I've had ongoing issues with this post office and it's become extremely frustrating. I've tried multiple times to get my address corrected, and each time I'm told it's a "system" or "computer" issue--but the problem never actually gets resolved. Not only has my address been repeatedly entered incorrectly, but they also mishandled both my mail forwarding and my mother's. These are basic services that should be handled with accuracy and care, yet there seems to be a consistent lack of understanding or follow-through from the staff. At this point, it feels less like a one-time mistake and more like a pattern of poor training or lack of attention to detail. I would strongly recommend improving staff knowledge and accountability so customers aren't left dealing with ongoing errors that affect something as important as their mail. I went here to drop off a package at ten A.M. and there was no line and the man at the counter was really nice and they said my package would arrive within like four days which is really optimal and what I was looking for. So I would definitely recommend going to this location. I love the United States Postal Service. read more

The only thing I'll say is, go early, and have everything already as ready as it can be because the line can get long. They have the self service machine which I really love, but then there are days I need to borrow their tape so I have to wait LOL. The young lady at the counter is very knowledgeable and pretty quick -- it's usually her by herself for a little while in the mornings and she gets them in and out swiftly. Awful. Customer service with imperious attitude, eye rolling and general behavior typical of entitled government who employees who are not great at their job, which is actually easier than working at Publix. These people are paid well to sell stamps and print labels. Yet I watched as they snapped at people, made demeaning expressions, made an elderly severely handicapped customer wait and wait and then were unable to assist him effectually with a simple form (change of address). Terrible, paid to have an envelope overnighted from here to Utah, it arrived 7 days later. Requested a refund since they fucked me over, of course they have to mail me a check for the refund. Post office may be past technology for communication since email, social media, web base advertising is very convenient. We like to support our post office as much as possible to keep the door open. This post office has walk in counter for mailing, packaging, registered mail, money order and more. When the line get longer, the window of the counter open. There is automated counter outside that you can buy stamp and mail. This self service station is easy to use. It also have paid copy machine if you need a photo copy. I hope this post office keep open and serve the people here. read more

Went in to get a renewal on the kids passports. There was a line of people waiting to do the same thing. Probably about 20+ people. Good thing I had made an appointment. We literally walked in, signed our name in the book, sat down, and 3 minutes later were being helped. Much to the chagrin of all the people waiting there for what must have been an hour. They just can't get delivery of a small package right! Got e-mail on Thu saying package undeliverable so go to post office to pick it up. Friday morning drive 20 minutes and stood in line for 20 minutes to collect package. I was told to go back home as the package was delivered to my mailbox at 11:15 Fri. I really love the location of this post office. It's in such a beautiful area and it's a little bit hidden. So make sure you know where you're going and are familiar with the area. A lot of times I have packages but I need to send in this place makes it convenient because if it's pre-posted and it has its return label I can just put it in that box outside. This is the WORST post office ever. From the mailmen leaving the community mailboxes open and not locking them back to them consistently losing your packages. I've tried calling them 4 different times in the past hour to ask about missing mail, and it just rings and rings until it hangs up - idk if that's how their phone system works or if they're just declining the call. Great experience at this post office. They have it where you can get your passport, drop off packages without getting out your car, and pick boxes if needed. It never packers like 11am or 330. I usually drop my packages off these times. read more

My major complaint is that you can't speak to a live person at USPS. I was emailed that a package was delivered to my mailbox at a specific time on the day it was to be delivered. It was not. I got it the next day with another package. How does a carrier get away with this? Very easily I guess because you can't lodge a complaint so the carrier can lie and say something was delivered when it was not. USPS you have got to hold your carriers accountable! read more

Absolutely the worst post office there is. I've had a very important package be sent back to the sender because they would not drop it off at the front office of the apartment complex. I work in St Pete and went to the USPS to ask them to help, they gave me this post offices number where my package is and I have called them 25 times in the past 4 hours with no response. If you're wondering it's actually cheaper to get your picture taken at Walgreens and send in all the forms yourself and send it in yourself. I am going to attempt to write a review about the post office. It's really simple it says it all in the name. You got to mail things, buy stamps and occasionally pick up a package. This particular post office always has a long line. It's kind of like Walmart (because of the number of check out counters and the number of counters open) a little it has 6 registers and only two are ever open. Do not expect anything to happen quickly at the post office remember it is a government facility. read more

We are new to the area. If the postman doesn't have mail for us they don't bother to stop. Forget we are a business and we have outgoing mail. I know that our regular postman has put a note in the box but I guess others can't read. USPS should not make a person who is receiving a package feel like they did something wrong, when it was a USPS mistake. I did nothing but order a package from a company, and was supposed to pick up my package from USPS store in Tampa (Bruce B downs BLVD). Again, I did no shipping nor package negotiating as I was not the one sending the package. - This shipment was for a live Praying Mantis exotic pet (unusual but a living creature none the less). I looked up my package after waiting 2 days for it to arrive in Tampa by using my shipping number on the USPS website. When I saw the tracking status, it seemed like the package was "out in transit" or something of that nature. The website said it already made it to the post office earlier in the day, and the package was successfully sorted... I could not figure out why it would say that about my package. I called up the office, and after having to call back multiple times, and taking up to twenty minutes in total to hear about where the package is, I started to get confused. - I even asked for a supervisor, and the gentleman on the phone told me he was the supervisor. USPS made a huge mistake, and made me think they shipped a package to my door in the pouring rain hurricane. The man on the phone said to me that the driver already dropped off the package and would not be able to go back yet because of the rain... I couldn't figure out why they would ship a package clearly labeled "Hold for pickup" in the first place. I told USPS I would call back a little later as I am at work and they agreed to keep on top of the package for me. I called back in about an hour and the same man now said, it turns out that they never dropped off the package at the door, and they still cannot find the package. At this point I was very frustrated and told him he needs to find it because I am on my way to get it and this is my only time off to get to USPS. I waited on hold and the man found the package somewhere in the "supervisor's office". I got to USPS in Tampa, and at this point and was waiting on line for my package. I was going to let the whole event blow over, until the same gentlemen I spoke to the two prior times, asks me if he can help me. He went and got me the package, and decided to call me out in front of everyone in the store saying, "next time I call in don't give him my address, as it doesn't help". I explained to the man as nice, but as stern as possible that I am only picking this package up, and I would have never given him my home address if he didn't ask. I took my package and walked out. Instead of apologizing to me your office worker tried to belittle me. - AND DO NOT GET ME STARTED ABOUT A PREVIOUS PACKAGE THAT DID NOT SHOW UP FOR A MONTH AND THE PET WAS NOT ALIVE Don't pick up packages from these guys, do yourself a favor. read more
