What a cool post office!! Talk about a trip back in time. So much detail and character it's like walking into a museum. You don't get architecture like this anymore. Only bad thing about this post office is that it isn't wheelchair accessible. At least we couldn't find an entrance. We went to three and they were all stairs and revolving doors. We were looking for a ramp for the stroller. Try getting a stroller through a revolving door sheesh it was tough. read more

This post office is ultra-convenient and provides the same great service other locations offer. I really enjoy and appreciate the architecture and decor of the the downtown post office. In catching the train at the T&P Station, I simply walked over to the mail dropbox in order to deposit a Christmas card to a friend. Once again, it was convenient and very user-friendly. If you have never stopped by this location, I highly encourage you to do so. If you don't feel like physically stopping by for stamps, the website streamlines the process for the ordering of postage to be delivered to your residence. The few dollars in shipping is more than worth my time and effort. read more

Absolute worst place to get your passport. Expect them to send you away about five times (even if there's no one there). Every time we come here they always have an excuse. They claim they do walk ins until 11. NOT! We got here at 930 just for them to say "oh you should have been here at 8 cause there's usually a line." read more

I dropped a phone off here to be mailed to my assurance company on 03/01/25 , got an email Saturday stating they never received my package so I returned to see what's going on here it is on 03/11/25 and their saying my package was never shipped and they can't find it so now I have to call multiple people to file a claim read more

Very Bad service. I intercepted a package while it as at the Fort Worth distribution center to redirect the package to a pickup location in Washington DC, because I since moved from my previous address and considering that the package contained very important document (my passport). Instead, they billed me for the rerouting without doing anything and delivered the package to my old address in Waco, TX. Very Very Terrible Set of Human beings!! The best post office!! Not only are they open until 6 pm but they are SO nice! I actually really enjoy coming here. I never have tape and the lady always tapes my packages for me. Maybe that's already her job but I just appreciate it so much. One person working the Saturday before Christmas and the operation is still moving well. Troy was very courteous and professional, I would drive out of my way to visit this location. My local USPS haf two people working and a line out the door *distancing with a 20min wait. This place seems to be a hidden gem. The building is gorgeous, old deco style accents. read more

For passport processing, DO NOT use this place. Worst experience. Not only will you be told incorrect things by one person, you'll be harassed by the other about their "appointment rules". First time...made appointment....went in and explained my passport was stolen....told to fill out certain form and come back tomorrow. Did that and came back next day only to then be told I'd need an additional form now and since I didn't have a "slip" that I would have to make another appointment. Mind you, a "slip" is apparently a sticky note they would give you...I presume saying it's ok to return without another appointment. Decided to just abandon post office all together (passports are dept of state anyways...post office is just there as a service to "help" submit your paperwork to the dept of state....and they charge you a fee to do it). Went to county clerk's office just a few blocks from this place..walked in...done. They are wayyyy more friendly, easier and didn't have to deal with any run-around. Learn from this and ditch the post office's horrible "passport service". PS. Wish I could give them ZERO stars as they don't even deserve one. read more

Visiting the post office is never fun. Not for me anyway. Long lines, meh attitudes of employees, bureaucracy. But there's something about this post office that's magical. Maybe it's the downtown location. Maybe it's the extremely customer service oriented employees (shout out to Troy, he's the GOAT as far as postal employees are concerned!). Maybe it's the historic building. Maybe it's the revolving door that you use to enter and exit. Whatever it is, I absolutely love visiting this location. In addition to having a pleasant experience at this location, I've never waited longer than 10 minutes with quite a line. They keep it moving here. I'm talking middle of the day and after work (yes, they stay open until 6 pm - insert Hallelujah Chorus here). If you find yourself in downtown Fort Worth and in need of stamps or other postal needs, drop by this historic post office and I guarantee you will leave in a better mood than when you entered. read more

Did I just find the nicest, kindest and most polite postal clerk I have ever met?! Quite possibly! I wish I had gotten his name but there was someone behind me so I rushed off. It was clerk 04 on Saturday the 23rd of September at 2:48pm (thank you for being open late on Saturday!!). It's a beautiful building as well. It's an interesting Post Office. Big, old, historic. A dinosaur from a more grandiose time. Lots of PO boxes. Even has a little museum of sorts, if I am remembering correctly. I was just passing through, so can't really comment on the level of service one might, or might not, get. But if you like the feel of a classic post office, it would be fun to walk through. Bottom line: My grandfather was a mailman, so this place makes me sentimental. read more

I dropped off a package to have delivered and the person at the front desk sent my package back to me and got the address mixed up. she did not confirm the address with me on the screen and skipped that step. I wrote on the package To: the address I'm sending it to and From: my address. she said I should not have wrote it like that and had to pay for it yet again to have my package shipped. We arrived here at 1:42 PM on April 15, tax day. For some reason, the post office, which less hours till 5 PM, indicated they would not do passports after 2 PM. Although we were there well before 2 PM, the generally angry postal worker that was up front decided not to help us and locked the door. I expect she was angry because it was tax day, and we might be cutting into her short day holiday. read more

No line, kind service :). Honestly went to this post office just because it's so beautiful. There is a parking garage behind the building across the street, but I just paid about 50 cents at a meter closer to the post office. The inside of the building has an old-fashioned charm. read more

Truly terrible experience. Terri (or Carrie) was beyond unprofessional! My expectations are not high but being treated with a bit of respect and politeness should not be too much to ask. I walked in at 4:30 pm to get my passport renewed, she screamed that she has 3 more applications and she is done for the day. I do like the inside of the post office. Lately, mail person has been putting the wrong mail in the mailbox now it has become way more serious worse putting important mail into the wrong mailbox, and when reported response being that they delivered the mail. Monitoring all mail including important, mail person put a pink slip into our mailbox go to the post office to pick up important mail/package mail clerk cannot find anything, sometimes they leave important mail/package at the leasing office sometimes they don't, for me to be leaving this review it has gotten that bad, do not know if mail person is stuck in their ways or just lazy or both". read more

You can smell the history in this place as soon as you get through the front door. I visited solely for that alone. There's a feeling you get (especially for history buffs) when you walk into a place like this. Takes you back to another time in our history where life was a tad slower, and a bit more simple. Where the only means of distance-communication was the mail; communication was not instant and it was treasured and important. read more

Beautiful building, some of the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. The lady who "helped" us Jeanette seemed like she was looking for every possible reason to not approve my passport application. When we accidentally filled out the form in blue ink instead of black she laughed and told us to go to the back of the line. It was really unfortunate that she had such a poor attitude and was so unhelpful. Bring EVERY DAMN FORM you may possibly need of she will send you home. read more

If I could give 0 I would. This is for USPS in general.. Ipaid my friend to ship a check to me overnight on Thursday. It was guaranteed to be to me on Friday at noon. San Diego didn't ship it out until 7:30 Friday night lol. Are you kidding me? Ok, one mistake... I can understand. Well, they then decide to mis-ship the package to Oklahoma, when I am in Texas haha. After calling and calling people NO ONE can give me an answer on how we can expedite this or at least for someone to show a LITTLE urgency. 4 people told me they'd call me back and no one did. One phone call I explained myself to 3 people. They all transferred me to someone else. The 4th person didn't answer and I was hung up on. Guys, PLEASE USE FEDEX AND NEVER EVEN THINK ABOUT USING USPS. I hate to say it, but most of them are incompetent!! read more

Actually, this post office is really nice. I have to come here almost everyday for work and the people who work here are extremely pleasant and helpful. They have saved me so much time with the letters I have to send for work. I love the architecture of the building, as well. Never did I think I would be writing a review for the United States Postal Service. I also NEVER expected to receive the kind of service at a post office as I did here! I was complete a huge mailing for work. Long story short, it came to my attention that correct postage was not put on the packages I dropped in the mailbox. The postal worker took out some bins and got them out of the mailbox for me! About four postal bins later, a different postal worker very nicely helped me calculate the correct postage. It took me about thirty minutes to affix the rest of the postage to the packages, and when I was done, a third postal worker came and took them all for me. WOW. I can't say enough good things! Beautiful historic landmark, but postal deliver to our downtown office is absolutely horrible! There is at least 1 day per week that we do not get mail at all. I've called numerous times and was told they are shorthanded. When companies don't get their mail, don't ya think it is time to hire another person! Unfortunately, USPS is like the IRS.....you can complain but no one cares. If you plan to have a business downtown fort worth, think twice. read more
