I don't know his name but his customer service was wonderful and he was quite possibly the sweetest guy I've ever met in the customer service industry. This place is only for drop off or pick up. Any other service that requires payment will not be accepted unfortunately. I came here early one morning to drop off a prepaid package. I was in the area and just googled a nearby USPS. I was confused upon arrival and asked a person in line if they knew I could drop the package off. They said absolutely, they have done so before. The person behind the door was very friendly and took my package no problem. Hope this review helps anyone who comes here confused like I was. Lol read more

I had 3 packages missing, I went there and they always come out with the ppl are braking into the apartment boxes, and I never seen any of that or my box been forced at all, I ask my nephew to mail me something which he did and same thing never received nothing I have no idea who's keeping them packages or if they don't know how to to their job right, my mail always comes late and I'm always paying bills late cuz of this issue, hopefully they hire new ppl that know how to do their job read more

The USPS facility at 8825 Highway 6 in Houston is NOT a full-service postal office - you cannot buy stamps or mail packages. While it appears you can drop off pre-postaged, I would not bother. While I was there I saw three people cooling their heels...eventuall leaving. There are only 6-8 parking spots which should be a tip-off. The lobby is plastered with signs...one of which notes you can buy stamps or mail postage...and there are two blue doors, neither of which opened while I was there. You would think they'd have an automated self-service postal machine where individuals can weigh and put postage on their packages, or buy stamps. I've seen and used this in Chicago. read more

Literally waited over 40 min before someone opened the door to help me inside. I rang the bell multiple times and the line was out the door with people waiting and leaving just to pick up their mail. Everyone waiting was there to get their mail not even to drop off anything. I do not recommend going unless it is a must and you have PLENTY of free time!!! read more

There is an older lady that works here that has been extremely rude to my boyfriend twice now. Today he came in to drop off packages and was not wearing a face mask since it is NO LONGER required to wear a face mask in Texas on government property. USPS is GOVERNMENT PROPERTY but she told him she wouldn't let him drop off without a mask and SHUT THE DOOR IN HIS FACE. He said "wait I will put my shirt over my face" and she said "ring the bell when your done" and slammed the door again. It took him 2 SECONDS to put his shirt over his face but she did not open the door again, INSTEAD another postal worker opened the door minutes later. All she had to do was grab the bag of packages and dump them, you legally can not force someone to wear a mask on government property. Will be driving to the farther post office from now on they are much nicer, if you hate your job that much you need to work somewhere else! read more

I'm new here in Cypress, TX. I had to go to the post office to send a package to my family. I picked the office that was closest to me which happened to be only a drop off one and not one that I could pay for the package. I realized when I got in there so I rang the service bell and the man gave really great directions to where I could go to pay for my package. He didn't just brush me off and just say "this post office doesn't do that". I went in today, 8/8/2016 @ 1:40pm so I hope this man gets recognized for his great customer service. read more

The worst service in the world. Have not had any packages delivered to my house in the last 2 months because the delivery man refuses to walk up to my door! We have tried to talk to multiple people to figure out what the problem is and no one has helped. Even confronted the mail man outside of my house and he refused to talk to us. I will say that I don't expect much from USPS, I've experienced SO many problems with them that I just assume they will do a pretty job, but today was totally unacceptable. I had a package arriving from Amazon using my free 2-day shipping. I got a notification saying the package had arrived, I checked the mailbox and my front door, but nothing. Luckily there was a USPS truck dropping off mail at the same time so I went up to her and asked if she had my mail, and she just said "no it's probably in the mailbox". So I checked one more time to be sure there wasn't a key for the parcel box hidden somewhere. Nothing. Came back and the woman was still on my street so I stopped her again, and asked her if she was sure there wasn't anything in her truck, she looked around a bit but said that sometimes the online tracking lies. ? I said that I've experienced problems before but usually when I get an update that a package has arrived it has in fact arrived. She just said that it sometimes just lies about it's location, extremely odd right? I call the local USPS office and give them my tracking number so they can see if they know where my package was, and I was told that it was in the parcel box, but I told the woman that I'd checked twice and had no parcel box key in our mailbox. Something told me to check one more time and I was not pleased with what I found. My package WAS in the parcel box, but the delivery woman neglected to put the key in my mailbox. My package was just sitting unlocked in the parcel box for anyone to find. If I hadn't been persistent about locating my order I would have probably never found it, which is unacceptable. I'm very lucky that I didn't order something of great value, otherwise this would have been a much more serious situation. Not good, USPS. read more

This location is extremely unhelpful and hard to work with. I've never had such a HUGE problem getting my mail when trying to establish new mail service. They will give you one answer on the phone then when you arrive tell you don't have sufficient information to get your mail switched over. Everyone at this location should be fired! read more

They totally scammed me of my money. I sell on poshmark(similar to eBay) and I already had a prepaid priority shipping label. This label allows me to get boxes for free. When I walk in there this lady with blonde hair says they I can't get the priority boxes for free and that I have to pay. I said ok.. And she tells me that it's going to be $2.70. I pay for the box and she goes in the back to pack it up.she thought I was going to leave and didn't know that stayed at the counter to ask another question. When she comes back to the counter she has a cheap BROWN BOX that probably cost 10 cents!!! Like what the heck if a customer pays money for a priority box give the what the heck they payed for. I didn't say anything but that pissed me off. It's not about 2$ it's the CONCEPT. This place sucks read more

Horrible service. Opened a business just a mile down the road and they refused to give us our mail key until we produced a piece of mail addressed to us. HOW are we supposed to do that when we can't open the mail box? Finally our mail box was so overstuffed that our (actually very nice) mail carrier brought our mail in to us. When I brought a piece of mail (with both MY first and last name and the business name, my business card, and my ID) they still would NOT give me my mail key and said they wanted a copy of my lease. I had to raise an unholy stink before they finally gave me the key. Also, they are unbelievably rude. It would be comical how terrible USPS service is, if it weren't such an absolute pain. read more
