Our group did the Tomb of the Pharaoh room and it was just ok. Staff was nice but not super friendly or welcoming. A few of the items in the room were faded or worn and made it difficult to tell if they were even supposed to be part of the puzzle we were trying to solve. There were also 2 times during this particular room that we had to place items in a particular order and when done correctly the "game master" assigned to our group would reveal that it was correct and reveal the next clue or step and it seemed like it took a while for them to acknowledge our completion of that step. We did escape with 9 minutes to spare using 1 clue so I wouldn't say it was overly difficult. They took a group photo of us at the end which felt very rushed. One of the members of our group blinked in the photo and it would have been nice if they took a second to notice that and retake our picture. read more

We were initially going to do the killers lodge but he recommended person of interest since it was our first escape room and my daughter might be afraid of the other one. Once we signed the waiver and he explained the rules, it was all up to us. We DID HORRIBLE. He helped us a lot lol we didn't make it out in time but I had soooo much fun! Yesterday July 30th my group and I had a reservation for the Killers Lodge Escape room , everyone was so eager and excited to try this escape room out , we entered and we got greeted by the front staff it was a gentleman which he was nice, until the other employee the young lady with blonde hair and glasses don't even remember her name because she ruined our experience. This employee was very rude, not enthusiastic at all like if she didn't want to be at work . In this escape room the killers lodge have these walkie-talkies we are able to use to get hints from this young lady which I didn't really like because once we started asking for hints she became to come at us with rude comments and avoiding to give us hints , like if she wanted to give us a hard time , also there was a point when our group had the walkie-talkies in the same room asking for a hint and we couldn't hear her which I understand walkie-talkies can't be close together because it will disrupt the signal so she made us take one walkie-talkie back to the other room first then she would give us a hint . Like why did she have to be so extra like that . That is so lame Im Forsure not coming back to the Rancho Cucamonga Location. read more

This is our second time returning to this location. We had a bad experience the first time and decided to give it another shot; after all, sometimes a change in game master makes the experience better. It did not. Our game master couldn't have been more bored about the whole process. My group of friends are avid escape room participants and one of our favorite parts is the interaction with the game master setting up the experience for us and unfortunately it disappointed. The room itself was ok, but it definitely did not feel immersive because every single object in the room was labeled as "do not touch, open, etc". I understand some things are labeled for safety or for guidance but when I say Every. Single. Thing. was labeled, I am not exaggerating. Aside from that, the initial introduction video, once we entered the game "Kitchen Nightmare", was so poorly done it looked like a 6th graders rushed powerpoint presentation. My party of six and I participated in "The Killers Lodge" in Rancho Cucamonga. While we enjoyed the actual challenge, we were very disappointed in our experience with the staff. Upon our initial arrival, we were very kind and eager to start. We were asking numerous questions (since this was our first "scary advanced" escape room). There was two staff members present, a very kind gentleman that was assisting us upon arrival, and another young woman (light blondish hair, caucasian, with glasses.) Throughout our ENTIRE experience there, she was extremely passive aggressive, and rude. One of the participants in our group asked a question in which she answered very short and ended with, "anymore dumbass questions?" We were taken back considering her tone and approach was off putting. While we understand jokes, we felt as though she was in no place to behave in such a way to participants. During our actual escape, she sounded very bothered by us requesting for assistance. Many times we asked kindly, "May we please have assistance for the group in the bathroom." To which she would reply, "I already helped you." - we were extremely discouraged in requesting assistance. One situation that stood out specifically was the walkie-talkies. We were given walkie-talkies to request assistance and be able to communicate with each other. Of course during our experience myself and another one of my group members kept the walkie-talkies close to us in the event we needed assistance. The rooms are fairly small so naturally it's going to cause frequency sounds should the walkie-talkies are too close. With the clock against us, we were huddled together trying to solve the clues. As we were asking a question she specifically proceeded to lecture us through the walkie-talkies about how before she helps us we need to take one of the walkie-talkies to the bathroom. Her tone was so off putting and unnecessary that it's almost as if we had to earn our requested assistance from her. She refused to assist until we told her that the walkie-talkie was in the bathroom. Those were valuable seconds we wasted towards our time we couldn't get back because she felt the need to lecture us. It made us regret coming to unity escape room. We are kind, "non-problematic" adults. None of us gave her attitude or a "smart mouth" for her to behave so aggressively towards us. When our time was up we were so drained by her tone and energy that one of our group members walked out of the lobby because she was so rude. We kept our composure with her even though she didn't deserve it. We will most likely go back to Unity Escape Room, but not the Rancho Cucamonga location. read more

There are escape rooms in pretty much every town and city. However, this one is nicely done and a fun time for the group.

I have been to five different escape room companies and by far this one has the most friendly staff. They are so sweet and patient. During this time of Covid they offer safe clean fun, which is so hard to find. I was even able to take my four year old with us and she had a great time. She asked about 100 times if we could go back. I would not recommend all the rooms for small children but trying to get out and have fun with the family , this is a great idea. You really do have to work as a team and listen to everyone in the group ( even the lill ones). The rooms have such detailed and fun props. They have done such a great job at transforming a business building in to a exciting adventure. You'll get lost into your room ,you'll forget where you really are . Make sure you don't over look anything because it could be a clue. I don't know how they think of all these thing but so glad they do. We have now done two rooms and very excited to do the rest. When you walk inside the location you will immediately be greeted by a fellow game master. Upon finishing up some quick waivers and a restroom break you put all your belongings into a locker and hold onto the key. Now it's time for the most fun you've had in a long time. Leo is a new game master. You wouldn't know this however because he does his job so well. He makes the experience as our "game master" so much fun. For this reason we came back the very next day. We absolutely loved the cabin room and couldn't wait to do the second chapter. We will be back to try our luck on Wizard soon enough. read more

Props kept opening up with out solving the puzzles so the game attendant had to come back in 4 times to reset it.. waisting a lot of our time. When I complained about it I was told " you must have done something to make that happen" when we asked for clues, the hint give. Was vague and more confusing than the puzzle. I rate it a 1 out of 10. And we will never be attending a unity escape room again. do not waist your time or money. The production value was low useing Home Depot Halloween props. Went to Unity Escape Rooms with a few coworkers and we had a great time! I highly recommend this place for coworker outings and friend/family activities. The owners were super friendly and nice, I really enjoyed talking to them about escape rooms and designs. Our group of 6 did the Person of Interest escape room and we solved it with 9 minutes left. The room difficulty was listed as medium and I can agree 100% with the rating. As an escape room rookie I really enjoyed my time in the room, I thought the room was challenging and the puzzles took a fair amount of thinking and piecing together. Just had an escape room today where our game master was very condescending because she had a passive aggressive attitude when asked for clues and made you feel dumb. The room was also not properly reset before our game which was a huge loss time because you needed the people in one room to come help solve the puzzles in a second room. But when the other group can't escape due to a lack of props being placed. You lose a lot of time. My friends were stuck trying to find a key to escape that was never in the room with them and had to have the game master come in and pause the game (after about 10 minutes of searching for said key) and unlock them in order to escape. My friends kept asking for help and the game master just kept saying to keep looking. At some point I notice on our time clock; that the time would also still be running when the game master was coming in and out room. We got 5 extra minutes in the escape room but if props were properly placed and I wasn't afraid of asking for clues. We would have finished the room. I'm not bummed over the fact we didn't finish the room, but I am upset over the lack professionalism of this escape room and it's staff. (Except for the girl with short curly hair. She was so sweet and kind. The other girl with glasses was our game master who ruined the experience). My friends and I really wanted to love this place but we left feeling sad over the whole experience and didn't even want pictures for memories . I'm not the type to leave bad reviews on anyone. This is my first ever review but I felt as if I had to say something because of how upset I was. This was our first escape room experience that we have ever done. I went with my fiancé and sister. We didn't know what to expect but Brandon was very helpful and kind. He truly made our experience there memorable. We were able to escape our room and had such a blast working together figuring everything out! VISIT 2 DISTRESS CALL: 4 star Overall we enjoyed this room. It brought together multiple gen 1 and gen 2 elements that worked well with the design of the room. The room offered a good immersion factor into the story line bringing you to feel like part of the crew onboard a ship. We are glad we gave this room a try and are excited to see what the other rooms have to hold. As always the staff was excellent and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. VISIT 1 KITCHEN NIGHTMARE: 2 Star I would like to start by saying the staff was great. That being said, on to our experience. We showed up about 15 mins early to attempt "Distress Call" upon arrival we were informed that the Room was broken. Which was slightly irritating to begin with since we made the drive and no one called us to give us the option to reschedule. The worker proceeds to tell us we can either come back another day or pick any other room to attempt. We decided to go with "Kitchen Nightmare". This is where it all went down hill. Having done over 30 escape rooms I can honestly say that this room is absolutely at the bottom of my list. It is a complete Gen 1 room (which is no problem when done right) with little to no guidance on where to begin or any sort of flow. We all found ourselves extremely frustrated through the experience rather than having fun. After completing this room I read a few other reviews and we are definitely not the only ones who feel this way. I would not recommend this room to anyone. I felt it was a waste of time and money. read more

We played the Distress Call room which was partial video game partial puzzles. It was different because you had the multitask the room at all times. Our game master was pleasant! At one point tho the game froze and we had to accelerate the room with the GM giving us an answer to avoid resetting the game. Very clean and friendly staff!
