(causing a small…read morewait time) As about 6 customers waited in line patiently , there was a truly horrible, unkind, miserable woman who verbally attacked the staff because she had to wait. She even verbally attacked a young woman and her children. The staff handled her with grace and professionalism. We were all cringing at the abusive woman and I hope the staff had a much more positive day. They deserved a medal! Hopefully this isn't something they have to deal with on a daily basis. When the line is long, I always get an apology when I get to the clerk and I get out within 15 minutes. Every person with whom I have interacted at this post office has been friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. If you are not sure which special stamps are in stock, you can always look at their display box by the line. It has all of the stamps available. Today I bought a sheet of lunar new year snake stamps and lunar new year horse stamps. They will be gifts to babies born in those years for the first birthday that they can write a thank you letter!

We talked tats & everything random. Of course I was the only customer in this adorable tiny post office. There are two service registers, but I'm unsure if there were two employees on the clock. I noticed the newer (& larger) available PO Boxes outside for those wanting to pick up their mail after hours. I stupidly had not insured the return package, but I did lose the receipt. Catherine, head postal worker here, went through 3 days of receipts to locate my initial transaction, & (without me asking) gave me a printed copy of it & proof my package was received two days after I mailed it. And they helped me have the best post office experience I've had in my life. I had several packages to send and they were patient and soooooo kind. The post office is on USF's campus but it's open for anyone and since snail mail is somewhat of a lost art on the ~youth~ I have to presume this location probably doesn't get tooooooo busy. They also have plenty of parking spots available (no parking permit needed). USF's USPS is the ultimate life hack. You're welcome.
