Unfortunately this place is getting only two star due to the service it provides. It seems that SOME of the people who work there got way to comfortable in their position that they think that it's ok to provide less than a mediocre service. Not very pleasant and not very efficient. Seems to lose mail items and have no clue how or where to find the "missing goods" I am not sure if this is a training facility that constantly gets new people who aren't very knowledgeable in their trades. I take my mail business elsewhere even though this place is less than 2 miles from my office and rather drive 5 miles to a much better mail branch where I get a great service. Extremely slow service at this post office regardless if you are the only one in line or if there are 5 people in line, although you may be waiting for 45 minutes if you have any people waiting ahead of you. My package was scheduled to be received two weeks ago. When I use the TRACKING feature it tells me the package arrived at my local post office on the 9th of this month (today is the 19th...), it's moving through the system and it will be delivered "late", with no expected delivery date. This postal system is a big joke, there is "0" accountability, phone system is a big black hole, no one answers and if they ever answer they are not able to give you any type of information other than what you already know. My only option is to seat around and wait until they feel like delivering, who knows when that will take place! If you select the option to file a claim it asks (again) for the tracking number and tells you the claim cannot be filed because the package is "moving through the system". As long as the package is "moving through the system" you are screwed!!!... nothing to do or say. And that folks is why the Post Office is going down the drain... read more

Every post office except this one the employees have been great, even though I normally don't go in the post office because I hate it. Today I was in need of stamps and decided to go in. The line wasn't very long, but there was one young lady getting some of the free packing boxes and the worker Gloria was extremely rude and told she could only take 2 boxes. Then when the young lady walked out Gloria kept making rude comments about her to the other workers and the customer she was helping. Then Gloria helped me, that was a nightmare. I can't believe how rude she is. I paid for my stamps and she didn't hand them to me and accused me of taking them when she put them on the other side of that window. When I went in today there was two lady's working and only one other person ahead of me. Gloria was one of the ladies. She was helping a lady that took her 25mins and the other one was helping a guy asking a million questions about getting a PO Box and having the mail transfer. After Gloria was done she looked at me and said can I help you. I then told her this lady was before me. The young mom with about a 7yr old boy went up and Gloria help her. What should have taken 2mins max, she was mailing a small package envelope. The customer said she wanted to cheapest way, Gloria kept going over all the other way with cost and what the cover. The lady said just the cheapest way. So, her cost was $8 and some change, she gave her $20 bill. Gloria ask do you have some ones and change so I can just give you back $15. Why??? Do they not carry change.??? She then gave her the $15 after the lady dug for the extra money. After all that, Gloria says: is that your son? Can I give him a coloring book? She had to walk over to get it, then hands it to her, oh let me give him a sticker that says he came her to today... oh wait one more thing. I can see on this lady face she just wants to get on with her day after this very long wait, but was being nice. She then looked at me to help me. I came up and the other lady was still waiting for her confirmation receipt, she goes oh you need that. ( I get giving kids stuff, however you have already taken so much time and no one asked for it) Finally my turn, she asked me to pick up my box I place on the countertop and lean forward around the plastic wall and put it on the scale for her... (I can't do that from being in a two car accidents with 30something days apart)... she was like well... I can't pick it up to put on there... isn't this her job???? the other lady stopped what she was doing walked over to put it on there. She told me a price I wasn't expecting and it's been about 6moths since I've shipped something... I thought this was a flat rate box... she was like no it's not, it's smaller. I asked where is the flat rate box? She says it's smaller... again. I had to ask were is the flat rate again, as she was about to for the third time say it, I cut her off and asked again where the box was (so my time wasn't wasted anymore)she then said you are being rude and I will deny you service if you don't talk to me right.... At this point I wanted to be rude, say something... but I didn't have time, I needed to get to an appointment and didn't think it would take me this long. I've been to other post offices that have 15 people in line and still don't take this long! I then went to get the box and she says again it's not as big. How many times is she going to tell me this??? I didn't want to pay $26 compared to $21... so, I was going to go back and use the flat rate one. This is my worst and maybe only bad experience I've ever had at a postal office. I didn't mention that I brought a letter that was sent to my house that wasn't my address or names here... instead of helping me with my box I was trying to mail... she was looking the letter information up. I had to ask her three times can we please take care of my package first before she then... like she never heard me she's I can deal with later to herself. After reading all the negative reviews online about her... makes me think the USPS cares less about customers and that's why she still works there. I think I will use UPS even though it cost a little more. I wanted to support the Us that has been struggling and the first to do mail. Such a horrible experience with Gloria on 12/14/23 damaging my mail, that I was sending. She was NOT the clerk even assisting me, and after listening to her talk to the lady ahead of me, instructing her to "get the envelope rack put back in order for her" I was glad not to be her next victim! She had NO right to damage my personal things. She jumped in on Sylvia who was kindly assisting me, Gloria I guess was trying to steal an extra USPS envelope to fold my things in, to put into my flat rate to "save me money". I didn't ask her for a discount OR help placing my items into the flat rate envelope. I'm quite capable. I only ask Sylvia to recommend the right one, I did not need any assistance sliding my mail into it. Gloria picked up my things and then went on to tell me, that I did not know how to do it and that she needed to do it for me.... She repeated the same to Sylvia several times, telling her that she can't let customers do it themselves, because they don't know what they're doing. Sylvia was quiet and professional the entire time, but by then, I'm thinking, WHAT in the world???? She then began damaging my mail, literally folding pieces and crumpling a personal letter up, that I specifically told her that I preferred NOT to fold. If the envelope was used appropriately, it did not need to be. After watching her attempt numerous times, I finally spoke up, I said, please stop, I will do it, you're wadding up my letter, and it was, not only folded, but wadded. She then literally started yelling at me in front of everyone and said "I KNOW what I'm doing, I've been doing it 40 years, and then said, well then she (referring to the other clerk Sylvia) can go on and charge you for the second envelope. So ridiculous!!! She is and has been beyond rude for years and gets away with it. Who is in charge of the USPS in Haltom City? Gloria? They don't have enough help because no one wants to work with her. Customers have had it, and reading the reviews sure tells the story. WHY is she still an employee there?? Why do we pay taxes to employee someone who is careless, rude and destructive? I tried three times to file a formal complaint and it won't even process. It must be clogged with complaints about Gloria. This is why I'm posting reviews in every place that I can. USPS, please stop this madness! You see this! You see the ratings for that location and why they are so low. Stop turning a blind eye! It's absurd to hear how she talks to every person that walks through the door like there are absolutely 0 consequences for her actions. Gloria was/is the only person working at the customer counter today around 3pm. She is very slow...the line was very backed up. Then she invited those only buying stamps to skip in front of others. Parcel pick up is normally what skips you in line ONLY because another postal worker is attending to your needs. Gloria started to ask everybody what they were in line for.....I just had surgery and did not want to speak loud, my right ear is still swollen from facial surgery. When it became my turn, Gloria said, can I help you, I walked up, set down my bag and my car keys to be able to reach in my bag/purse to retrieve the $10,000 check I needed to mail for a client of mine. Gloria said AGAIN can I help you...irritated I said "yes, I'm reaching in my bag for the item I need help with", and asked about the cost to mail priority vs overnight. she got RUDE and said ma'am if you had told me what you wanted when I asked, you could be filling out paperwork now. I said I have all day and I'm sure you're not off for a few hours, I set down a set of 5 pieces of paper on the scale with the $10,000 check to be weighed and asked, can you just tell me how much to send this priority vs overnight....she rambled out some prices then she complained that now I'd have to go fill out the paper. I said look, this is my 1st day out of the house since surgery and I really don't like that you let people skip the line....now, I have time to fill this out. Then I said I'll step to the side and fill the paper out, I then asked where is the stuff to fill out. She pointed, said over there.....I had no clue what she meant or exactly which item. She acted like I was wasting her time....she then complained about 3 times how her mom just died. That's a reason to stay home and NOT a reason to treat me bad. Stay away from Gloria.
