Long lines and no change of address forms were available. I left without any service.

Went in to get a card to have my mail forwarded while I was out of the country. Though they are supposed to have these cards out on the counters, there were none to be found. The line for the counters was literally out the door with probably over 20 people in it. I did not try to butt into line but just asked politely if the cards were available. The counterperson snapped at me to get back in line! I have bad knees and gout. I only wanted a simple 2 second answer. His attitude was terrible and I have noted that below there are also comments about this person since he does the passports. Luckily, an elderly lady heard my request and she asked the person assisting her to give her the application card which she gave to me. She was also upset with this man's attitude. I have seen it before. I filled out the form and took it down the road to a small village that has another post office. There was just one person working there and she said she KNEW who I was referring to and that she has worked in Zephyrhills in the past and that this guy was well known for treating customers and colleagues in a rude and curt manner. I felt much better knowing that it was just me. When I next to to the post office, I will make sure I do not have to deal with this sad representative of the USPS. The man, Jeff, handling passports should be fired. It is a disgrace they even have someone like that working for them. Checked reviews and he had a complaint months ago. A lady in the post office stated she avoids his line every time she comes there because he's awful to people. I just experienced the worst customer service and interaction. I have alot of love for Veterans but he really has some deep rooted things he obviously needs to work through because the way he treats people. I am filing with corporate of what happened today. Very bad service. Sent my granddaughter a CD of her fathers funeral as he was murdered. UNFORTUNATELY the PO lost it. It is priceless. It cannot be replaced. The Aviation post office in Brooksville, Fl, should be closed down, has 2 rating, and is worst in existence. For starters they never answer their phone, 8 straight hours, as soon as manager leaves, they do not answer phone, or take off hook. Their mail carriers, have bankers hours, take off whenever they want without pentaly, it had been a great post office, but since Peggy has not been there for years, has gone from 5 to 1. Fortunately have not had problems with mail or pick up packages, it is just they do not have anyone really to train the new sub carriers, on scanning packages, which ends up costing $$$. Please close this PO and give our area to Spring Hill, PO, they answer their phones and help with problems. read more

This post office does not receive enough credit for all that they do. Every time I have had an issue, I receive a friendly call & we get everything sorted out, or at least explained to where I feel better about the situation. Most of the issues that this post office has is not its fault and I feel for the workers and mail carriers. This post office services SEVEN, 7 different zip codes. This means they're taking mail and packages outside of their own town and having to deal with traffic and other things. Unfortunately they have to wait for Congress to approve post offices in other areas, such as Wesley Chapel, an area that is huge and needs its own post office. And then since this post office is forced to service so many areas, of course the wait lines are long in the office, because so many people from all over are having to come in (many of whom could use other services). I don't blame the postal workers for having to be firm/assertive in their answers, because they do deal with a lot of angry and frustrated customers and a lot of things are out of their hands. Everyone needs to send a letter to Congress on this issue, so we can get this solved for everyone. We have been personally having an issue with packages, but we were informed that they're working on the issue & I do believe that, that is true & will personally choose patience and kindness, which I hope others will do too. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Understaffed, huge line, to start things off. Man handling passports proceeded to make comments about the "big hair" that would "barely fit in the photo" of the African American person ahead of us. Also repeatedly told all of us to replace a stool "where we found it" and when we could not do that because it was apparently already out of place when we arrived , he continued to act like we were deliberately defying his directions. Once it was our turn, the same man argued with us about the clearly stated government rules regarding passport documentation, and when I noted those rules he said "Oh, are you a passport agent now?" He refused to accept my sons still valid passport as proof of citizenship or as a photo ID because he was younger looking on his passport than he is now - and despite having both hos birth certificate with both parents names and my own Drivers License matching the name on the birth certificate he refused to process the application for my 16 yr old. Argued that a 16 yr old should have a drivers license etc, even though he's a minor and it's not a legal requirement. So after waiting over an hour, and having a verbal altercation with this man who clearly decided he was just going to be a jerk about the entire process, we left. I did come back after reviewing travel.state.gov to ask him for clarification and he thumbed through a rule book but couldn't find the rules to show me- and then asked if I'd like to see a different passport agent. When I said yes he pointed to a sign on the wall directing me to the DMV (which was at this point close to closing). Then he asked why I didn't make an appt, and I told him because they are all during the school day...he told me normal parents take their kids out of school to process passport applications. Pardon me for valuing my son's education and believing he needs to actually be in school. By the end of all of this he said "fine. I'll process your application and when it gets rejected you can deal with it." By this point I was very clear that I would not trust him with any aspect of this process. He seemed offended that I didn't find him trustworthy. I did call the local library and speak to the passport agent there. She told me that a valid passport issued to a minor is all you need to process an application for a new passport once they are 16. And even if there was any question, my ID as his legal guardian was all the supplemental identification needed. Steer clear of this location if you want to be treated kindly or with decent customer service. read more

Horrible customer service. This post office held my package and would not ship it for a reason that is unknown to me. A lady called me ( i didn't get her name but i wish i did) and let me know that my package would be 100% shipped out on 11/25 but that i had other mail that was held there that needed to be picked up and i informed her i didn't have time that day but i needed my package delivered. She assured me it was on the way and I would receive it that day. After waiting all day and no package, I called on 11/26 while they were "closed" and the same lady picked up and told me that even though she said my package was being delivered on 11/25, the truck had already left at that point and i would need to pick it up on 11/27. Passport services are annoying, not only appointments take forever but the process specially if you loose your passport is PAINFUL to drive all the way where the appointment was and meet the most RUDE guy ever. This message is directed to the Postmaster at the Zephyrhill Branch Post Office that my husband and I visited today with little hope of retrieving our original birth certificates that were mailed from Canada with an insufficient address. Jeff the associate who served us informed us that there was little chance of retrieving our documents since the street name was missing from the envelope but agreed to "take a look". The lineup was growing longer as we waited during his search and I was feeling guilty for taking so much of his time (at least 5+ minutes). The friend who mailed us the certificates did not even include a return address; we had little hope the envelope would even be at your PO. Fortunately for us Jeff knew where to look for undeliverable mail. He was definitely our hero today for taking the time to assist a couple of desperate Canadian snowbirds. Kudos and many thanks for going over and above with his patience and service skills. A " 1 Star" rating is for too high for this Post Office. They are very inept at customer service - as there is none! I have been calling for some time today & I get a recorded message & then it stays on the line to be answered by an operator. After ten to 20 rings it simply hangs up - I am guessing that they expect you to stop trying. I was expecting 2 packages yesterday (08/21/2023). They were delivered! But just because it will go in the front of the locked box doesn't mean it can be removed from the back of the box! I went to the Post just after 3 PM yesterday & they were apologetic & would notify the carrier to go remove the packages & deliver them to my home. I am still waiting now at 2:30 PM 08/22/2023 & they are still not answering the phone. This Post Office branch has no regard for its customers. It starts with the leadership; if they show disregard then the line workers will follow suit. Thank goodness I am moving back to my home state. Reported it and they say- we have no idea what happened, keep waiting. They stole the checks- and then four days later they stole a tiny package from Amazon. They steal and then play dumb. If I could leave zero stars I would. We had our second attempt at a passport appt for our daughter here. The first one was cancelled without notice. This one we arrived on time, waited in a long line. It was 7 min past our appt time when it was our turn at the counter. The rude woman told us we were too late and our appt time had past even though we were there in line. We kept our baby up past nap time for this and she couldn't be more rude and less accommodating. Well first of all, I have made multiple trips to this post office to resolve the fact that I should be on the payroll because of all the mail I have to redeliver. although it has improved some since my last visit, it still occurs at least once a week. I had a prescription plan that if I did mail order medications, they cost me nothing. I opted to pay out of pocket because I knew I stood about a 50% chance of actually receiving my medication. I've wondered how much mail sent to me that I don't even know about because someone else received it. Now to add insult to injury I just got a note in my box that my mail is on hold for 10 days for no reason whatsoever. read more

This is the worst location. Constantly loos my packages and then not answering their phones. It's a hassle to try and get my packages back to my location. If you can help it, do not use usps if you are in this area. Pay the extra money for fed ex or ups. Update: had to come get my package. Again. Lady at the counter is rude and acts like she can't stand her job. My boyfriend also had a package that was not delivered. He works weekdays and can't come get it. We have the same address. He was on the phone with one of the ladies and they won't give me his package. No slip was given in our mail box at all for his package. This place is just ran by idiots. Monkeys could do a better job. Also, a neighbor of mine happened to be behind me in line. Same exact thing for her. Husband didn't get a slip, the wife can't pick up his either. 8/17/2020 Just got home and checked the mail because I saw the mail lady there. Now all of a sudden that missing slip was in my mail box (the only thing in there) and was dated "8/14". I know for a fact I have checked my mail since then. And today is the 17th. I feel like most post offices these days have awful customer service but this one tops them all. One kind employee out of all of them. One woman knocked over all my passport paperwork and didn't even pick it up just walked away saying sorry and left me to sort it all out. One man came over and scolded my kid for stepping up on part of the lower counter. I asked my kid to get down and did right away and the man just stood there. When I told him we were good now he stood there and told us for the safety of everyone he was going to stand there now. They put the wrong address on my form for my passport. Thank goodness I'm a semi control freak and checked all of her work. I have my fingers, toes, and eyes crossed they did my passport stuff correctly...for real... I will never return to this location. Passport guy Jeff is the rudest person I have ever met. Simply despicable human being in the way he treated my daughter and my 7-month-old granddaughter when applying for a passport. He was extremely hostile. He questioned why my daughter had a baby at age 18.  He made us wait almost an hour past our appointment time and refused to take the photo of the baby while she was awake. He waits until she fell asleep and forces us to wake her and takes the photo while she is wailing uncontrollably and makes a smart comment about "can't have tears in the picture." Then he mocks my daughter and her naturally curly hair and forces her to pull it back, even though she met passport photo standards. He mocked her writing of her name and questioned her ability to learn cursive. I could go on and on about this horrendous experience. He displayed some type of prejudice towards us as being non-white customers. For the record, we had all of our paperwork complete and printed out. There is no excuse for a federal worker to display this type of behavior. He tried to sabotage her appointment, and he succeeded. I do not recommend this post office at all. This post office has no accountability whatsoever. AGAIN they have either lost our mail or delivered it to the wrong address. I am sick of hearing about COVID being the cause unless the postal worker delivering the mail is suffering COVID and still delivering mail while feverish and delusional. This is lack of attention, lack of job pride and outright carelessness. All I know is...someone has our name, address and credit card information due to our incompetent carriers.
