I get other people's mail in MY PO Box, as well as my packages always get turned away, even though I'm actively PAYING, for shelf space and a PO Box. Soldiers, spouses, and generally people, avoid this place if you can. Although I was not happy with the wait the man who helped me was quick, professional and straight to the issue. That man alone (could tell he was former USMC) is the reason for my five star review. Today 29 Sep 2022 , I found the mail on the floor of my porch. included in this mail was my son's monthly work check and an important document I have been waiting. I looked at my camera and see the mail delivery attempting to put the mail in the box then walking away, she saw the mail fall on the floor and neglected to go back and put it in the mailbox. What a nightmare! I used priority mail to mail my passport in March. After waiting for 8 weeks for my passport to be returned, I started checking on it. Seems the passport never left the Killeen office and they do not want to be bothered in searching for it. Absolutely no help whatsoever. Went in 4 different times to speak to the supervisor. I think he is an urban legend. I have called the office over 100 times. They do not answer the phone. Thankfully my representative is getting involved. I went to Lampasas post office and they immediately searched and found my package had never left the Killeen office. The Lampasas office was kind, courteous and helpful. Mika was absolutely amazing! I have never received better customer service from USPS. I told her someone sent me a package but they had Google fill out the delivery info for apartment and name. Mika was able to retrieve the package and get it to me even after the store officially closed. Mika is one of the few people who still know how customer service is really done. Customer service across all platforms whether it be restaurants, airlines, or stores, has diminished. Mika is the opposite of this downward trend. I mailed a payment to a bank in Killeen Tx for my property it was priority mail 1-3 days it did not arrive until 11 days later, they need better employees who care to deliver the mail on time, I should of sent it regular mail it would of got there in three days. They said it's not guaranteed so why pay $8.00 if it won't be delivered in 1-3 days . Beware of sending things to Killeen they just don't care about there job... If I could give a negative star I would. The Charlottesville Va post office is the worst! I have two packages that are lost that have been "delivered". I'm upset with both but the most upsetting is a set of antique coins that I ordered that were supposedly delivered on 4/17 @2:36pm. There was plenty of junk mail in my box so they know where my box is, so Im not sure why the coins were in there. You call the number listed and cannot get anyone. I have called every number listed for help and not one answers and you cannot leave a message. Where is the help? Instead of giving money to this service you should be taking it away! PASSPORT OFFICE: Make an appointment at the Temple post office or go to the Lampasas post office especially if you have little ones with you. The Killeen location is too busy with too little workers - avoid if you can. It's worth the short drive out of town to get the task done. If you must use the Killeen PO, be sure to get there at least an hour early + pack a cooler just in case. read more

Review only for passport office located inside of this post office in room 112. Hours are 9:00 - 2:00. One person processes all passport applications, renewals and issuance of mail box keys. Make sure all paperwork is filled out and that you have all documents required before you LR name is called. Sign in on the clip board, sit and wait.... Feels like being at the DMV. The classroom stile waiting area is small and can fit between 25-30 people seated. Be prepared for people with a lot of children crying, screaming, running around, acting out while you are there. Showing up at 9:02 there are nearly 10 people already signed in so if you are in a rush, block your entire morning off and arrive nearly 30 minutes ahead of time and stand by the door until it opens. It is a full service passport office so official photos, expedited services and other services are provided. Cash is required ($15) for the photo. There is also a passport acceptance in Moody, TX that accepts walk ins and appointments. This location is walk-ins only. Use black ink only!! read more
