45 min. and no person answered. The 800 number is a recording that continually say sorry I didn't get that. Mail is stuffed into mailbox even when directions say deliver to front door. Mail for neighbors delivered with my mail. I use a walker and it is difficult for me to get to mailbox so neighbors mail goes back to be sent. Very poor service. 95% of the people are awesome here. I know its a tough environment to work in.. However when you hire new younger Gen Z employees they should be told they are civil servants and to treat the tax payers that are responsible for their income w respect. This isnt a place for a power trip. You have a younger newer young lady that works the counter that needs an attitude adjustment!!! She was rude to me bringing in Priority mail boxes insisting I have a "manifest"!!!. That aint happening. Then she was extremely rude to an immigrant couple next to me that didnt speak good English and needed help. This makes my blood boil!! Either train her how to deal w human beings or get rid of her. Long brown hair in pony tail Wed before closing. Post Office has been under a huge microscope to decades. No one wants to deal w a female Gen Z attitude that cant control herself. This is your typical US Post Office. What do I mean? Sometimes it is crowded, sometimes it isn't. Sometimes it is clean, sometimes it looks like a cardboard distribution center. Sometimes the employees are helpful and in a great mood and sometimes they aren't. The one thing this location has going for them is that they've never lost a package I've sent. Yet. This is one of my closest post offices in the Lutz area and one I've already visited several times. Its a pretty regular sized post office, you'll find a ton of PO boxes for rent, a self service kiosk, and usually 1 or 2 clerks at the registers. I usually visit during off hours so I'm not really sure how busy this one gets but the lines haven't been that long-especially when you see the manager going down the line, scanning packages by hand, and helping out with quick shipping issues, that was pretty awesome. And so far all my packages have been scanned in rather quickly and shipped off to the right locations. The only issue I have with this post office is going through the PO box entry closest to the parking lot as it always smells like urine (pretty gross!). I just hold my nose with one hand and my mail in the other. read more

Very little wonder why the USPS is flirting with insolvency and embracing bankruptcy! They have TOTALLY forgotten what "customer service" is. Just dropped off important license renewal to Lutz, Fl USPS----even though I dread this specific post office. I had clerk weigh my envelope to be certain my one "Forever" stamp was sufficient; which it was. I then asked if I could take a cell pic after she cancelled my stamp.....to which she rudely and crassly refused! She stated "that is a service the USPS sells"....since she is "the only clerk" in any branch that has been so uppity to suggest my stamp didn't include a cell pic! In leaving I mentioned I understood why the USPS was on brink of failure---she kept babbling replies to me even as I passed through the door! Rude. And she "works" for me; my taxes (and postage) pay her bloated salary! This branch cannot even control the mail delivery at my home! Even though I've filled out numerous forms and given them to carrier.....and carrier affixed a list of "only three names" of mail to be delivered....I still get 5-10 pieces of mail weekly from previous occupants! If either "you or me" performed our appointed tasks so poorly, we'd be dismissed! Wish I could fire the entire USPS! I will attempt more online mail to hasten their demise..... read more

I really hope your mail isn't coming from here they repeatedly lose it, deliver to the wrong address and then do nothing to correct it.

Many postal drivers out sick with Covid, after spreading germs through entire communities. This post office was not enforcing masks by employees or customers long before the vaccines were available. No wonder their employees are sick, including the vaccinated ones. read more

Laurie is extremely rude and condescending. this is now the second time i've come here, and she was my clerk both times and was very unpleasant to deal with each time. I mean seriously... i'm coming simply to mail something... i don't need to get the vibe that you are pissed that i'm there and making you do your job. She was clearly talking to the person next to her about me as I walked up since I came in a few minutes before 6... proceeded to tell me that only priority delivery was available... and I ended up taking my package and leaving because I just didn't trust that my parcel would make it without getting lost. She ACTUALLY told me to hand write my address on a BLACK box... and then when i asked her how the mail person would even read the address if I'm writing on a black box.. she literally shrugged and was clearly pissed off that I was standing there and asking such a question. She said it was "not her problem". I mean wtf kind of treatment is that for any customer... but the USPS? She also said "i don't know what you want, we are trying to close" ... keep in mind, the time was literally in their normal business hours (5:54pm) which was obviously why they were glaring at me as I walked in. I asked where the sticker was to write the address on and she said "whatever's out there is what we have available". She refused to help me and i'm appalled that USPS would employ someone that literally ruined my day on two separate occasions .. for no reason other than that I made her have to do her job. I'm going to avoid this location at all costs because I just can't put myself through another experience like this again when I'm just a customer trying to render services. read more

just took a return in and asked to use some tape to tape my return and the guy was rude and told me to go to the dollar store for tape. every other usps location has been friendly and accommodating except this location. horrible staff with poor customer service skills. read more

There is a woman who works at this post office who is just awful. She speaks to customers as though we're beneath her, is condescending, and is just flat out nasty. Instead of explaining that my prepaid label had a mistake, she tells me that I am "stealing from the post office." Instead of attempting to help me fix the situation, she states "you can take this home and fix it." I didn't catch her name but it begins with an "L." After she spoke to me and made her snide remarks, I told her I would take my package home, fix it, and ship it through one of their competitors that have better customer service. She ended our encounter with "I'm a federal employee and I have your address." Employees like her are why USPS are estimated to lose 300 million dollars in 2019 and its employees like her that continue to make USPS lowbrow. I'll be at UPS and FedEx for shipping. read more

I was there 2 weeks ago where I was able to return items that allows usps to print the label to put it on your package if there is a barcode on your phone to scan. My father went for me this week to do so with the barcode and the lady turned him away stating he needed to print it from home and bring the package. This was very rude and racist (my father speaks with an accent). I'll now be going to the post office myself and have this taken care of. read more

This is the absolute worst US Post Office I have ever walked into. They try their hardest to NOT serve you. If they can find a way to get out of work, they will. I was sent to three different people (in a post office that measures about 20'x20'!!) before I was told they couldn't help me. Outrageous. Hope you get either Erick or William, or better yet, go to another PO. It is easy to see, with employees like these, why the US Postal Service is getting mauled by UPS and FedEx. read more

I've had so many packages go gone since I moved to Lutz. They either disappear completely or magically show up weeks later. I live in an apartment complex and the delivery employee leaves the back of the mailboxes, where bulk mail is separated into individual apartments, open and you can only close it with a key. So even if you notice the door open, thereby exposing everyone's mail, there's nothing you can do. Terrible. Probably a little thing to the employee but I paid for these packages and would like to see tracking telling me a package has been delivered and it's actually there!! read more
