Great USPS location. It is on the smaller side but it is way less crowded than the other location off of Tippin Ave.

If you mail anything via USPS, make sure it's something that you have a receipt for and then insure…read morethe box. I recently recieved the front of a cardboard box (the USPS box-cut it off and mailed it back to me with a form to fill out) claiming that all of my items were "lost"... yet the box was still intact but not one item was ever mailed back. Odd, I had no idea that the USPS's mail conveyor was suspended above a small black hole... I've used the USPS before and never had this problem, so I assumed that it was a crazy fluke accident. I was in the middle of a cross country move and the USPS was the cheapest option for mailing stuff, so the next packages I mailed (DVDs, books I acquired over the years, old family photos, etc.), I insured. This time the packages were ripped open in several spots as well as taped up where the box was completely ripped down the center. When I inspected the contents, several items were missing. Looks like someone literally kicked a hole in the box and was like; "let's take a looksy at what's inside" ...then continued to have at it like a caffeinated kid with a piñata. Here's the catch... since I didn't have receipts for these things: family photos, vintage books, etc. ...ya know, just things that have taken years to acquire, the USPS did not reimburse me for the package. That said, if you're traveling cross country and thinking of shipping things to yourself, ship clothes and take all of your irreplaceable items as carry on. If you want to read more horror stories about damaged and lost USPS boxes, just google USPS "customer experiences" with claims made for lost items.

The staff is generally friendly and gets things done efficiently, especially for standard drop-offs and packages. It's conveniently located near the Walmart Neighborhood Market, with plenty of parking (if its not a major holiday), and they offer all the usual services like notary and shredding. Not the flashiest place, but it does the job well without any major issues. Solid choice for everyday shipping in Gulf Breeze." Kudos to the guys and gals at this UPS location for dealing with those complicated customers that drag themselves in at the last minute before closing!

I had an Amazon label on my phone and they insisted on making me pay to print a label. They charged me $2.39 to print a one page label to send back a $20 item to Amazon. I've never been so poorly treated ever and would highly recommend UPS pull this franchise from this owner. And, no, we don't find amazon returns "confusing", nor was this post related to "feelings". Very familiar with dealing with amazon returns, and this review is a result of poor business decisions leading to poor customer service. Don't appreciate the condescending response any more than the lousy customer service.

Cervantes St. in Pensacola, where we have an account. The manager Gary kindly told us that his notary wasn't at work, but said he has another UPS store at 6847 N. 9th Ave. in Pensacola. So, we went there. We asked employee# 315851 for the cheapest way possible to accomplish what we needed done. We were SHOCKED when he quoted to us $273.26. We asked if the U.S. Postal Service charges the same high amount and his exact words were, "it's about the same." We felt sick but needed our documents notarized and mailed, so we paid him the $273.26 ($10 each to notarize two documents, and then $253.26 to mail our letter with return receipt to Guam). As we left we felt taken advantage of, so we called the U.S. Postal Service to verify what we'd been told at the UPS Store and were again SHOCKED to learn that it only costs $13.35 to mail an envelope with return receipt to Guam. We immediately went to complain to Gary at the other UPS Store where we have an account, and he said to go ask for a refund, so we did and they gave our money and envelope back. We just paid $20 for the notarizations. We mailed our letters for $13.35 at the USPS. We posted a negative review on Google on October 16th, 2025, about our store at 707 E. Cervantes, because Gary said "I have another store," implying that he owns both stores. He kindly asked us to remove our negative review, since the issue happened at a different store. So in kindness we removed our review and posted it about the other UPS Store on 9th avenue. We asked Gary to please not bring the issue up again when we meet him again. On November 21, 2025, I and my wife went to check our mailbox at the UPS Store at 707 E. Cervantes Avenue. Against our request, Gary brought up the incident from October 16th, making a lame excuse that the reason why we were charged $273.26 was because the two documents needed to be notarized. That is simply untrue! We were charged $20 total to have two documents notarized. We were ridiculously charged $253.26 just to mail a standard priority-sized envelope to Guam, with return receipt. USPS only charged us $13.35! Kindly said, we are disgusted with the UPS Store! We don't appreciate the manager bringing up the matter after we kindly asked him not to, because what was done was done. Nor do we appreciate that today Gary attempted to justify UPS charging us $253.26 just to mail one standard-sized envelope to Guam. There simply is no excuse. We were lied to, told that the USPS charges "about the same." UPS in fact charges $250 MORE than the USPS! We didn't want to repost a negative review about the UPS Store at 707 E. Cervantes, but this is just plain wrong. Gary shouldn't have brought the issue up again over one month later, and worse, trying to defend UPS overcharging us by $250. We are frustrated with what the UPS Store did to us. Thank you for reading.
