I frequently visit to ship off package, and the staff have always been professional and friendly. There's usually a line with 2 or 3 workers helping out at the desk (but it's a good opportunity to catch up on emails!). I've seen lots of people come in to do passport photos as well. Plenty of parking-- just be careful when exiting... that slope is quite steep for low cars! read more

No. I came here to send my passport renewal off. Waited 20 minutes on 2pm on a Tuesday in social distance line. Staff had to remind customers several times to distance. Staff wasn't friendly or unfriendly. Just very business like. I paid for priority mail with insurance and tracking. Says 1-3 business days. I'm sending my passport renewal with my current passport enclosed so I'm concerned when there is no movement or tracking for several days. This has sensitive information enclosed. Mailed 2pm March 30. Got text delayed April 3. From April 4-15. Nothing. No information. I just got an email from passport agency April 15 that it was received. That's way more than 1-3 business days. I paid for expedited passport service and it took 17 days to even get there. This post office (per tracking info from USPS) had my package on January 17, 2024. This is my local post office. Then they sent it to Pearland where it has been stuck (lost?) ever since, "moving through network." Incompetence all round. Why send to Pearland? and wth is taking Pearland so long to get it rerouted back to 77025. My dog could have delivered it faster. "Sure Post" should be renamed "Unsure Post" or "Sure as Heck Don't Know What We're Doing Post." read more

Go here if you are in the area and seek assistance with the passport renewal process. I was referred here per a customer's recommendation after spending over 30 minutes at the Almeda location which was awful! The guy literally said, "Believe me. Go to the one on Braesmain. They'll help you. These folks here will mess it up". I'm SO glad I took his advice. I knew things would be different from the moment I walked in. I was greeted by the employees. Wow, something new for a post office. Normally you just get a scowl. Then, I went to the counter and the first agent recommended that I wait for another employee to help me because she was more experienced with passports. Bingo! I got the right person this time. And she was great. Personable, knowledgeable, and helpful are all words I use to describe her. Did I mention professional? She reviewed my paperwork, reviewed the packaging and mailed everything off for me plus gave me the tracking number and told me when I can check online. This location is 100% better than the women pretending to provide customer service at the Almeda location. read more

In a word, crowed. The lines around noon were horrid. Just know if you come during lunch there will be extensive wait time. What's puzzling is why aren't more windows open to expedite service? I came in to get my passport renewed. I had an appointment and the technician was running a little late. Once she got there, Tiffany was kind and helpful, friendly and patient. She exuded a calm that made me believe that finally, today, after a year and three appointments, I might finally get a passport. She breezed through the process with me, taking extra care to make sure my photo was a good one and I had everything I needed. My passport will be on the way to me in a couple months and I left Tiffany's desk a happier person than I arrived thanks to her lovely presence. It's not often that you feel like you'd enjoy a few more minutes at the post office, but today I could have poured a cup of coffee and spent the afternoon chatting. This woman is a gem. Worst postal service I have ever experienced. I constantly get mail for a different address (different street names altogether!) delivered to me, once a week at least one item isnt delivered to me (I subscribe to the USPS informed email digest which sends you scans of the mail you SHOULD be receiving), and the supervisor at this site is nonexistent to talk to. Also, dont bother scheduling a mail hold. You'll need a friend or neighbor to pick up your mail every few days because it will keep coming regardless of how far in advance you schedule a hold (I did it 10 days in advance). read more

Another example of an easy and good experience at a local USPS. I was helped by Ms Jackson and she was helpful and extremely friendly. I needed help fitting a plastic bag into a Priority Mail envelop and she helped make sure it fit perfectly. She was quick and made the experience simple and easy. Based on the other reviews, you'd think this post office doubles as a dilapidated rehab-center filled with commies and convicts. I'll admit the building looks post-apocalyptic, but so do most old government buildings. The workers, on the other hand, are worthy of praise for their friendly attitude, professional service, and helpful advice. David N hit the nail on the head comparing this post office to the Almeda Location. We're also closer to Almeda yet we only go here. That's because of the positive experience from the workers and more importantly, they save us time and money. We go here a few times a week because my wife is an Etsy queen aka online selling machine! On our first visit, the worker suggested we repackage our shipments to save us about $2.00 each. That may not seem like a lot but it adds up when you do about 50 shipments a month. If our previous post-office would of suggested this, it would of saved us a few hundred bucks this year! It's paramount in business to work with supportive, responsive, and professional people. The workers here meet those needs for us. I grew up loving to go to the post office. Not anymore. Some of the women are grouchy. If they aren't happy. Why not retire? I have no empathy for people who stay on a job close to or over 20 years. It is your life and you had a choice. A message to all those postal workers............youth wants your job. The will take less pay and enjoy your benefits.......new cars and home loans through your credit unions, higher pay than the target across the street, medical benefits and oh my......the paid vacation and sick hours. This place does not have much going for it. In fact I only use this place to drop off mail at the mailboxes at the exit ramp. I wonder if USPS goes out of their way to scrape the bottom of the barrel for their employees. They have now lost 2 of my packages in the last 3 months. The carrier is never available to answer questions. The supervisor never takes responsibility for anything. And the employees at the kiosk treat you like you are inconveniencing them because you are actually making them earn their government cheese. I cannot stand the USPS. I would rather have ophthalmic surgery with a chainsaw than have to deal with these mouth breathers. read more

Carrier constantly walks on my lawn, steps on/over bushes. I've filed various complaints through their USPS "Customer Service", and have very politely asked the carrier not to walk on the lawn, only to get a dirty look and no response what soever. This is why the USPS is going broke and loses business to UPS and FedEx. Horrible attitude and service. read more

The workers there are usually very rude to foreigners and the tone of their voice usually shows how much they could careless about their customers. One of the ladies has absolutely no manners. Watch out for the one with the ear gauge. When I asked about the price, she rolls her eyes and got very inpatient. When I tried to explain what I needed instead... she had this "whatever I don't care and I am right type of attitude". It's very disturbing. If you hate your life and hate your job then quit. I wish I could give negative stars but one is as low as yelp goes. What I witnessed today at this post office was disgusting. There are 3 ladies that behind the counter. One was "helping" as elderly Asian woman who spoke with broken English. The lady "helping" was speaking not only through a mask but also very quickly and with her own form of improper (slangish) English and in quite a hostile tone. The Asian lady was having trouble understanding what the uSPS clerk was saying . The clerk instantly got frustrated which meant now she is talking even quicker and the poor Asian lady became even more confused. The clerk then started to completely ignore her causing a customer to try and help the Asian lady. Eventually the Asian lady stepped over to a different clerk out of desperation to understand. This clerk was very helpful and spoke slowly and with a friendly tone. Now the third clerk who to this point was a witness like everyone else stepped in and started speaking lto friendly clerk , in too and hostile and aggressive tone , her only input was to tell the friendly clerk who had already resolved the Asian ladies need, all the garbage of clerk 1 and tell the friendly clerk what clerk 1 had told the Asian lady and assert that the Asian lady was basically stupid. It was flat out racist and bigotry's behavior by two of the clerks. If I didnt believe that they would have thrown away my mail for stepping in I would have told the two clerks how aweful of people they are but I dam well know they are of the nature to retaliate by throwing my mail away. Ironically these two hateful clerk ladies were both black and a shining example of how how indeed racism and bigotry is alive and well in America. Black on Asian bigotry and racism is not ok. I have to up my 4 star review to a five star. This place really is the best. I am consistently overwhelmed by the large line that leads out the door, and then happily surprised when 15 minutes later I'm done. They do a great job at moving the line along. Also, the workers here are SO nice. I feel like they actually care about the work they do. Cynthia and Ashley in particular are always so helpful and also efficient in getting you in and out, even during peak hours and when the line is out the door. Other workers are also equally helpful, I am just unsure of their exact names. I feel lucky to have this post office so close to me and love an excuse to go out and Mail something rather than putting it in my mail box :) read more

This is an older post office that doesn't have a self service kiosk that you can use at all hours of the night. While inconvenient, there's another USPS over on Almeda with one. I think that this post office can create the international shipping label the fastest. If I know I'm going to be shipping a few things overseas, this is definitely the place that I try to go to. Ask your post office person how their day is going! It'll make the time go by a little faster. read more

I will amend this once I have a resolution, but for now... I dropped off my wedding invitations last Thursday. (8 days ago). I was the 2nd person in the door that morning. They allowed be to hand cancel my 17 wedding invitations, and then took them from me directly. I sent an additional batch from the PO closer to home the following Saturday. As of today, no one that I sent invites to from this PO have received their invites (even those that live only a few miles from this PO). The people I mailed to 2 days later from the other post office have already gotten theirs. I went in yesterday afternoon, stood in line 20 minutes and was blown off, being told "they went out". I got home and my 5 guests i have requested to let me know as soon as they get theirs, all texted me to tell me no invite today. I called the PO this morning asking to speak to the manager, got the same dismissal, saying "nothing is here, they went out", and "they'll show up". This batch was at least $250 worth of invitations, 5 hours of my time in assembling and addressing, and is causing me to lose sleep. It's the holiday season and there are lots of packages. While I totally understand and sympathize that the post office is slammed right now, there's no real reason why we should receive TWO packages that were mishandled. We live in an apartment complex. Our mail box is tiny... so why would they try to shove a package with a WATCH in it into the mailbox? Well they did. They didn't give us one of the bigger package boxes w/ the key. They didn't leave it in the office for pickup later. We're lucky the box the watch came in was sturdy because that would have been a shame. It was a gift, too. Our second package (same day) was at our doorstep. It was crushed and torn open. While nothing was broken, I couldn't believe it. PLEASE take better care of peoples mail! read more

I have been using this post office for almost one year. People here are friendly and willing to help. We also have a good relationship with our mailman. However, everything was okay until recently they lost my package from Atlanta. It contains my personal designed crystal bracelets, which are somethings that can not be simple reordered. The package was out for delivery and supposed to be delivered on Feb 7. But the states has never been updated ever since. I thought maybe the package was mis-sorted and it would not be hard to find it. I contact customer service (waiting online for 1 and half hour) on Feb 9, they said they would find out on Monday, Feb 12. But the package was not found. Then the post office ask me to contact consumer affairs of Houston on Feb 14. After talking to the rude agent of consumer affairs on Feb 15, she kicked the ball back to this post office. I called the supervisor of this post office on Feb 15, Ms. Mears, who never talk to me herself, has kept telling me she would do the investigation (which would take another 3 days) and she would call me. Now after 2 weeks that my mail was lost, I have visited the post office almost everyday, but they still haven't found my package. This whole issue is disgusting, and I am super exhausted. But I have to call the post office everyday to push them, otherwise I don't think they will care about my missing package. Now after almost a month my package was lost, the post office still has no clue to local my package, they said they looked for it, but didn't find. However, I doubt they never take it seriously or some stuff in the post office actually took the package as they know it worth almost $1000! I have already turned this case to our local police, and will file complaints to U.S. Postal Inspection Service and Office of Public Affairs & Government Relations. read more
