knows" to "What does insurance on a package cover," among other common sense questions a post office worker should know. Seriously, this happened: "Look, I'm not trying to be rude [I only said this after asking THREE times for a direct answer] but I would like my packages insured and I would like to know what the insurance I'm paying for covers. If you don't know can you ask your supervisor?" "He doesn't know anything. He's the one asking us questions." (You have to imagine the dead tone of voice and frustrated attitude) My packages were supposed to be delivered on Wednesday - I paid for two-day shipping on Monday - and they currently sit, still, about 500 miles away from their final destination. Last straw. Time to find another post office, especially since it seems I always end up being assisted by the rudest employee ever. I'm not even sure her face knows how to form a smile but her tone of voice knows how to tell you, clearly, she'd rather be anywhere else and doesn't care about what you need, no matter how professional and nice you try to be toward her. I don't know... This Post Office seems okay. I got here around 9am to pick up a package, and there were about 3 other people inside. Parking lot was spacious, but very few cars were there. There was just one person working there, but he was very friendly. He seemed to know 2/3 of the other people in line by name or face, and politely asked specific questions about their lives. Then again, it was 9 am and he was probably fresh into work and still in a decent mood, before the lunch rush. All in all, I was able to get in and out in under 10 minutes which is astonishing, but well appreciated. The room was huge, and had a long counter from the door to the entrance of the line that spanned around 15 feet, so I can only imagine how busy this place must be at lunch time and during the weekend. THE VERDICT At a 9am on a Friday morning, there were less than 5 people there. I would say that is a good time to get here if you don't want to wait. You can rest assured that there will be a line around lunch time every day, and every weekend. A single person was working there, but he was friendly and attentive to all of the patrons. read more

I had a great experience getting my passport renewed at this location. My attendant Derek welcomed me when I walked in the door. He was ready on time, and have very clear instructions on how to fill out the necessary paperwork. Derek clearly communicated the various costs associated with different shipping options and delivery time periods. He was friendly and courteous the entire time. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I went at 11am on a Thursday, so I'm not sure how this office functions during peak times. I would recommend this post office to someone else for passport renewals or otherwise. read more

After the 10th or so try someone finally answered, they left me on hold for over 45 minutes until I hung up having to attend to other matters. A complete waste of time. Horrible service. read more

The worst post office services I got ever! I wish there were a possibility of not even ranking 1 star to them in here. Poor knowledge and unprofessional behavior! This is what you will get from this post office. After having several other issues with one of the front desk staff earlier, today I had horrifying experience with the whole team including the supervisor! I had an international returned item that needed to get delivered by mail within the one-month time frame to the company overseas. After filling out the forms and paying off the delivery package, the package got returned to my mail-box! I took this package to the post office with the hope that they will guide me to find out the reason for return! Absolutely.... nothing like that happened, after waiting for a long time and keeping me aside to investigate the problem they ended up giving a number(customs) to figure out what is going on with the delivery of my package! And they said USPS does not take any responsibility! Alright, I did as per their instruction, the custom's representative told me that there is a section needed to be checked marked by the post office, at the time of delivery and that was their negligence! I went back in systems were shut down! Came back in 20 min, I asked for a supervisor to go through my case, after standing there for 30 min lady came out and because they did not trust me for the customs issue, I called custom in front of them so that they talk to each other to resolve the issue. Shockingly another supervisor came in, and instead of talking to me she starts talking to one of the other staffs who was irrelevant to my case, and then she starts speaking loud at me that she won't accept sending this package. Even she refused to talk to the custom's representative on the line. I explain everything to her, but she even didn't pay single attention how this time frame for return would result in losing $100 for my purchase! She responded to me based on whatever her staff told her earlier! She ended up saying as a one-time courtesy we will ship your item back without charge !! really ?? Is it a courtesy?? because of your team negligence I am losing $100 on return and also one another shipment cost? Is that for real? Another staff told me that why don't you go to another post office if you feel uncomfortable with the staff in here! She was right, and I assumed she wanted to help me but, this post office is so close to my place, can't the staff and NOW the supervisor be respectful and polite to customers?! read more
