Went to pick up my mail at this post office 4 days later & there was none. They kept delivering it to my locked neighborhood mailbox. Today I was able to get locksmith to open & replace the lock. He found mail in my box even though it wasn't supposed to be delivered there. Went to this post office today to stop my request to deliver my mail to post office & they couldn't even find my request nor was there any mail being held for me. Such a disappointing experience. They have a 'who cares' attitude too.

My niece suggested that I get stamps from Costco, but they don't sell POSTCARD stamps. Yup. This post office was really close to Costco anyway, so it wasn't out of our way! Plus, the service was SUPER helpful! The kind, friendly woman was very personable and asked where we were from. She gave me tips on where to eat nearby and where to go for a good view of the city and the Space Needle. She was sharp because she looked at my postcards, knew that I was a tourist and tried to help me find beautiful views of Seattle like those on the postcards! She went over and beyond! She asked of i needed more than ten stamps - because they are "Forever" stamps and the price will be the same now and forever... She's correct. I purchased 20 stamps... LOL! We had a wonderful visit and ate where she suggested and will go to the park that she mentioned! Thank you so much!

This post office (known as the "Kent Midway" location) is not easily spotted from the street. You…read morecould probably drive past it ten times and never know it's there, but It's tucked in the same strip mall as Dollar Tree on Pac Highway just south of Kent Des Moines Road. (You can also access it from 30th Avenue South.). But once you're there, this post office has plenty of parking. It also has weird hours. The hours on Yelp are wrong, and I suspect it's because you can't include split hours on Yelp. I've included a photo of the hours, I hope that helps. But it may not help enough... Can you go before work? Probably not. Can you go during your lunch hour? Also no. But, there are rarely more than a few people in line (I'm looking at you, Downtown Kent Post Office with your long lines!), and the employees are always friendly and efficient. For that reason, it might be worth it to find this little postal location.

To be honest, I live a few minutes away from here but I truly avoid this area because it is rife with vagrants and petty crime. So I don't come here unless I have to. But if I do have to come here, I know the staff is prompt and courteous. I've only ever had to come here to drop off Amazon returns, so I'm not familiar with their pricing for packages. They do make it pretty easy to come in and just drop off, so that service is very convenient. All in all, it's a good place inside, just maybe come during the day and lock your car doors.

I most love the large package lockers that allow my packages to be safe and secure. When I rented the PO Box, I also got a "package" address to give when ordering packages. Any licensed service can deliver packages to this USPS, using this address. I receive everything from Amazon deliveries to medications at this address, where they are safe from porch pirates and the weather. All for $200 a year. Great service. 5 stars.

I don't deal with USPS often bc I know what I'm paying for, so I generally stick with the larger private delivery companies, but when you have to deal with the VA and other vendors that uses USPS, I have no say. So I had to request for my PCP (outside VA) to prescribe my meds and explain my situation and send all my docs and have it deliver the next business day with FEDEX, it cost Extra but at least I know i can rely on it being here and I'm not going for another 5 days without it. No matter how hard I tried to plan accordingly and ensure I have my refill before I finish my bottle, something outside of my control will always dictate the outcome. I mean what more can you expect...time has changed for sure. COVID has really changed our way of life, our processes/systems, the workforce and how we treat people. All I wanted was my meds.
