I've gotta say, the post office is not my favorite place in the whole World to go... but these people really make it great! After 5 minutes standing in a line that was out the door, I was happy to find the most kind, joyful lady I have ever came in contact with. I wish I could remember her name, because this lady deserves MAD PROPS. Everytime I visit she is consistently like this. Very efficient and willing to answer any questions... I have a post office much closer to my new house, but purposely drive here just to get the same quality service with a smile that she provides. High five, you've got a keeper! read more

Brian is a complete ass hole. I placed a package on the counter and he just looked at me and said "what is this?" with a condescending attitude. It's a post office so its pretty obvious what I'm there for. I said I wanted it shipped and he game me a piece of tape and told me to tape it up. I've never had a good experience at USPS and there's a reason why Brian works there, they hire the bottom of the barrel and it shows. read more

Just awful. This is the nearest 24 hour kiosk post office to me, but it's not even worth coming here anymore. The kiosk has always been temperamental, but at least it worked, most of the time. They recently upgraded to a new system and it's worse than the old one. The first time I got in line for it, people behind and in front of me were complaining about how slow it was. Not only is it more time-consuming than the old system, but it seems to be broken even more often. I came by tonight to mail a package and despite an "easier than ever" sign near the kiosk, I came to find out that the kiosk cannot print postage for packages OR letters at this time. What a waste. Needed to drop off my passport renewal and was already feeling anxiety having to go the post office. This was the closest location to where I was running errands. It can be a little tricky finding the location and there is only a one way entrance so if you miss it, you miss it so keep your eyes peeled. I came in before 9 am on a Friday and it was not busy at all. I was helped immediately and the employee was very nice and friendly. I overheard another employee helping another guest and he also seemed warm and inviting. It was quite speedy which made the experience less of a chore! The location is a little dated but I think that's what gives it charm. Not a bad experience at all, in and out within minutes! read more

Lisa made a racist remark today when I visited this location. I'm flustered by how often people like Lisa get away with making subtle but extremely obvious racist jabs. Mailing out a package, I was sent to the back of the line by Lisa because I had not yet written the address on the package. Fair enough... I went to the back of the line and wrote the address on my package. When I got back to Lisa, she said to me as if I was a child, "In America, we write who it's from in the corner and where it is going in the center". She had me go back to the line for the second time to fix this error. I looked at her and said "it's obvious you don't want to help me today" "in America, we...." is a completely racist statement. Apparently, Lisa assumes every person of color is not an American. It was so unnecessary to put it that way. Why would you even start your sentence with "In America, we..." If she took the time to notice, I could not write the address in the center, because the box was taped down the middle at the seam. Furthermore, the pens that they provide are tethered to the table with a cord too short to even reach the center of the box. I waited in line again for a different clerk, although Lisa was the next available. She seemed to be picking out customers to help those who appeared to have the simplest transactions. Extremely lazy to pass me off to another clerk instead of providing basic customer service. I went to Bryan... who helped me purchase a label sticker to write the address on and took the time to ask me questions and begin the process of keying things into the computer. I thanked him for "being willing to do what his co-worker was too lazy to" No one ever offered me a different writing utensil such as a permanent marker to be able to write directly on the box. Lisa could have helped me from the beginning and it would have maybe taken an extra 1-2 minutes of time. Someone should speak to Lisa about her behaviour and perhaps some cultural competence training is long over due. read more

I literally wish i could give negative stars on this place. The woman working at the front desk with curly hair is the rudest person I've ever encountered. I was nothing but nice and smiles and she offered me nothing but scoffs and eye rolls and told me to go to the back of the line because I had not written the address on my package. I was understanding and even offered my spot in line to another customer behind me while I did so. She loudly said "i guess so" and shoved my package back at me and proceeded to nicely greet the next man in line??? Grr. Today is January 4th, 2019. On December 27th, 2018 my package left Dallas by UPS. On Saturday, December 29th, 2018, the package arrived in OKC. On January 2nd, 2019, the package was transferred to USPS. Nothing else was done on January 2nd. On January 3rd, I was in my office. Allegedly, at 3:09 (when I was there) they attempted to deliver the package. The front door was unlocked. They said they left a notice which I never received. So today, after the mail came without my package I had to go track it down. I explained what had happened. The post woman expressed consternation. She questioned my story. Was maybe the door locked. No. Eventually she went and found my box. Did you know that packages sent UPS or FEDEX can eventually be transferred to USPS? Did you know they can lie on the delivery and mess it up. This review started out as a [*][*][*]. Then after a few interactions over the last few weeks, I walked away thinking, "Man, they sure do have some extra strong wooden planks up their sphincters in this joint." At this point they were skating closer to a [*][*] rating. I had mailed out 55 (or so) envelopes at the post office on the North side of OKC (closer to where I live). I was informed that it would cost 91 cents per envelope (because of the weight/dimensions of the aforementioned envelope). No issues to speak of with that post office. Within a week, people in California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, and everywhere in between were letting me know they had received what I had sent them. Last week, I needed to mail some more (identical in weight/dimensions, etc.) envelopes, but this time I went to this sucky location (because it was closer to my office). I told one of the (many) surly postal workers that I needed some 91 cent stamps. He got all uppity with me and said that he hadn't checked the weight so he couldn't verify if 91 cents was what I actually needed. I told him I had already checked before, but whatever, I figured it wouldn't hurt for him to check again. Lo and behold: 91 cents. I bought the stamps. I put the stamps on the envelopes. I handed the envelopes over and walked out. A few days later, I received an envelope. One of my envelopes that I had mailed. Scribbled on the envelope along with the "Postage Due" stamp was a note stating that I needed an additional 42 cents in postage. What kind of asinine operation is being run here where you get to arbitrarily establish postage prices after the fact? The kicker? The envelope had been addressed to a residence in Yukon, OK. So the envelopes sent from the other post office got to people living as far as the East and West coast(s). But the exact same envelope with the exact same postage can't get to its destination in a neighboring zip code. Bureaucracy at its finest. I ended up hand delivering it. I complained on USPS' website, and they responded a couple days after that I should have taken the returned mail back to the post office and told them they were wrong. Yeah, well... Coulda, woulda, shoulda. For future reference, you can take the returned mail back to the post office and tell them they are wrong... I'm willing to put up with bad attitudes for the sake of competent service. But if you get rid of the competent service while keeping the bad attitude, I'm not sure what the draw is to this antiquated semi-autonomous government corporation. You could maybe try increasing the prices on stamps and see if that'll fix the problem... Bad Attitude + Incompetence = [*] for this location. Also, who uses the post office anymore? The security officer was incredibly disrespectful and wouldn't even listen to me explaining to him that it wasn't yet 5 which is the time clearly posted on the door. I do a post of business at USPS and this is the absolute rudest branch I have dealt with in OKC. I drive an additional 3 miles just to drop off at the downtown station because every single time I have used this location, I have been met with RUDE attitudes. Today I left crying because the bald white guy was so apathetic. He made a snide remark as I exited the lobby and I said "excuse me? What did you say?" and when he wouldn't even look at me I told him that they are truly the rudest postal station I've dealt with. An older gentlemen who was behind me in line followed me out to tell me that I'm absolutely right and that he's complained on them multiple times. How are the clerks still employed?? I used to live in one of the ZIP Codes this post office services, but after an event late in 2014 I may never walk in to this location again! The review has to do with how they handle - or mismanage - their closing procedure. It was near the end of the day. I knew that & that's why I was hurrying to be there before they closed. I arrived to the lobby before the stated closing time. There were about seven people in line in front of me as I walked in the unlocked door. Clearly they were not closed because the door was not locked and people were standing in line, and yet simply my presence invoked of verbal tirade from one of two clerks. "We are closed sir!" Really? Is this why the time is not on the clock, your door is unlocked, and people are waiting? Really? What amazing inventions are the clock and door locks! Either you're open as you clearly were or you were closed which can clearly be demonstrated by both the clock and a locked door! But don't discriminate against customers and don't berate them for walking in the door! I left and went to my favorite private contractor, who was to be open for another hour yet! Look I know these people have lives of their own and I know it was near the holidays, but that is no excuse for being punitive toward customers and I will permanently take my business elsewhere!! read more

This post office was awful!! The old lady with the short bleached hair was so rude when I asked any questions. She tried to charge me for the most expensive shipping option and when I asked if that was my only option she was so rude. I did my best to be super polite and ask what I needed to do to ship my box. First off, this particular post office looks like it belongs in the ghetto... The countertops and glass displays are barely hanging on. I remember when there were displays and respect at a post office. Not anymore, Bryon the twat behind the counter, was incredibly rude. I literally was appalled by his attitude and his manner at being extremely rude. I had questions and he kept making rude remarks and when I would say something, he'd be sarcastic. Have a house in 73112 zip area. It is empty and I keep removing mail from the past renters for over 5 years. I write on the envelopes "Return to Sender" or "RTS" circled near the return address and draw a line through the house address with a note "not at this address" or "never lived at this address". To my dismay I am finding the MARKED MAIL being redelivered to the same house. This is first class business mail, some of it from the US Government. What part of NOT AT THIS ADDRESS or RETURN TO SENDER does he not understand. The carrier who sorts his own mail for his route and marks VACANT on the slots for the Vacant Houses, I know this because when they got mad at one of my renters the carrier at that time marked the house VACANT before he went on vacation and they didn't get any mail until I called the Manager of the Post Office, he didn't want to check at first but when I insisted he check the slot and saw what the carrier had done. You can call the Manager of that post office and if you do not get satisfaction then call the Main Post Office and ask to speak to the Post Master (There is more than one) over that area. Tell them that you started at the bottom and worked up to them. Good Luck! I have to call them again now myself. NEW INFORMATION Turned in more mail with a bold notice VACANT HOUSE banded to them.
