missing mail. this place took possession of my item. they scanned it proving they got it. then it never moved again since 2 weeks ago. I cannot replaced what in that box. they will not answer phone either . Rude people! I go in to make a return on an online order. I'm the only person waiting in line and I go to give my package to the Asian lady when it's my turn to go up. I try to give her my package only for her to look at me like I'm crazy. She told me I needed to put my package on the scale. The scale that was closer to HER than it was to me, btw. She then proceeded to tell me to quite literally "move" and show her my QR code which I already had pulled up and ready to go. I have been using this post office for 30 years. I've never had any issues with the service, and the employees have always been friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I can only give it 3 stars though because I've watched this post office decline over the years, and quite frankly, it's embarrassing to have my local post office look the way it does. I have taken a few photos of the outside of the building showing the building needing repairs, as well as the dead and overgrown landscaping. This post office was once very nice, and pride was taken in the upkeep of the building and grounds, inside and out. I'm not sure who to send a formal complaint to, but I am really hoping something can be done. read more

Stacia answered the phone on the 2nd ring. I've called many post offices before and most never answer so this was a pleasant surprise. She was really helpful and quick to get my information and work toward resolving my missing mail issues. Very happy to see at least somebody at the USPS still cares about customer service. Zero stars is what this location deserves. First time I mailed a prepaid return using original packaging. When I open packages I open the side evenly so I can reuse in case of a return. The woman that helped me yesterday gave me a whole new bag to put my return into. Which is fine. But the fact she didn't tape down the label correctly or flat so I'm unsure if my package will actually be returned. Came back today to give the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the lady had a bad day. Today the woman returning another package I received would not speak up. I couldn't hear her. She shoved glue at me and kept mumbling. She wanted me to glue the back of the return label? Okay then she made me buy tape to tape closed the package when it only needed 3 pieces to close the package. Why the hell did I have to buy a whole roll? Why did I have to tape closed the package? The other woman couldn't attach a label but she gave me a new package for an even smaller hole and taped the label, albeit badly, to the package. But today I had to glue my label, tape it closed myself, buy tape, attach my label, and tape down the label while the woman just sat there. Worst USPS I have been too in 3 states. I'm just gobsmacked. Guess I was lucky before to never experience a bad USPS store. read more

This is the worst post office I have ever used! Our neighborhood carrier looses package delivery and registered letter notices after you sign them, and then sends the stuff back to the sender, claiming that you never signed the package delivery notice on time. This carrier also fails to put the entire USPS tracking number on the notice so when the signed delivery notice is finally found weeks or months later the USPS cannot trace the package or tell you who the package or letter was from. When I spoke to the manager of the carriers, Carolina, she was no help. telling me instead to call the main 800 number ( a 40 minute hold time) to complain and that nothing could be done to find my package. I asked to speak to the manager of the entire Andrew Jackson post office to insure my complaint was heard by the appropriate person and was told that she would not give me the name of the branch manager, and was hung upon. I have never been so poorly and irresponsibly treated by a post office employees before. read more

This post office is by far the worst post office I've ever been to! The employees are extremely unmotivated and unprofessional. There are plenty of post offices in the area that are more friendly and personable. This location needs to boost employee morals. This is the worst PO EVER. They "lose" packages more times than they deliver them. There is ALWAYS an issue with them delivering my packages - I actually believe that they are stealing these packages and not "losing" them. I wonder who their Post Master is??? He/she needs to be fired, along with all the mail carriers, and start hiring from scratch. The manager, Stacy, is extremely rude, unprofessional, always has an attitude & very confrontational. How do they not have any money to cash a money order when they sell money orders?!!! So stupid! The person in front of me came in and pay $20 cash for a $6 postage and the lady say she can't break a $20, that is so sad. I was next in line with 2 money order to cash, of course they can't cash it. Like stock up the cash drawer to cash people out dang it!! read more

I came in to ship a package to Canada and was pleasantly surprised at the service here. Sure, it's not 5 star service, but Angela was helpful and patient with me through the customs process. Come at an off-peak time (I came at 3pm) and you'll be fine. read more

Self-Service Kiosk is all I need here, thankfully. I would suggest using it, if you have only a couple of packages. I never had to wait for more than 5 minute if there ever is a line, its a lot better than waiting to speak with the clerks who you already know doesn't give a **** about whats in your package and how it needs reach blah blah for your nephews birthday. The kiosk gives you more attention and time! So far it has served me well! Quick and easy, that's how I like it :) read more

Be prepared to stand in line! Every post office I've ever been to has been pokey. They do give as much time as you need, however - which is nice if you're confused about your options. A lot of folks in this location speak Korean and Spanish, which is needed in this area. Be sure to bring a pen with you - the only pens they have are chained down - so if you want to write anything down on an envelope or fill out a form while you wait in line - you better have your own ink. There is a nice counter while you're waiting in line so you can continue to address packages, etc. while waiting. read more

I dropped off one piece of mail personally at the post office and even walked inside to put in mail slot. Wanted to be sure it went out in the 2p mail for that day. That was on June 27 at 10a. I checked with the company I was sending it to and they still have not received and it is July 9. It has been 8 business days. I live in Ohio and it was going to Michigan, one state away. I can send items to Arizona and it gets there in 2 business days. And of course since it was regular mail, not certified, etc., there is no way to track it. This isn't the first time I either haven't received or had items I sent delivered on time. So now I have added expense as I have to pay for stop payment on my check and then pay to overnight the new check! So in my opinion the United States Postal Service has really gone downhill and lost all creditability from me. read more

This post office is ridicules; I ordered a package from ups, fedex and usps; FedEx, UPS had no issue finding my location and deliver my package. But when it came to USPS they stated my address does not exist and it was a vacant area. Then re-send my package to the sender? I live in an apartment complex and normally if I am unable to reach the mailing company someone would deliver my item to the front office. The sad part about it is I had someone at the location for the whole day and no one attempted to knock. I filed a claim with usps and attempted to call the office @ the Carrollton location but was stuck on this unlimited hold time. This place is ridicules I will never consider ordering a package through USPS because it is service I cannot rely on. read more

Terrible service and the ladies are super rude!!! One lady insulted my daughter and their stamp kiosk is always out of service.

If I could I would give this post office 0 stars. I didn't have to wait in line (I went in the middle of the day), but that was the only positive part of my experience. I had a box with cartoons taped all over it to send to my nephew for his 3rd birthday. First- the woman behind the counter said the box was too large for her small arms. I'm 5'2'" 100lbs- the box is 13"x16" and weighs 7.3 lbs- need I say more? Then she told me they, "don't allow colored tape." After she procedeed to have me cover the box in priority mail tape. Which I was a little bummed about but I wanted him to get his present on time- so I covered every piece of colored tape. When I was done covering the box in priority mail tape - she measured the box and said it was over the limit by 1/2" and if I wanted to send it it would cost $50. I told her nevermind to which she replied, "there is a cheaper option where you could send it for $13, but you'll have to remove that tape." I looked at her and said forget it it. I guess I'll be using UPS or FedEx from now on. read more
