I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place...This office really needs an overhaul and total remodel. The AC is barely adequate, lines are very long, and the Kiosk printer was busted. (Thankfully, the email receipt came through!) I feel sorry for the postal workers here. Unfortunately, it's Fullerton's main station, so it may be a while before they get a re-do. :( Try and avoid it if you can. Ridiculous! Paid to get an important package to my Chapman student. Package arrived at the facility at 4:55 a.m. today. Chapman mail services picks up at 8:00, but my package wasn't in the box yet. She won't get it until Monday (no longer needed at that point), because they won't allow individuals to pick up even though their name is on the package and she has all the tracking info. If you need Money Orders over $3,000 DO NOT GO TO THIS POST OFFICE because the not so lovely window clerk KHANA will make up rules & regulations as she goes to prevent you from purchasing. Because I was BLACK she felt like I was trying to SCAM when in reality I'm just tryna pay my damn bills. After I asked for my MO's she quickly replied "oh for that much you'd have to fill out a form" & then proceeds to ask if I was buying the MO's for myself & what were they for? I stepped to the side & filled out my portion & it specifically asks for ONE FORM OF PHOTO IDENTIFICATION, a US Passport being acceptable. So after I was done I handed her the form and my passport where she then makes up her OWN rules & says "oh I'll need another form of ID because your passport doesn't have an address" I reply with "when has a passport ever had your address on it?" like girrrrl what? Do you own a passport bro? Lmao so I replied that "the form only asks for ONE photo ID & that a US Passport was acceptable & matched my debit card & my DL". Even though I know she made that shit up I STILL gave her my DL & she proceeds to say "well do you have your car insurance or lease agreement or something else we can verify with?" Like MA'AM what more can I give you?!? TF? So I replied with "Those are requirements to open a PO Box, NOT purchase MO's, & I know this because I worked for the post office until 2019 as a window clerk!!!" I didn't even want to take it there, but I had to tell her like "ma'am you know how many 8105's I had to fill out? You making that shit up" so I said forget the MO's "what's your supervisors number?" The only time they move fast is when it's closing time then they move like lightning to put up the closed sign. The location of this post office is great! It has a very small parking lot located directly behind the building. However it is only a block away from the orange circle. So after you finish mailing items, head over to the circle and enjoy some lunch! I have never had a problem with the customer service. The only downside I see is it is a small location. They have only three windows. So you can wait for an extended amount of time. read more

This review is for the PO Box service only. When I started renting my PO Box, the fees were 50% cheaper ($67) and it was 24 hour lobby access. Now the price has increased to $106 and the lobby closes at 5:00 on weekdays and 3:00 on Saturdays. Its closed Sundays. The changed hours stem from supposed vandalism. I have gotten used to the new hours, however inconvenient. But my main issue is that a particular post office employee who works Saturdays keeps closing early. It's so annoying to drive all the way over there and its closed. It's a federal building and should keep its posted hours or update them. read more

This PO is just okay. I come here because it's just down the street from where I live but I prefer going to the one on Grand any day. I'd say I come 2-3 times a week. This PO does not have a large drop box, only a small one so some of my packages do not fit. Employees: I've only ever encountered two employees--a Vietnamese woman and a south Asian woman. The Vietnamese woman is very strict with rules and will question my packages if I am using recycled packaging and ask what's inside and what used to be inside. She is also very strict when it comes to package weights, even if the package is one or two ounces overweight. The south Asian woman is much kinder and actually seems like she enjoys her job. Parking is absolutely terrible. The lot is one way and the spots are so tiny. I've only seen a full lot once or twice. read more

WOW. Spent 38 minutes here waiting in line... mind you there were like, 6-7 people in line but I digress. Melody was the only employee working the counter and not only was she slow (out of spite? Who knows as she appeared fully capable), but she was straight rude to several customers. So much so to the point that I heard TWO people waiting ask to speak to the manager, which of course, she essentially refused. Told them to go to another location. Melody, who I've seen work at this particular location for the past 5 or so years I've been coming here, has always been pleasant to deal with. I decided to Yelp today because of what happened to my wife. I was away on business and asked her to have the postage cancelled on a letter to the County to make sure the postage mark date was that day. All I wanted was for her to watch them stamp the letter, that's it. I did not need any official verification since the regular stamp has the date on it. I just didn't want it sitting in a sorting bin overnight and being stamped the following day. They stamped it in front of her. Great. For kicks, my wife snapped a photo of it on her iPhone to text it to me just to say, "Hey, got this done." As soon as she snapped the photo, the counter clerk demanded $1.80 for a "Certificate of Mailing." My wife was like, "What the?!?" They demanded she pay for it, so she did because what was the alternative? Delete the photo I guess? Copy the photo on the phone and delete the original in front of them and keep the copy? Say she deleted it but fake it and keep the photo? If she opts to say she deleted the photo, are they then going to go through every photo on her phone to make sure it's deleted? I mean....the whole concept is ridiculous. So she paid the $1.80 and text me what happened. I called the USPS main customer service number (phone menu hell in itself) and they filed an investigation because nobody there had ever heard such a thing. The girl on the phone actually laughed because that sounded crazy to her. I mean, basically, let's say I needed to prove that letter was sent to the County. Does anyone really think a photo on her phone is going to be considered "official" proof? No way. The Certificate of Mailing is just that, a certificate, an official Government document that would stand up in court. In fact, it is specifically Form 3817 and Form 3877 according to USPS.GOV. They never gave her any of those, they charged her for the Certificate, but all she had was the photo, and the only purpose of taking the photo was to text it to me to let me know this "to-do" was "ta-done," not as "evidence" that we sent it. The USPS needs to be privatized as soon as possible. Let FedEx and UPS and other third party companies compete against each other to deliver the mail. At least they won't go $8B in debt that the next two generations of children have to pay for. The USPS is an archaic relic of Big Government and over-pensioned employees. Privatize it, and these employees will simply work for the private companies that take it over, with competitive pay in a free-market system, with a 401K like the rest of us. Right now all the Post Office does is pretend to be competitive by charging less than it costs to deliver the mail, known as predatory pricing, which is illegal in the private sector. The huge gap in debt that this creates is then taken out of our wallets through taxation. So they charge us less on the front end, but then take it out of our hides on the back end. The Government also made it illegal to compete with the Post Office. So between the predatory pricing, and the law against competition, the Government has created a Government-taxpayer subsidized anti-competitive MONOPOLY. Remember that the next time Big Gov carves up a private company like a roasted pig because it's "too big," and "hurts the consumer due to a lack of competition" and they declare it a monopoly, subject to Government control. When the Government engages in predatory pricing...it's fine. When the Government creates and supports a monopoly, it's fine. But when you do either, the Government will punish you. That's called hypocrisy. That's called tyranny. read more

I went into a small post office just to send some cards to friends out-of-state and out-of-country. Two elderly attendants were there helping out two people. Each person probably took 30+ minutes! I know the attendants were being helpful but the line was getting longer and longer and the attendants didn't seem to be rushing. I could tell people were getting agitated.
