An employee was called to assist and reset the machine, which resulted in my entire transaction being erased. I did not receive any usable shipping labels, and my payment was not refunded. As a result, I lost $35 due to a kiosk malfunction and the subsequent reset performed by the employee. I am requesting reimbursement of the $35 charged and guidance on how this issue will be resolved.

There were people waiting in line (about 3 ahead of us). We were there right at the opening on a Monday morning. I would recommend getting there early to beat the crowd! There were people trickling in as we were leaving the post office. The Post Office is dated, and a drab though! Poor lighting, and interior that has not been updated since the 70s probably. Priority mail packages left before 5PM routinely are not processed the same day. Tracking number 9405550105495024124913 was droppd off at 4:40PM on April 22 and was not scanned that evening. Priority mail should be processed the same day if dropped off before 5PM. Calling the Post Office number only gets the phone to ring many times and then the call is disconected. The Postmaster will not answer or return calls when complaints are filed with the USPS website.

So, I called the Post Office. I was surprised when someone answered and proactively assisted me. The Post Office contacted the carrier assigned to the route. Within a short time, the package was found (apparently it was in their mail box). The Post Office even called me back to let me know how things went. I was impressed with this level of customer service and professionalism. Many businesses (including many USPS locations here in California) would simply dismiss my concerns. However, I felt like the individuals working at this Post Office treated me as though my concerns were important. Kudos to the Quinlan Post Office!
