The response I received was completely unacceptable. The staff accused me of breaking the part myself, stating, "YOU BROKE IT, NOT US. WE DON'T SELL DOORS WITH BROKEN PARTS." I wasn't asking for much just acknowledgment of the inconvenience and perhaps a small gesture of goodwill. Instead, they refused any compensation and continued to insist I had damaged the part myself. I expected better customer service a family owned business. My biggest complaint is the person they recommend for the installation, Oscar 786-546-2022 came to give me the estimate after not showing 3 weeks earlier, that day he told me that installation of the door and 2 windows will be $600 and that was a super deal because he normally charge $1000. So I asked him if he takes care of everything, and he replied YES, the work is going to be perfect. So when the time for the installation came, he arrived one hour late, made a mess in the door because the frame was over 1 inch smaller and he didn't finished the cosmetic imperfections. He went ahead to tell me, "when I come back to install you the other 2 windows I will fix that for FREE". Really? Free? What are the $600 I'm paying you for? So at the end I asked my neighbor how much he paid for his installation with the same guy and it was less than I was charged. After this ugly chapter I found a different guy to install the remaining windows and fix the mess done by Oscar. I gave Economy Windows another chance and placed an order for 3 more windows, Juan Carlos, the owner is so disorganized that he couldn't get the right measurements neither send me an invoice with the right products and amount to be pay. Others have not understood me, or my request because of their limited English. That was my only frustration with this place. They do carry some tools and other supplies but I've only ever gone there for additional screws or bolts that I've lost and need to replace.

Nevertheless, he never sent anyone to pick up the doors and never contacted me again regarding the doors. I called the owner of the company of Italkraft, Alex, with whom I also shared the photos and ongoing, irresponsive text conversations with his employer, and he then guaranteed that he'd replace the doors. That never happened and when I reached out about it Shortly he said that he couldnt find the deposited checks and therefore could not give me service. Even though the company's administrative organizational issues are completely not my problem, I sent him a photo of the check I did have a photo of. I also have clear bank statements that show deductions for the payment installments requested and made to Italkraft. The owner already acknowledged the issue and has been aware of me as a client since the beginning but now does not want to complete the service that was promised under the excuse that he cannot find the checks. I am aware of negative reviews that I estimate are likely unjustified. I also suspect that any negative reviews by others involving claims of damaged items were likely not due to mishandling on the part of Shell. I am very willing to order from Shell again. And, if I had a concern about mishandling of my items that might occur then I would contact and request Shell increase my shipping cost by going with a different carrier solely for my order.
