Wow wow!!! I have never had such great customer service experience like I did here!! Everyone is very friendly, helpful and cheerful!!! I have dealt with many post offices in Houston Texas!! And let me tel you people are rude and not helpful at all but this one surpassed my expectations!! I was helped with passport pics and sending the forms, I was in like shortly and the staff made sure I had everything before getting to clerk!! It's frustrating when the people who work at a facility want to argue with you about how a service works when their answer does not match what is posted on the website. I put a hold on my mail and selected the option to pickup my mail that was held. I would rather pick it up because the mailbox is small. I actually resumed the regular delivery for before I returned home. The worker I spoke to told me the day the hold ends is the same day it starts delivery... which I agree. But my request said "Customer will pick up accumulated mail at Post Office". On the FAQ is says, "Note: There is a 10 day period in which to pick up mail at the end of a USPS Hold Mail® service request. If not picked up by this deadline, it will be returned to sender. If your delivery does not resume as requested please Contact Us." I went to pickup my mail before returning home today and the mail was already delivered to the house. read more

I went to this location to mail a card in the mailbox. I wanted to go to the post office to ensure an early pick up. I visited around 9 am but the mailbox had a later pick up time of 5pm. I was a bit disappointed as other locations I have visited has multiple times in one day. I decided to go inside. I was very impressed at how spacious the inside is. There is enough room that the line doesn't have to go out of the door like other locations. It also is decorated with shadow boxes of shipping motif. There were only 2 employees available and at one point they were both helping the same customer so the line piled up quickly. Once I was able to be serviced, the employee advised there was a 1pm pick up on the inside. Service was a bit slow but friendly and the inside is very welcoming. I would only come back if I had to ship. I would not use the mailbox here. read more

I feel like US Post Office locations are usually pretty hit or miss, but this location is mostly consistent. I find they consistently provide short wait times, helpful and pleasant employees and efficient service. This is always a plus, because let's be honest, there are a lot of difficult people that work for the postal service. I most recently stopped in on a mid Friday morning and almost thought the office was closed as no one was waiting in line. However, upon entering, I was promptly greeted and assisted by a nice female employee. I try to limit my trips to the post office, but this location is definitely a must when I have to stop in for something. read more

Very rude and unprofessional worker (pictured) at the counter stated my item was overweight and didnt even make an attempt to find a solution to getting the item reweighed and mailed off. I repeatedly stated the item weighed less than 70 lbs and was within the dimensions usps accepted. He continued to argue with me and I stated "there has to be a scale in the entire post office that can weigh items over 100lbs". The manager on duty "attempted" to help and had someone in the back meet me so I could weigh the item on the industrial scale. The industrial scale stated my item weighed 67 lbs. So I brought the item back into store and he still denied my item, stating it was overweight and the scale needed to be cailbrated. How could he continue making these ridiculous remarks, when he wasnt the one checking the scales or even assisting me. I wasted my time with this incompetent and ignorant individual. I then took my business to UPS where it was shipped at 68lbs according to their scale. read more

I'm not one to leave a negative review, especially when dealing with the post office. This isn't about the long line or the swiftness or efficiency of the clerks... or lack off. This review is specifically about the coldness of the clerks in this post office. Specifically Mark and Raphael. I watched them a good 15 minutes while in line. These employees have probably worked here years and are in no fear of losing their jobs but let me tell you, they need a good talking to about what it means to be kind, friendly and courteous. Specifically, I needed to include a return address on one envelope that I neglected. I was asked to step out of line... ok I can handle that. The issue was my own pen died and I needed to write " Conroe, TX 77384." I asked to borrow a pen... he (Mark) said he did not have one... other than the one in his hand and the two in his chest pocket. I said, "how about the one in your pocket?" He emphatically said "No, step out of line." I did and borrowed a pen from someone in line. Sort of embarrassing but it happened to the lady in front of me... and another lady... and another lady. I understand line efficiency, but between Raphael and Mark there was just a little to much glee in the way they mumbled "step out of line." Further, their mannerisms had me envisioning them as futurustic automatons. Definitely the driest and coldest post office I have been to in awhile. From experience. ... employees reflect their management. I bet you their supervisor is equally rude and these underlings are emulating that manager. It's a guess. However, as much as efficency is valued... This post office needs a stiff lesson in reminding their employees that a smile can go a long ways... certainly more than these robots are capable of. I didn't interact with any other employees but I bet you this is one depressing lousy place to be employed... and it doesn't have to be. Attitude is everything and this place needs some positivity and strong, positive leadership. read more

Called to get passport renewal - did so as website mentioned that due to COVID one should call first. I did and asked if I needed an appointment - lady tells me no appointment is necessary. I show up and am told one is required by the "manager". I explain I called and he tells me he is the only one that picks up - insinuating that I am lying. I checked my call log and I did call them!!! Maybe if he did a better job training his folks then this would not have happened. This place really is the worst. read more

Great post office. The staff are nice and fast. There is a line like all the other ones but the line moves fast. They have all your shipping needs you can ask for. They also sell greeting cards and have a wide selection. The area is nice, and so are the people. This is my favorite post office. read more

I hate to give away my spot but this is by far the best USPS location in houston, I literally drive out of my way past TWO other USPS locations (including the Demoss location which is very hit or miss and does not scan prepaid packages promptly) to come here. The staff are very friendly and helpful - which is usually atypical of a government run place and my packages are always scanned promptly. Why does anyone use the USPS anymore? They are the worst run shipping service. They consistently lose my mail and packages. They are lazy and instead of following the packages instructions to leave at my door, they either take them back to the post office for me to pick up or leave at different random locations, making me figure out what happened. I turned in packages to be shipped a week ago, yet they just left the post office yesterday. I am done with the ridiculousness. I have now requested on my Amazon Prime account that they only ship via UPS or FedEx. Others are making the same request and Amazon obliges. There is no reason the USPS can not do better. read more

Worst post office I been to my money order never made it to its destination and when I went to ask about it they told me they could not do anything about it it's been a month and I trusted my mail when I dropped it off I have never had a problem at any other office I am sticking to the one on De Moss! read more

The employee Eddy, helped us with our passports and he literally saved us. We had had complications with a different post office location earlier that day, and then came to this location and Eddy really went above and beyond for us to get our applications sent out. This is a great post office. Plenty of parking, prompt pickup of mail. The staff are very polite and helpful, which you don't always see at a usps. Best time to go is mid morning. Plenty of parking, easy to get in and out. read more
