The customer service was not up to par. The establishment could also use more employees therefore; when one employee is on a break, the entire observation isn't shut down. I have experienced this multiple times while trying to just get certain questions answered or by stamps. The employees do not have a standard in the regard of proper customer service. read more

I stopped by this branch twice same week and got two completely different stories - both from the same clerk. Mon 7/21 @ 6:45 PM: The clerk said, "We're open until 7 PM on weekdays; only Saturdays close early." Wed 7/23 @ 6:15 PM: Doors were unlocked, lights off, and that same clerk abruptly yelled at me--and at two other customers walking in--"We're closed!" and refused any service. Google still lists the lobby hours as 9 AM - 7 PM on weekdays (see attached screenshot). Closing 45 minutes early with no online notice, then shouting at customers who relied on the published schedule, is not acceptable--especially for time-sensitive mail. Update the hours online, and remind staff that basic courtesy goes a long way. read more

Not one but two of my debit cards never got delivered and when I opened a investigation of course nothing happened a month later same thing my card never came when I spoke to the supervisor she said she knew it was a problem with people not getting there mail so clearly they are ok with the thieves they have working there only my cards didn't make the mail and I had a check sent to me it was open when I received it..this place needs to be closed down do not send your mail if u can help it . Wish there was an option for zero stars. The one lone employee (male) when I was there yesterday was beyond rude and aggressive. I simply wanted to inform him that there was a male laying out in the middle of the driveway (passed-out, dead?) leading to the back of the building. His attitude was so beyond normal that I can't help but wonder if he has mental health issues. Dread having to go into another post office after this experience. They typically have one person was working here and the wait is an hour or so. Monopolies are wonderful things for business owners, but horrible for consumers. The worker behind the counter comes out with customers waiting and tired from standing for so long and starts lecturing people that the reason the line is so long is because people don't have their packages ready. This is an extremely disappointing post office. At one time, it was the best in the city. Now the exterior is decrepit and desperately in need of a couple of coats of paint. This place does NOT open at 9am...it opens whenever somebody decides to show up. I got here at 9:00 yesterday, waited until 9:10am and nobody came in that 10 minutes but I had to leave to go to work. I have never left reviews before but this place is the most unkind place I have walked into in a while. I don't understand how I can be respectful to someone and ask simple questions and have someone tell me to "pay attention" and "if you sell on depop you should know what you're doing.". I'm brand new to selling and shipping things, it hurts when people are not open to being kind and understanding. I have come into this USPS a few times in the last few months and EVERY SINGLE TIME I have been met with rude, unsettling and discouraging experiences with insane waiting times. Especially from the man that works there, he's just plain rude, angry and aggressive. Every time I come into this establishment and I ask this man any question, he makes it a point to try to embarrass me for asking questions. I would rather ask questions and not have issues, than not ask the questions and my package doesn't get shipped?? I will not be returning to this location, I have never felt so stupid, hated and uncared for in an establishment in my entire life. It seems every time someone sends me a package it always lands in Atlanta only 30 miles away, then bounces around there for days or a week or more before they finally deliver it to me. The tracking data is changed each night to the next day, then the next day it is changed again. Yet it shows the package is still in Atlanta. As if they can't make the final delivery until someone happens to be going in my direction. The Atlanta facility is run like a one-horse town. Walked in to drop off some packages - drop off was full so I went over to the office to leave them there . As I walk in, there is one man at the counter being helped so I get into line behind him ( I'm standing probably 6-8 feet back from the man at the counter) and a worker that is on the other side of the room starts telling me to "get off his back while people have their money out" . I - confused about the situation - ask the workers what they are taking about? I'm quite literally not even close to the guy. The workers tells me " I'm not going to argue with you" and that I just need to "back up" and that there are "systems in play that we need to follow" . I'm not sure if he assumed I was homeless or up to Ill intent because I was in my work clothes? I've been to this location over 50+ times to drop off packages and never once have I been told I'm standing to close to someone , Especially when my hands are FULL OF PACKAGES! Robert is literally the rudest employee I have ever come across. And somehow he seems to be the only person ever there. I walked in the other day to mail a package and apparently they close at 1:30 which I didn't know. He finished up a lady and I had one more address to write. He screams at me to hurry up and that he's on a schedule and I need to hurry up. He flustered me with the disrespect to the point that I left and decided I would go somewhere else. Well today I unfortunately found myself back at the same location bc of circumstances and thankfully there was another young guy there in addition to Robert. As I'm working to get my packages sent Robert is simultaneously making rude comments as usually AND berating a second generation American woman for 'not being ready' when she got to the counter even though NO ONE was behind her in line. The customer entrance was blocked off at 4:55 p.m. even though they close at 5. I understand no one should come at 5, but closing at 5 still means service till five, unless USPS has a cut off time, they should claim and announce it. It seems a bit unfair. Most USPS stores are pretty dirty since it's a very common used business. I noticed the close relationships of some common clients with the clerks, which is nice to see. If you are ever in need of a post office that has a 8:00 PM pick up time, this is it! I was once in a jam of mailing a bunch of parking tickets (darn the city of Atlanta and their need to ticket you 3 times in one day!) that needed to get post marked by 7 calender days, not business days. Luckily after calling the number on the blue bin in front of me that had a pick up time of 5:00 PM I found out that there was a post office 2 miles away that had a later pick up time. Unfortunately, this is in Buckhead, and with traffic it took me a hour to go two miles (I could have run there and back in a shorter time). But I did make it and was able to mail my checks to City Hall, 6 miles away. read more

They have passport renewals here, but be sure to make an appointment because they don't accept walk-in's. I made it two weeks ahead of time, as that was their next available appointment, so keep the timing in mind. Stand in line with the rest of those sending their letters, shipping off packages or buying stamps, as they will direct you to the proper counter to renew your passport. Be sure to bring the necessary information, such as your birth certificate, old passport, a copy of your drivers license, and your checkbook. If you don't have your photo, they can take it for you, as well. There is also an application form you must fill out online, so bring that with you. They will take your original copy of your birth certificate, but will send it back with your new passport. The first wait I had to get to the counter was 10 minutes, which made me 10 minutes late for my 1:30 appointment. Once I got to the counter, the man who wasn't in charge of the passport process informed me I needed to fill out the form first (which I had neglected to fill out) and provided me with a copy to complete. There is a private room in the back where they let you sit and fill out the form. Once I completed the form I stood in the line (again) and got back to Mr. Gibson, the man in charge of doing the passport renewals, at 2pm, although my appointment was for 1:30. He was very helpful and patient as I had to complete the form again at the counter for the errors I had in my form. I would avoid coming here during the peak hours like lunch time, as lines would have been ridiculous if I had made my appointment a little earlier. However everyone working here is very friendly and I appreciate their kindness to us after our standing in long lines. read more

There's not much that's sexy about a Post Office - or reviewing it- but this is good spot. Nice staff who does things like help people waiting in lines (which can get long) with what they need to expedite things once you get to the counter. My family has had a POB here for several years and between my parents and me, it can get full quickly. The staff is good about holding overflow til we can get by (my parents live at the beach mostly, so they aren't always here to get the mail and I'm not consistent about swinging by!). Mail-wise, they always have a stock of supplies from stamps to packaging for whatever your choice of mailing options. Like David K, I *heart* the self-serve kiosk, too: weigh, stamp, ready to go! Eli has helped me several times and he is super helpful and friendly, always asking how I'm doing and actually cares, not just asking to ask! Not very helpful. Always ask to put my overnight deliveries at the counter instead of the box because I know that ensures it will be sent but every time I request to leave it I get a snarky remark about putting it in the box.
