This is my home post office although there are 2 other post offices within 2 miles of where I live. Not their fault. My issue is that I have the direct line to this post office because I always have issues with my mail. I travel frequently for work so I often do a temporary forward so my mailbox doesn't fill up. Every time that I come home I don't get mail for at least a month until I drive to the post office and complain. I don't want to but I need my mail/packages. Several times the mail person has put a vacant notice in my box. So now I have personally spoken to the manager and still have same issues or something else. Now we don't have a dedicated mail person and when you have a package that needs signature they leave a notice. I've tried signing and state please leave package. I've done online please redeliver on next day. No package. Call the direct line. Oh its sitting right here. Why aren't you redelivering my package? I took off work just to be here. Nobody has any answers when I go up there. In this era of Covid-19 I'm waiting for 30+ min and they only allowing 3 folks in at a time. They don't want us there. I don't want to be here. Told the desk person the situation. She said do you want our direct number if that happens again?. Lol. What a joke read more

Your hours State you are open until 1:30pm. When I arrive at 1:10pm, your doors are closed and your employee just stares. If you close at 1:00pm, cool, then state that. Also, every time I come to this location the customer service stinks too! read more

I trained in the toledo office for the last week in September before resigning. It's now November 17th and I still have not received a check for my hours worked. I've contacted several different people several different times only to hear them say I was accidentally taken out of the system is why I didn't get paid. If you're lucky neither employee will be on break and if you're truly lucky they'll have completed the training to actually complete the task. Best hope you do t get the old lady. Had to find a post office to mail some things to a client. A friend recommended this one. It's located behind the mega 24 hour Kroger's on Holland-Sylvania. Easy to get in and out of, the staff was friendly and helpful. As I got a stamp booklet and a card as well, the associate remarked that she didn't even have to ask me to add anything! If you've ever had a problem leaving a post office ( the one in Canton, MI., comes to mind), you will appreciate how easy it is to get back on the road! read more

It's pretty much everything you would want out of a parcel service. Tips on Foursquare cited poor customer service, but I'm pretty sure there's no air conditioning in that building. It's hot in the summer, so I would be cranky standing there all day like that too. As long as you have half a brain and understand the simplicity of a parcel service, there's really no hold up and no reason the line can't move quickly. Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes are definitely a nice addition to the USPS services. It's best if you're shipping something long distance and heavy, which could really push the standard price up. Otherwise, sending anything under 2 or 3 pounds is almost always cheaper in your own recycled box. (Most grocery stores are nice enough to give you used boxes for free.) Prepaid labels online make the process much simpler too. read more

My postal worker smashed a gift into a small box I have. I reported it and someone tried to return a call to me at 9pm. I was working, I've since then and for 2.5 weeks now been trying to get back in touch with someone to get this resolved and nothing to avail. A) What a freaking lazy postal worker B) Why would someone try to contact me so late at night? C) Why wouldn't you do a follow up call and try again to get in touch with me? This is my neighborhood post office, the one where my letter carrier works from. I find the staff to generally be very nice and efficient. However, lines do get long at some times of the day. If you want to avoid lines go mid morning or AFTER the lunch hour, but not too close to closing time. The only problem I have is that I never know if my mail will be delivered at noon, 4:30 pm, or somewhere in between. Seems to change every few weeks. read more

If I could leave a review for zero stars I would. I was canceled through via email... again from the franklin park location and directed for a walk in appointment at the location off Alexis, in post office way. I got to the location and was greeted by a male who gestured that the one lady currently making passports is the only one doing them and I need to go somewhere else. Then she reiterated that she has a two hour lunch coming up after her current appointment. Mind you it was 8:30 a.m. so I laughed at her and walked out. I will try to avoid shipping with this company at all costs, or at least this location. read more

This location got a self-service but never ever boxes or envelopes stocked so what's the point having a self check out!!!! this is going on 3 weeks straight now and I had enough of it!!!! Well let's go check the Sylvania branch now because they have the same issue as well as the monroe street! I'm creating an account just to leave this review. Worst post office in Toledo. Employees are rude and slow, and it's obvious they care only about working until their shift is over and then leaving. Even if there are 15 people still in line, they will punch out and leave. No regard for creating a friendly and efficient post office. If you see many cars in the parking lot, leave and go to another post office. It will be quicker, I promise. read more

If I could give them minus 5 stars I would. The incompetence of the workers defies all belief, it really does. If you are posting a package, quite a big package too, and the old person behind the counter registers it as a letter, then they should be made to retire because they clearly can't do the job. And then all the other members of staff I have been in touch with all state that its a letter too, I feel like I must have alzheimers coming on, because it was defintely a package. I mean, it had a big teddy bear in it! And it cost 22.00 dollars to post. Who pays 22.00 dollars to post a letter. The sign says they close at 1:30... Got there at 1:25 and the door was locked. There were other people in line, but I wasn't good enough for them apparently because they wouldn't let me in, even though it wasn't 1:30 yet.
