This post office is close to an area that I am in pretty frequently. Although I'd seen it for years, I had never stopped in. I did need stamps however and for some reason I always like to buy them directly from the counter. I know post offices have machines I know that also you can get stamps at grocery stores and the big box warehouse stores but I always prefer the selection that you get by going directly to the post office. On this trip to the post office I was greeted very cordially by the counter people. When I told them that I would like to see the selection of stamps they promptly put several different sheets in front of me and also even went to the back to get some more of that they did not have up front. The gentleman was very patient while I decided how many sheets of which stamps that I wanted. Once I had made my selection he politely asked me if there was anything else that I needed and when I said no he thanked me for coming in. So many people are so critical are postal workers and post offices and I really think overall they do a great job considering the volume of business that they have. read more

TOTAL DISGRACE! Complete IDIOTS! They faked a signature on a REGISTERED package and stuffed it in a "parcel locker". Recipient does NOT have a parcel locker nor a PO Box there! No way shape or form is this acceptable on any level! Registered mail is to go to the address and get a signature! Couple this with their refusal to respond to ANY form of communication! It's absolutely just this location. Every other post office I've been to has had wonderful people. The maybe 20 year old working there was rude and repeated herself so many times, even though she was wrong. Common sense isn't so common. Horrible, horrible! This is the worst Post Office in the USA, no joke! I had a package from JTV with 4 pieces of jewelry in it and my USPS Informed Delivery said "DELIVERED 11 DEC.", total lie!!! The mail carrier turned around and brought my package back to the 75234 USPS office in Farmer's Branch, Texas and they returned it to the "Sender" which is JTV. Two of the items in the package are now "sold out" and cannot be repurchased and all four items were Christmas gifts that I cannot afford to re-buy! No one at this post office cares, they won't go to the extra step of finding this package and returning it to me even though it is THEIR fault. I was told that they "Cannot call the location (in transit) where my package is now located!!! Instead of picking up the phone and calling to resolve the issue that is THEIR fault, they are making my Christmas now a disaster! I lost a package four days ago and every time I come up here I'm being asked to write my information down on a sheet of paper so someone will call me and they never do. No one answers the phone. No one cares and they just sit at a desk and stare at a blink screen, it's awful. read more

The Asian lady there is the WORST. I walked up to the counter and she had both AirPods in watching videos on her phone. After I was able to finally get her attention, she acted as if I was inconveniencing her. She told me I needed to purchase tape even though the box I purchased came with tape. She argued with me, wouldn't provide her name and I up leaving because I didn't have time to deal with her nonsense. When I went back later in the day she was still there. She even laughed at me when I said I was back to try and mail my package again. She needs to be let go. Everyone please avoid this post office at all costs. read more

I have had a PO Box here for nearly 2 years. I also use the USPS informed delivery service so I know what mail I am expecting each day. Firstly, there are signs posted everywhere that PO Box mail will be sorted and made available my 10:30 each morning. FALSE. I can't count the number of times I have arrived after noon, knowing what was supposed to be delivered and nothing is in my box. When talking to the staff they claim they are understaffed.....well take down the signs. Also, if the mail is finally in my PO Box it's not unusual for 2-3 items not to be delivered, sometimes they never actually arrive or they may arrive 4-5 days later. Terrible post office, terrible service and terrible and lazy staff. Find another post office to use. read more

Worst location I've ever used. I've never seen such a consistent "I don't give a f##k about my job" type of attitude anywhere else. I'd safely bet money that 9 out of 10 times I've gone, I have an absolute horrible experience. (Tough to not use this location due to it being practically down the street from my house.) I've read so many reviews that people's mail and/or packages get lost all the time and judging from their staff, I have one solid guess why it happens! Unpleasant, unfriendly, unprofessional. Hey ladies that were there today, could you wait a few minutes before you trash the customer that went right before me so you don't sound so rude and justify my opinion of this location? No? If I could give this Post Office zero stars I would. My package has been in out for delivery for 2 weeks. I addressed the issue with these folks and it seems a bother. The representative acted the tracking was invalid and had to show him excessive proof. Then demanded I call the merchant and did so per request, and told the merchant they are lying. In a nutshell, don't come here expecting them to provide customer service. I understand if you are overworked or having a bad day things do happen. They need to put themselves in the customer's shoes and show a little empathy, assist the person that is asking for help so they can move forward. Do not ever come to this location. I have just left and witnessed something terrible. The other front desk girl, not Monique. Laughed at a customer because he didn't speak English. He tried very hard to communicate with her and when he couldn't she said 'I'm not dealing with this shi* today' and also 'you get what you give' this man couldn't communicate with her, he didn't speak English and instead of helping him - she laughed at him and belittled him. This is a primarily Hispanic neighborhood and I'm disgusted at this behavior. Don't come to this location- they (it's probably just she )completely lacks respect and understanding. If I can give it no stars I would. The people who are employed behind the counter have an attitude that says I don't want to be here. When the place is Busy there is like 1 maybe 2 if your lucky for people working. Always a terrible experience, if I have to go there other wise I use UPS or FedEx if I was able to choose where I get my mail from. Worse than bad. This U.S. Post Office in Farmers Branch can no more follow instructions than the man on the moon. If you were to fill out a hold mail form so as to not have your mail delivered while you were on vacation, it would be ignored. The mail would still come. If you were to fill out a change of address/forward mail form, it would be ignored. The mail would still be delivered to the wrong address. This is truly the most incompetent post office that I have ever come in contact with. Complaints go in one ear and out the other. My recommendation is to tear down the building, fire all the workers, and start completely over in a new location. It's truly that bad. read more

This is by far the most "special" people I have ever met. Can't read numbers or names They've lost a package. It's been over a week. Nothing. I asked to keep ALL packages for this reason. And I will come pick them up!!!! Not only have they not found my package that they lost. "There's nothing they can do" as far a the $$$ value. Not that it should matter, but this was a 476 carat stone!!!!! Not just a pen. So not only can they not get the numbers right.... which is their 1 job. One job. It's very simply! They apparently don't seem to care. So now today. I get 2 pink slips which is good, with 3 packages. Do we understand " hold my packages?" So can't read numbers. Can't deliver mail properly. And can't understand English at this point. Here is my 2 pink slips and the packages I asked them to " stop delivering here, since they can't get the numbers correct. I go take the pink slips. I have never dealt with such a A unprofessional business. The lady with the dreadlocks or braids at the front desk is so Un professional I don't even know how she got a job with the government. She was so rude from the second I walked in. All I needed by the time I got to the front counter, was a sharpie to write the address it was going too. She made me get back in line when all it would have taken is 10 seconds to write it. I really didn't let that get to me. What got to me was the rudeness and the straight disrespect she showed me. I don't ship packages often, so I needed a little guidance. She made me purchase a label to put the address on when in the past I just wrote it on the box. Basically told me it's "over there" and pointed in the direction of the table with over 12 different labels at the table. She just kept pointing and saying it was right there. All while copping and attitude the entire time she disrespectfully told me what to do. It's like she thought I was Unintelligent. So yeah, I waiting in a line of 8 people to start off with, got to the front, & she wouldn't even let me just write down the address. Proceeded to send me to the back of the line of 10 people now. Several new people were in the building staring at each other with disbelief with how she talked to other customers including me. So when I was about second in line. She rudely told another customer that he couldn't take pictures. Last time I checked, this is a public building and it is very much within our rights to take pictures in a public building. The customer was selling a pair of shoes and most likely was just taking a picture showing that he was there at the post office to show his customer that he was legitimately sending a package. (I've had to do this several times. Myself in the past because I usually only send items when I sell them- very rarely) she yelled at that customer to the point he was so agitated that he stood up for himself. I was still in disbelief about the way she conducts herself. Luckily when I made it back up to the counter I talked to the somewhat nice gentleman about her behavior and how he needs to show her how to talk to customers. I made sure she could hear me. She immediately chimed in and defended herself... when I responded with what I wanted to see her do differently and she threw her hand up in my face and said I'm not speaking to you. So disrespectful to treat a customer like this. Then, the customer that was with her popped off and said "you can wait until I'm done with my transaction buddy" all because I had a legitimate complaint & I was standing up for myself and the other customers. He was just a rude as the lady (He must have been having a bad day just like the lady) I stopped down to their level and told him to "f**k off" he had no business getting in my conversation like that. I couldn't even make a point because he rudely jumped in on my conversation by trying to shut me up. Then he proceeded to want to fight me and told me to wait outside so he could "woop my ass" funny guy. I just chuckled to myself. I've never felt so unwelcome in a business and disrespected. I can tell you I will never step foot in this building again. Pretty much at the point I don't ever want to go to usps again. I know it not usps's fault though. I really don't know why this post office hasn't caught up with the times. I'm there constantly and I see people get in line and have to wait for menial things that have self-service stations at other post offices. They just recently upgraded to a new credit card machine, that was a big deal for them. That being said, the employees there actually do a great job with what they have. They're not big on small talk (except for that older man that doesn't ever seem to stop talking when he's there) but they're quick, efficient and let you know what the best deal for your parcels are. read more

This is not a bad location unlike what the first reviewer said, they don't have a lot of the amenities of larger branches but they're pretty quick and efficient. Customer service is so-so, not bad, but not great, so I felt like they landed pretty solidly at 3 stars. Helen Keller could run this post office and deliver the mail with more precision than the current staff. They are full of incompetence and laziness. They mark packages as "Undeliverable as Addressed" and then shortly after as "Delivered, In/At Mailbox". I've never had a problem with service at this post office. Everyone one is friendly and helpful, What I do have s problem with, is the delivery service. My home mail comes out of this post office. I get my mail anywhere from 2:00 to 6;00. And some days,myself or my neighbor don't get mail at all. I'm home all day and sometimes never see the truck. You can't even get a phone number to call, only an 800 phone number. I'm adding this. No mail Thursday. But got 2 deliveries Friday. NOW Saturday, no mail again!!!! read more

This is THE worst post office I've ever had the misfortune of having to interact with. Singularly, the worst. My zip code is 75244 and I am discovering a pattern of missing packages. Not mail; I am missing packages. Their phone number is apparently so confidential that other post offices in the area can't find it. The 800 number for USPS? Yeah, they can't help you. Thanks, Yelp, for posting it by the way. The first time this happened, I had to physically drive to the post office and wait to be helped only to be told it would be delivered that day (never mind the tracking said it had been delivered 2 days ago). So I ask, "Since the USPS tracking is lying about it being delivered, what's to make me think it is actually going to be delivered today? Can we call the driver and make sure?" The answer was no. If you think I sound a little obsessive, please take into account that while I rarely order completely unneeded items that I don't care whether or not I get them despite paying for them, this one was kind of an important package. Well, I guess I'll just slink off, accept this is entirely outside of my control and hope for the best. On that occasion, my package was delivered the following day (notice, it was either NOT on the truck out for delivery like they said it was or the mailman was just too damn lazy to move it from his/her truck to the front office that particular day) after I had already ordered a replacement the morning of the day after it they promised it would be delivered. What is prompting this rant of a review you ask? Yes, another package has gone missing. While I am grateful I didn't actually have to drive half way across DFW to this office to inquire in person of the whereabouts of my package, I have very little faith it will find its way into my hands. My tracking information was updated as delivered on Friday. It's Tuesday. So I call and say I'd like to speak with someone about a missing package. The woman on the phone was about as helpful as a 14 year old being asked about opening a Roth IRA account. She says, "Okay... are you going to give me any more information?" Oh you need more information?? How unexpected. Are you going to let me know what you need? Maybe I should have just verbally vomited all of the information I could possibly imagine she might find useful on her the minute she picked up the phone, telephone etiquette be damned. Finally she says she'll check on it and call me back. Anyone want to take bets on how long I'll be waiting for that call? I'm thinking forever. And perhaps the most aggravating thing about it is, this is a government office! If you live in this zip code, you have absolutely no way to avoid having your life affected by the completely and utterly incompetent workers who run this ineffective, unproductive joke of an establishment. They are in no way negatively impacted by the breadth of their inefficiency, no matter how much people complain. I have lived in Farmers Branch for about six weeks and have had mis-delivered or missing mail nearly every day for the past 40 days. Repeated phone calls and visits to the post office have yielded no change or result. I have been thwarted in all attempts to communicate with the Station Manager, but I know her staff by their first names since I speak with them regularly. I use the USPS Informed Delivery service, so I get an email every morning showing me what mail/packages will be delivered. That's how I know things are missing! And here's a few examples of what's been happening: Besides the lost mail (including wedding invitations, checks, and documents relating to my new home purchase), sometimes, my neighbors will bring me a piece of my mail that has been mis-delivered to them. Sometimes, I receive a certified letter that *nobody* has signed for. Sometimes, my neighbors receive a certified letter *for me* that has not been signed for! I've been told that the 19 homes in my subdivision have two different mail carriers, but it's funny because all our mailboxes are located in the same place. It's like this post office purposely does not follow any protocols or rules of mail delivery, and while the staff are generally pleasant and promise to 'do better', it still doesn't get me my lost mail and it certainly doesn't give me back all the time I've spent trying to get my mail and packages. Just got envelope with thumb drive with family pics, which I will never get again. The envelope was cut open and thumb drive stolen.

Half of my mails are missing . one package got stolen. After several calls(which they didn't attend) I went to give a complaint to the office about my missing mails and package, but the supervisor behaved very mean despite the fact i am being polite. Her answers were reckless and after i asked her what is the procedure to file a complaint , she replies - 'I am the supervisor and you complained to me . I will check our mailman and will let you know ' . very politely, i asked if i can get a complaint number , she raised her voice and says "i said i will call you tomorrow there isn't any complaint number' . Its been 10 days , i haven't got her call neither did they respond well again. Forget about my package , there was another lady who came to complain that she got more than 100 mails not belonging to her. This supervisor doesn't even care to meet her. i was wondering what in the world they are super busy at ? I work 12 hours a day and despite that i try to be polite to my customers. I don't understand why it is difficult for some of them . Overall this office at this location is really scary ! I have advised all my merchants not to post anything via USPS . despite that most of mails from bank are from USPS. I don't get any of them. I am still wondering where my mails are struck ! I had to mail an important document and wasn't sure of the best way to send it and guarantee that it would arrive on the other end. An older gentleman named Mr. Allen helped me at the desk and was extremely kind and courteous as well as knowledgeable. I saved some money and got exactly what I needed. Service was very fast (Tuesday at 4:15.) I know post offices are generally slow and frustrating, but I received great customer service here. Thank you Mr. Allen! read more

Horrible, horrible! Never, ever, use this Post Office if you have an alternative. They misroute packages causing delays, some days don't deliver at all because they claim they have no gate access, have a nonchalant attitude, not helpful when you call and need to know where a package is, put the wrong mail in boxes, etc., do I need to say more? It makes me wonder what has happened to the great postal service of yesteryear! We keep getting more and more increases in postal fees but little return and reliability. I don't understand it! I track packages on items I order and I can see how packages just sit at the same post office for 2 or 3 days before they are delivered even though they are there to be delivered! I hate this post office! They sometimes don't even deliver mail to our entire apartment complex if they can't access the gate even though they have been given the gate code. The manager, assistant manager and tenants here at Park Forest Apartments have complained to the head postmaster at this location but to no avail. They simply do not care!! I am truly fed up with this location as I have had 5 issues with them not delivering mail when they say they will or did. I am tired of paying high postage to receive my merchandise only to have to go and pick it up. They are a true disgrace to the U.S. Postal system and need to be investigated. This is the worst PO I've ever dealt with. Called them from SC and was on hold for 20 minutes. Finally hung up and called back and someone answered. I gave them the tracking # and she said the package was undeliverable because the distribution center sent it to the wrong PO. What does that mean? Anyway she said my package would be delivered at some point. I run a business and it's important that my customers get their package within a reassonable amount of time.
