Just my own experience. Folks were very helpful, not only to me, but what I observed with other customer interactions. Agents behind the counter were taking the time to explain what folks could expect, lower priced alternate options. I was pretty impressed and surprised based on their current rating. I did not just drop off mail, I had received a package from Europe and the product was damaged. They went through the entire process of what I could expect, completed the form 3831 I needed to give the sender for my refund. They informed me they would take control of the package, one less thing to deal with for me. The entire time, no one acted like they were being "put out", just very courteous and helpful. read more

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. We were trying to civilly talk to Gloria (a hispanic lady) who works for passports and she completely jumped at us! She was screaming and yelling at us while we were trying to ask questions. Mind you, we've been waiting since 6:30 AM with no one here (it's supposed to be first come first serve.) 9AM rolls around, and 4 people randomly appear and get in first. IF YOURE COMING IN FOR A WALK IN, COME AT 5 AM AND SIGN A PAPER TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT. THEY ONLY TAKE 4 PEOPLE Maurice Miller, was also spiteful and rude. I've been trying for a couple years now to get my mailman to put my oversized packages on my front porch. I've called the Post Office and talked to James Stanton. was told the can't do anything to get him to follow my instructions cause he's in the union! My first time having to go to this post office and I just want to commend the nice worker Peggy ! She was very professional and sweet . You rarely come across post office workers who seem to have a good attitude but I really appreciate her service to me . The best part was laughing at the mad rooster that was stuck inside a box . At the end of the day this post office is one word - convenient. No matter if it's horrible or wonderful; it's easy to get to and parking is always available. Service... that depends on the kind of day that they're having. I always end up with the frisky one that either wants to play a round and joke for 10 mins (which is 8 minutes longer than I need to be there) or the pissed off one that wants to ask you a million questions about what you're sending out. I would say on the rare occasions i get the chatty Cathy but it seems like the days I REALLY need to get in and out that's the one I get or the one that forgets how to calibrate the machine and then has to restart the whole system and .. ya so that's just my dumb luck and I get to tell you about it. =) thanks for reading lol This place is perfect.. you drive, park, jump out, ship your stuff and leave what else can you ask for. =) read more

It's pretty tough to get excited about a Post Office, unless we're talking about the amazing Post Office at Tampa International Airport. This particular Post Office is functional even though everyone (customers and employees) seems to move at a snail's pace. You'll find this US Post Office at the intersection of N. Dale Mabry Highway and Ehrlich Road, right behind the Macaroni Grill. I needed to mail off an overnight proposal, and so I stood in line with the sea of humanity that was returning items that they'd purchased through various online retailers, as well as those who wanted to look through the available first class stamps to pick out the pretty ones to use on birthday cards. I'm thinking that the Post Office needs to implement some kind of TSA Pre-Check lane for those of us who just want something simple, and promise not to take up a lot of the clerk's time. I kid you not, I had to stand there and listen to stories about ladies buying things online and then discovering that what they received in the mail is not what they expected, and so of course they wanted to send it back. "But why should I have to pay if I am refusing acceptance of the package? Well, yes, of course I opened the package. How else was I supposed to know what was inside? Yes, the envelope is a bit torn up, but can't you just wrap it up in tape and send it back to them? It's their fault.....Shouldn't they get arrested for false advertising????" But then of course they didn't have the proper mailing label filled out, so I got to listen to the entire life history of the customer and the clerk while I waited for them to get the label completed and decide on the best method of shipment. When it was finally my turn, I handed the clerk the overnight mailer (already sealed up) with the label already completed, and waited for her to ring up the total before swiping my debit card, punching in the code, saying thank you and walking out. Clearly many of the other people standing in line were there ready to carry on a lengthy conversation with the postal clerks. I don't get it..... has the Post Office become the last vestige for little old ladies in Carrollwood that can't afford therapy??? Next time I'll drive down to the airport Post Office. read more

The one redeeming quality of this post office is the automated machine. This is usually how I roll. They used to have 2 but now it's only one. I had batches of promos to send out to clients and have to repeatedly answer same silly questions. Is it a large envelope, do they contain illegal substances. Um, really? Anyway, it's ok for a few packages or envelopes but when you have many, it gets to be redundant. I then had to answer other customers question on how to use it. Helped out the two clueless customers behind me thinking, if you can't follow instructions, head to that long line of people waiting to talk to humans. Here they will listen to your tale of woes while us impatient people would like to get in and move on with our lives. read more

Are the 34 cent post cards stamps ever arriving to the USPS branch locations? For days now, I have been calling 3 local branches and they STILL do not have them in. I called today and AGAIN was told that the 34 cent stamps have not arrived. When I ask 'when will they be arriving?', I always receive the same robotic answer "I do not know" . Well can someone be proactive and pick up their phone and call someone to find out when they will be arriving?!!. When I asked the man at the post office as to when they ordered the stamps, he said a while back when the postage changed. How ridiculous is this??? Ok, what is so unique & cool about a post offic? Usually nothing! This post office is no exception. It is usually quite busy & sees many patrons in a day. I know I have Deen stuck holding the door open far to long. Parking is usually sufficient, just be careful, people tend to be in a hurry & not really watching. Thankfully I seldom have occasion to go to a Post Office. I am one of those that would take 4 day mail service in a heartbeat, but not my decision What's a girl to do? Who reviews a post office? A person that has to wait in line for 30 minutes. EACH TIME they come. This place seriously needs some more employees. There's 11 people in line and one person working. Each time I've spent about an hour on what should've been a 15 minute trip. I'm done, never again. read more

The staff, one lady in particular, was extremely rude. I wasn't aware that the post office closed at 2pm. The hours are not posted on both sets of doors - only one. So at 1:58 I entered the building to buy some stamps. There was a gate that was pulled half way closed, so I peaked my head in to address the woman behind the counter who was still helping customers. I said," excuse me ma'am, but what time are you closed?" There's no need to exaggerate how polite I was - I'm this way with everyone in customer service that has not proved they don't deserve respect. The lady yelled back," MA'AM WE ARE CLOSED! That's why the gate is closed." I said," I'm sorry I wasn't aware, what time are you closed today?" She said," The hours are posted on the front door and if you can't read, I suggest you figure out another way. But if you don't leave, I'm going to call the police and have you removed." Mind you, there was an elderly lady behind me and we were both confused as to why she was so hostile over nothing. Bottom line, you shouldn't treat people this way - especially if they've given you no reason. I've been disturbed about this, so I decided to write a review. read more

Self-service kiosk for packages is always down every single time I go in there Ive gone in there three times this week trying to mail out something before work & the line did not move within 10 minutes of me being there. So I've had to leave multiple times due to not having 30 minutes to send out one package. I've also been double charged for envelopes that I previously purchased and used to mail things out frequently, multiple times. read more

I have to gives the guys and gals at this location 5 stars today. I went in with 3 large boxes that I planned on mailing to a soldier today. As I entered the facility, a very friendly employee, that was working the Passport counter, took me back and helped me immediately with my task. By far the worst Post Office that I have ever had to deal with. Customer service is extremely rude, and the mail-person who delivers mail in my neighborhood screws up deliveries of mail too many times. I called them to discuss a packaged that this mail person stated as being delivered, which I received an alert about, that was never delivered to me. The customer service lady had to contact the mail person to turn around and resolve this matter, which thankfully they did, but I was never informed this was resolved until I checked my mailbox. Also, this is not the first time this Post Office stated that an order of mine was delivered, and I never received it. I have never been concerned about my packages/mail being successfully delivered to any place that I've lived, until moving to this Post Office's zip code area. Anyway, as I was trying to explain to the customer service lady that this issue wasn't the first time, she proceeded to rudely and abruptly talk over me and rush me off the phone, then hung up. I'm thankful that I finally received my order, but am extremely upset that I had to call the Post Office for a matter that should never have occurred, and that the person whom I spoke to was provided rude customer service to me. I've had issues in the past with this Post Office and their Passport clerk, which I see others have had the same horrible experience with, and I'm surprised she's still employed there. Something needs to be immediately done to improve this Post Office, and the mail-people whom deliver mail for them, as we as customers should not be nervous that our mail will incorrectly be sent to the wrong address, hoping they will bring it to us, or having the wrong house's mail be placed in our mailbox, as what has also happened to me. read more

I can't say I visit post offices very often and when I do, it is usually just to use the Automated Machines in the lobby. I love these things - so easy and very often no wait. However, there seems to be a trend in only loading ugly stamps in these machines. It may be silly but I need pretty stamps. You gotta find your happy where you can and pretty stamps make me happy as I am toiling over sending out bills. It can be pretty depressing to watch all your money disappear in little envelopes but some pretty stamps make it a little less painful. On my most recent visit, I was waiting in line to get some stamps with anything but plain old flags. There were five to six people in line and one of the managers came out and assisted anyone who was picking up packages or had questions about what mailer/paperwork was needed. He kindly tried to steer me towards the machine to buy stamps, but I declined and voiced my need for pretty stamps. This got a chuckle out of him and a few folks in line. Hey, all Forever stamps cost the same and I just want pretty ones, m'kay? The staff was friendly and efficient and I'd say my lovely water lily stamps were totally worth 10 minutes of wait. I can't believe how many times the mail has gotten sent to the wrong person. I work at an apartment community and we are constantly receiving calls that resident's mail has not been delivered or they have received something that isn't there's. We are a business and expecting CHECKS & I am looking at the tracking--it's been left in a completely different area code! I respect rhe workers, I'm sure they are all in over their heads and working hard. But when the address is written on the front of the letter, why is nothing getting delivered properly? read more

The employees are really friendly and helpful. There is a passport office in the building, that 's a plus. There are two problems I have with this location. 1) it is difficult and sometimes down right dangerous to get in and out of there as the traffic is always busy at this strip mall 2) there needs to be a drive up mail box, which can be an easy fix by just moving the present big blue mail boxes closer to the drive way.
