Working with Brian Novak at United Wholesale Supply Inc was a true pleasure. Brian came out to my house with a couple of colleagues, to see what my home looked like before my remodel and to measure and discuss my cabinetry needs for my kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. Although there were a few missing components when we opened all of the packaging containing the cabinetry, Brian made sure everything was as it should be in the end and got me everything I asked and paid for with no argument. He even made a few deliveries himself. Brian was professional, extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I had questions or concerns. He had me come up to his office / warehouse location to look at some examples of what United had to offer, which I would recommend others do as well. He "always" responded back to me when I sent an email or called even when he was ill or on vacation. He explained things when I didn't understand so I could contemplate what I wanted, and we could go forward from there. When the remodel was complete, Brian and his colleague, Jade Hemmings, came out with a professional photographer (at my convenience) and took photographs. Jade made sure I was given copies of the photos taken, which was sincerely appreciated. After 6 months of searching for the correct cabinet hinge, I went in to United Wholesale expecting only advice on where I might find it. I came out with everything I needed. Cody was super helpful. I had United come out to design a custom island for me. They didn't just design the island l, but gave me multiple options to make the island more functional, I purchased the cabinets and they arrived early. They were installed just as the plans stated, they tripled checked how the doors and drawers closed. We are very happy with the outcome. We ordered our kitchen cabinets through this company. When the cabinets arrived, it turned out they ordered the incorrect ones in the wrong color and wood. This delayed our remodel by over a month. They then committed to sending us the correct cabinets within four weeks; however, they didn't meet that deadline either and now the cabinets will be arriving another four weeks later than they promised. Overall they have delayed our project by at least 6-8 weeks. Please do not order through this company. read more

My husband and I went in and met with an employee, we had a great meeting, the employee said he would send us a quote that afternoon or the next day and we never heard back from anyone. We called and emailed letting him know that we were ready to order cabinets and he never responded. I would not recommend this company to anyone. At first it went well. The employee was helpful at the beginning, but as soon as I made the down payment for our new kitchen, he became rude to me . He forgot that customer service is a huge part of the deal. He never discussed basic things like counter-top edge options and was going to go with one without our knowledge. He also never called the counter top guys after several phone calls and asks us if we called them... That was there job ! Also was rude when asking for basic measurements on some things in the kitchen. I let it go for a while but after his recent email, I had to write a review. Do they forget that people can easily review companies online now ?? I would not recommend this company . read more

I had a guy come to my home to take measurements 3 weeks ago, he promised to send me some cabinet catalogs the very next day and have my plans in a week. The quality of the cabinets was very good, and they made me some very fair deals on appliances as well. It looks like many of the negative reviews were from some time ago. I can say that our contact at United Wholesale has been nothing short of a godsend. Many things went wrong on our job, some of them completely our fault...but when we made an error in judgement or a mistake in timing, we could always count on Alan to not sugarcoat the issue, but work hard to offer us viable alternatives. As first time remodelers, when we ran into a SERIOUS problem with the quality of the installation from our contractor of our beautiful cabinets, Alan once again served as our sage advisor on options to get the result we wanted without ever being unprofessional about decisions the contractor had made. We really appreciated that. Im not sure who worked here when the previous reviews took place but we can't say enough about the guidance we have received from Alan. He doesn't cowtow to the client when they are wrong (and we were, many times... and he gently guided us to that conclusion) but still guides you to choices for a remedy. He also stands by you when your concerns are justified, in a non-judgemental, helpful way. Should I need further guidance on a remodeling job, I would definitely want to work with Alan. A collaborative, realistic, solution based partnership type of guy. read more

My husband and I faced a kitchen remodel following water damage at our home. The designer I worked with at United Wholesale was phenomenal. She went far and above what her job description entailed-- including helping with the selection of granite, knobs, etc. Her design work on the cabinetry was most impressive and the finished product was absolutely gorgeous-- down to every detail. She was a gem in every way and so well qualified in her design skills. What really impressed me the most about the company was the fact that a year and a half after the kitchen remodel was complete, our new Thermador stovetop burned out. We discovered at that point that the contractor who installed the new cabinetry had installed the cooktop improperly without enough ventilation space, though the designer had given specific instructions for proper install. The contractor would not stand by his work even though he could clearly see that the installation instructions indicated that there be at least a 1" clearance between cooktop and oven. When I contacted United Wholesale, they stood behind their product. Although the installation was done by the contractor, the company paid for new matching wood and sent Alan out to reinstall the oven correctly, allowing the proper amount of ventilation. It took him most of a day's work to correct the problem. I appreciate a company that will support the client. I would recommend United Wholesale Supply Company to anyone looking for a company with great employees, and especially, a company with integrity. Thank you United Wholesale. read more

Delivery were disrespectful to 94-year old disabled neighbor lady who asked them to move their truck. (Responded very rudely and dismissively to her with "yeah we'll move it eventually".) When I calmly challenged them, on her behalf, they became abusive and threatening toward me, cursing and taking aggressive posture. The truck was blocking traffic on a residential street, illegally, without cones, blinkers, or anyone to redirect traffic. Shameful behavior when a polite response with an ounce of empathy would have taken no energy or time on their part. Very toxic employees. read more

Update: After we asked our contractor to find us new people to install the backsplash and counter tops, our contractor finally started hearing from the United Wholesale Supply rep. He was still not great at returning calls promptly, but they did finally deliver the last cabinet and cabinet doors, and they upgraded us to glass cabinet faces at no extra charge. We are satisfied with the cabinet quality and appearance. After I posted my first review of 1 star, the owner of the company contacted me, which I appreciated. However, due to the inconsistent communication from the rep to the contractor and to us, and the number of mistakes made on our order, I still can't honestly recommend this company to anyone. read more

There are a few hiccups along the way but United wholesale supply came through all the way. They corrected any issues that were wrong.
