Universal horror unleashed was fun. We went a few weeks before Halloween, so traffic was light and we didn't experience some of the ticket issues during peak times. The mazes were well mapped, characters were fun and well played, and there was a bar basically between each exhibit. It's just my kind of spot. Halloween is the Vegas national holiday, so it's fitting that this is here all year long. Go and check it out. Worth it read more

If you're not planning to eat or drink anything here, you'll probably be done with the mazes in about half an hour like we were. Every maze was very well done with incredibly high quality props, sets, sound effects and lighting effects that only Universal Studios could have achieved, my favorite being the scarecrow maze (I wish this was a movie. I'm pretty sure that some of the mazes will eventually be replaced by other themes and franchises as the years go by but these four are pretty amazing and should be experienced if you're a big fan of Halloween Horror Nights. read more

We were in line 10 minutes early for our 2pm arrival. The line was already long! It took about 25 minutes to get through the line and security checkpoints. I really thought we were going to walked through 4 haunted houses and leave. Psh! Yeah right! There was so much more to this place! You had scare actors on the floor, above you and jumping out at random spots. We sat down to eat and didn't know they were going to have shows while you eat as well! We watched vampires speak to the crowd, clown juggling, choreographed dances and the black phone actor walk around the restaurant, and even, sit at your table! Awkward! Favorite haunted house, definitely was the monster house! Love the decor! I want to thank the wonderful scare actor with the white mask that roams the floor for scaring me 7 times! I definitely thought this would just be a waste of time and money after being to many haunted houses but I can say it's well worth it after going. You can tell by just walking in, they spent a lot of time and thought on everything even the haunted houses. The decor is too good. The scares will be spooky good so be prepared if you LOVE horror like I do. The scarecrow haunted house was awesome! There is a bar inside - drinks are around the $18-19 range. The mazes all seemed very similar and way too loud for comfort. We enjoy Reign of Terror in Thousand Oaks much more.

I happened to be in the area 3 days after it opened to the public and figured why not? It's located in Zone 2 of Area 15 so the ride share drop off is at the big parking garage directly across the street. As of right now, I think this might be the only attraction open although other things are coming soon. So I bought my tickets when I arrived. a Sunday ticket cost $89 (plus Vegas tax) so total was $98 I think. The overall vibe is awesome. Scareactors are everywhere and can pop out when you least expect it. There are a few places for drinks and food although prices are definitely higher (alcoholic drinks are $19 and food seemed about $14 and up). My only real complaint is that there is no communication for when the mazes are down for breaks or when the show starts. You literally wander over to a line and they tell you, oh sorry the scare actors are on break and then wait until you see people. Same with the show. They should post show times so that people know when the stage shows are happening. While I thought it was a cool experience, I did feel like it was overpriced for 4 haunted houses. I mean you can go to HHN and get 10 houses (plus shows) for the same price with cheaper food and drinks. read more

The newest addition to the Area 15 location, it is located roughly a block behind the main building and there is a shuttle that is located on the left side of Area 15 building that can take you there. If you ever been to Universal Horror Night in California, then you will be disappointed in this one. This one only consists of only 4 haunted houses where you can go through all of them less than an hour if there was no wait. The layout of the haunted houses made it hard to keep the pace without things being spoiled. I would have to wait extra 5-10 seconds before I enter the next area so I can be surprised or else I would know what is coming from the front of the group ahead of me. I did enjoy the live performance that was in the middle of the venue, the actors/actresses did very well in hyping up the audience. The decor was nice, they had a photo op for some of the Blum House movies such as "The Black Phone" and "Megan". Pizza Skull($12)- A pepperoni and mozzarella stuffed skull with marinara sauce that was fun to eat but nothing special in particular Green Monster($13)- A healthy salad with edamame, avocado, cucumber, pumpkin seed and green monster dressing. The dressing was better than I expected for a regular salad Texas Chainsaw($13)- Sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella and spicy tomato flatbread. Very disappointed that it only had 4 pieces of pepperoni and barely any sausage. This place is still very new and it has a lot of potential in the future but as of right now currently it was not worth the $80+ in my opinion. My friend was fortunate enough to grab us tickets for the soft opening free of cost. Initially, I wanted to give it 5 stars. For $40-$50, this place would be nice for a Halloween activity or just to bring friends through when they are visiting as tourists. However, the facility is utilizing peak pricing like theme parks do - only certain days are $59 (that's the local price, yikes) and some days get up to $89+ at peak pricing. For what the experience is, I think that's an exorbitant amount to ask of patrons and borders on insulting. There are four haunted houses on site. While they are very well constructed and themed, they may feel underwhelming for some. Being a huge nervous wreck, I liked that I could see where the scare actors would potentially be before they jumped out. I still felt properly startled, but I know people seeking high thrills may not love that aspect. The houses are incredibly short. I think some took us about 5 mins max. This wouldn't be an issue if the price wasn't so steep. Surely the bars with themed food and drinks will rake in the dough for the facility. I'm not sure why tickets need to be nearly the cost for the actual Halloween Horror Nights theme park experience. The free shows included with admission were lackluster in my honest opinion. The dancing was talent-filled, but I don't believe it adds very much to the experience and feels a little out of place. Perhaps more demonstrations with the scare actors on the floor would feel better suited for the environment. We attended a clown dance show, which felt like an adult dance recital with a thinly veiled horror theme. The actors who walk around and interact with patrons were probably the most fun part. There are living statues, bloody cheerleaders, mad scientists, and serial killers in the mix that engage with people in various ways. I found it quite fun and felt like it added to the ambiance of the experience. Lastly, the interior of the building is stunning. The theming of this facility is where they really knocked it out of the park. It's very immersive. You really feel like you're in a huge, abandoned warehouse with rusty old machinery. The lighting and setup of everything is very well done. If anything, the construction of the haunted houses and building itself reflects the ticket price more than anything. I'm sure it costs a hefty amount to keep all the scare actors employed year round 8 hours a day, but in my humble opinion, that was a silly choice the creators made to pass that cost burden onto their patrons rather than create something spectacular that is open maybe only 5 months of the year instead. The merchandise in the gift shop is also very high quality for the cost of the items. There's genuinely something for everyone there, so you'll probably want to come prepared to spend a little extra cash on a souvenir at the end. We were a bit let down that the experience was cut short. Their hours of operation state they close at 10pm, but they shut down all the attractions at 9:30, so there's really not much to do except hang out for 30 minutes and have a drink, which is probably calculated. Parking was mostly a breeze. It's easiest to park in the A lot and take a tram over to the Horror Unleashed building. The trams come fairly often, but it wasn't packed when we went, so they may get a little more backed up once spooky season hits. We were incredibly grateful for the opportunity to attend, and it was tempting to rate higher due to the experience being complimentary and our love of heavily themed places. However, I had to write my review with the every day patron in mind, and I feel they don't get enough with the experience to make it worth the price point. read more

Universal really unleashed the thrills and fun with this one! As soon as you step in and you're immediately immersed in this eerie and mysterious world. Low lighting, dark atmosphere, and unique scary characters moving around engaging with you. There are impressively elaborate bars and restaurants to dine in, and entertaining performances to captivate. The wandering scare actors especially stood out to us because they weren't the typical horror characters we're used to seeing. A lot of really cool original designs! The houses are on another level in terms of scale, design, and impact. They are bigger, more detailed, and way more cinematic than what we expected or are used to at HHN. Universal Monsters was our favorite and easily the standout for us! It's probably our favorite haunted house we've ever experienced. Seeing all the classic Monsters in their unique worlds was so cool! Some of the sets were beyond impressive we walked in and our jaws dropped. Scarecrow was another one we kept going back to. The environments in that house are especially well done, and it had some of the most unpredictable scares of the night. The actors are incredible, they delivered some scary fun surprises and even switched it up when we went through again so it stayed thrilling and engaging. Not only is this place open year round, but there are no lines, you're in a climate controlled space, and they space out the house entry so you get to experience all the scares. Wow I am so Thankful first and foremost for Universal Horror Unleashed and Yelp for putting this amazing event together. It exceeded all of my expectations and more. From the minute you walk onto the grounds of Universal you start feeling like a kid and get all excited! The amazing set up and layout of everything is beyond amazing ! Our private event space was large enough for all of us, the security staff, waiters and waitresses as well as cooks and all other staff were top notch. Now the food , Oh my gosh lollipop chicken , tacos, rice and refried beans, salad, cookies, fruit, cake, oh yea and way more everything was exceptional and there was no shortage of food. The buffet line kept moving quickly and the servers kept bringing the food out ! The DJ playing fantastic music all night and let's not forget fun taking pics at our photo booth. All access to the Haunted houses and I was so scared . This was definitely a night to remember . Couldn't be worse if I tried to make it worse than before my last trip here. I was completely ignored at the Boiler, spending 20 minutes waiting and finally leaving, only to spend another 15 minutes when I tried again, mind you, no one was being served. The bartenders were pretending no one was there, so no tip. No Jack and Chance at all in Jack's Alley, and his signature drink was not made correctly either. Half the houses had zero actors in them, and the Scare Crow house at one point had zero actors or employees controlling the line. I got punched and shoved by a family behind me repeatedly in that house the entire time, and their excuse was there was a line. For $99 plus tax, I would say just go to the Las Vegas strip and get a cheap dinner or get drunk. I showed up at opening, which is 4pm and left at 6:20 pm with an unlimited pass. Had to read up on Yelp & Google reviews to get a gist of what to expect here. Living in San Diego, we've indulged in Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood. Paying that pretty penny for the VIP Experience. Seeing that Horror Unleashed has two types of admission: General (visiting each scare house/ once) & Unlimited. Then factor in, Nevada resident (or tourist) and the time of year you visit. Since our visit was a few days from Halloween- the price bumped up a few bucks. I like the staggered timed entrance. And with that in mind, reading past reviews- we knew the time inside the scare houses was quick and brief. After the first 2 scare house visits, we'd "catch our breath" and pull up to the bar right in front of The Monsters house. That's when we roamed further towards the back & noticed the Blumhouse/ Premiere House. We wanted some nibbles & hydration. From a quick peek at Rough Cuts menu- here at Premiere House- it's a different food menu. Tons of seats and you can watch clips from past and upcoming Blumhouse productions. We didn't want the advertised Chili Cheese fries. Just baskets of French fries. And, whoa! I'm curious if these are hand made fresh cut, made to order fries! I was able to get the Graverobber cocktail with Casamigos Blanco instead of Cuervo. Mixed with Chambord, guava & lime- it was sweet, colorful & tasty. Black Lagoon Bites: Pork & shrimp sui mai. About 5 resting in a savory broth of sweet chili oil and seaweed. If it weren't for my cocktail and glass of Liquid IV water, I would gulp all of that broth from the bowl. Cool take on Funnel'd Shrimp (3) tacos. Funnel cake fried shrimp, red cabbage slaw, & chili aioli drizzled onto the slaw. Red and green salsa, for more flavor. For the price of entry, yes- many mixed reviews about what you're paying for. But, if you come to just chill and take your time inside UHU, and watch others get scared by actors roaming around... it's a good time. I get scared easily! I tend to watch Horror/ Slash films during the daytime with the curtains open. The actors did amazing jobs. Instead of guests waiting too long in a line- staff will tell guests, the attraction will open in (x amount of minutes). Great attention to detail in the props, makeup, & costumes. Even when you enter a scare house and wait a few (timed entrance) the set up is amazing. For Monsters: you get the ghoulish graveyard. Scarecrow, you get that corn maze. LOVED how the wind blows and you can hear & see the corn stalks swaying. FUN FACT: For Texas Chainsaw Massacre- We Slaughter BBQ is a real location in Bastrop, Texas. Going back for the second time next week. I went originally shortly after opening and it was a blast! I see ticket prices have gone down a lot since which is good because I did think prices were a little steep for what they were offering especially compared to not only HHN at universal offering a whole theme park in addition but also to the other Area15 attractions. The four houses are HHN level and so much fun! My favorite part is unlike HHN you only go into the houses with your group so you are getting the scared EVERYTIME and I often fell victim at HHN to being right behind the people getting scared so missed out but that's not the case here! The shows are great; Jack the clown and some other small acts. The scare actors that roam are super fun and love to play along! There are two dining options, Rough Cuts is quick service and a limited menu then there's Premiere House which is themed to Blumhouse and has a full bar and menu. It's perfect for horror lovers and they have themed dishes! Most of them while good, I probably wouldn't get again but the Boiler Bread was absolutely fantastic and tasting it again can't come soon enough! You go through not knowing where the jump scare are--they let each party go separately. Very interactive and they even scare you outside of the haunted houses. I had such a fun time at Universal Horror Unleashed. Everything was so detailed, from the mazes to the buildings. You can tell they really put their heart into creating it. The actors and employees were amazing and made it so much fun to walk through. They were all so into their roles and really made the experience feel alive. My favorite maze was Scarecrow The Reaping. It was creepy in the best way and the design was incredible. We didn't try any of the food or drinks this time, but the Boiler Bar looked super cool. I'm already excited to go back next year. They have a cool gift shop to visit as well. If you like Knots Scary Farm or Universal Horror Nights, this is definitely for you. Prepared to get scared, loud noises, and people in your face, but in a fun way. They don't touch you, but they will linger. If anyone is familiar with knott's scary farm it's the same vibe. As a Universal Studios fan, I am impressed woth the production of this place! To be honest I get scared easily but I needed to see what it was all about. There are several bars I tried the Severed Pear cocktail with bourbon, spiced pear liqueur and bitters. Perfectly spiced for the holidays and presented in a smoky barrel! We even saw live performances of Krampus and the icelandic troll to bring in the spirit! The Scarecrow reaping and the universal monsters seem intimidating because the actors get very close to spook you but you're safe, dont worry! All the haunted houses had its own unique theme, and all the actors were very professional and stayed in character the whole time. My favorite haunted house was the scarecrow. So fun! Good food and fun cocktails/mocktails. The actors and actresses were amazing! Whether they had speaking parts or not they all stayed in character. The haunted houses were great. Plenty of scares and great scenery. Had a nice surprise when we entered because we did not expect the new theme to be Resident Evil which blew our minds! Great stage shows too! "Everyday is Halloween" - Ministry. Universal Horror Unleashed - open all year 'round except for stated closures and holidays. I hope this concept works on the general public because I even if I can see the beauty of scary things and Halloween all year around, I am not sure if this kind of venue will attract the majority of the population during winter or spring; maybe summer, because it's so doggone hot, and just coming here for the A/C would be a welcome (expensive) treat. PRICE: For 2 on a Sunday, one-time access to the haunted houses. You can stay in the venue as long as you like but you can only access each haunted house once. If you'd like to purchase an unlimited amount of entrances to all the houses, you have to buy a more expensive package. General Admission Ticket (One-Time Access)* $89.00 x 2 Tickets $178.00 Nevada Live Entertainment Tax $16.02 Total $194.02 We spent about 4 hours here, or about $49 an hour, excluding the $19 cocktails w/ tip and the parking fee at Area 15 (apparently now parking has opened up near Univeral Horror and you don't need to catch the free Tram or walk). I cannot compare this to the Hollywood location or Knotscary Farms as I have not been to either. CONS first: - horrible execution of having the main entrance in the blaring sun with no shade and no seating. You can walk across to a small area that has misters and some seating but you will lose your place in line. - ticket time said 2 PM admission on our ticket, they were late opening the doors, not how you run things with paying customers. - security check worse than TSA, with workers shouting and yelling with an inflated sense of self-worth. Security is important, but don't treat customers like criminals! They need to seriously sound-engineer the security check in area so it will stop echoing and bouncing off the walls. We could barely make out what they were shouting. - waiting time period to go into different haunts, which was OK with us, because we had nowhere else to go after, but if you're on a time schedule, you'll have to wait; make sure you don't have dinner reservations or somewhere to go after. - Scarecrow the Reaping had hanging 'cornstalks' that were made of rubber or latex and one of the 'leaves' poked me in the corner of my eye, posing a possible safety issue, and there is no choice, you have to walk through them. - gift shop w/ a really small amount of limited merchandise. I'm shocked at my own disinterest in finding anything to purchase. The only thing remotely interesting was Bates Motel-branded towel with 'blood' stains on them but the towels were thin and of the worse quality at $35 each, maybe more variety and a better price will boost sales. - pricey admission, but understandable, given the heating/cooling cost, property tax, worker's wages and compensation, maintenance, security, utilities, insurance policies, licenses, corporate taxes, red tape, contracts, etc etc. PROS: - high quality props and lighting, of course, movie-set quality. - most of the workers were very nice and in character - yes, it's a warehouse, what does one expect instead? Nice cooling and A/C. I loved the ambience, especially the bar with the steaming train. - pricey cocktails at $19 each but very good and buzz-worthy, a 4/5 star buzz rating (and that's saying a lot) - the shows are top-notch (included w/ admission) - clean bathrooms (for now) - free shuttle service between Area 15 to/from Universal Horror. You can walk it, but it can be brutal in the heat. - nice floor sets and displays - scare actors on the floor can sense if you want to interact w/ them and they will leave you alone if your body language suggests they stay away. - food options available (we didn't eat here). What would make it better: **Universal, hit me up if you want ideas. I won't charge you. ** - shade, misty and cool entrance w/ seating while waiting outside; protection from the elements. - sound proof security check in, w/ courteous staff - remove pointy objects that can hurt someone's eyes (hint: cornstalks) - creepy mind bending music and movements vs jump scare at every location - better horror/occult/dark but tasteful merchandise w/ elevated displays and more selection. The merch felt and looked cheap because the displays were industrial-looking and not very provoking or intriguing. Some of the lighting and props that were used in the haunted houses could be incorporated into the gift shop. - more cozy "nooks" and spooky crannies incorporated into the wide open industrial warehouse space, in tune with Meow Wolf type displays, where interactive spaces encourage participation. Hey, they should partner up. I am sure Meow Wolf can create some pretty spooky smaller rooms for Universal Horror. Return factor: Definitely will return. read more

This place was a blast. Definitely recommend if you like scary. The haunted houses are put together very well and the chainsaw one scared me the most. There's actors wandering the whole venue and little sideshows going on: all the staff we encountered was nice. We ate there and Daniel was our server. He's awesome. Something is missing and I don't know what but we had a wonderful, WONDERFUL time, and I hope this place survives and continues to evolve and create. Mazes were so fun and way more Orlando HHN style than LA HHN style with AMAZING effects, great scare-actors, and good pacing. We weren't shuffled through the mazes and that was a wonderful feeling. The warehouse itself was filled with a few shows (which were so fun! And very Vegas-y), lots of roaming actors (truly talk to them and interact with them) who really added to the lore and atmosphere. We did eat at the blumhouse themed bar/restaurant right when it opened and this was the most frustrating part of our visit. Again, the staff was sooooo nice but the bartender was overwhelmed. It's either understaffed or ill timed but I think pulsing patrons at the bar would have been better than letting in a wave. That being said, the drinks were alright and at the expected prices. The real star was the Boiler Bread which was FANTASTIC. If you enjoy pumpernickel and cheese get it, even if you don't you should still consider it. It was lovely! The gift shop was alright but lacked some weird touristy gifts like postcards, stickers, and more branded keychains. Or maybe they were out during our visit? Either way, I was a little bummed because some designs were amazing (the Vegas sign!) but the merch was very narrow. Wow, definitely disappointed. I'm a huge Halloween fan. I do the Horror events every year, at both Universal Studios Halloween Horror and Knotts Scary Farm. I live in Southern California, so I get to go to Universal Studios Halloween Horror in Hollywood California, as often as I'd like. That was the bar for me. Set pretty high. This could be good for someone who lives locally and doesn't have the ability to make the trip to California. I wouldn't recommend this event to anyone from California. You should just go to the Hollywood location. Don't waste your time with this one. It's child's play compared to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Hollywood. The mazes were mediocre and very short. Expect for the Universal Monsters maze. That was really stood out as being great. The production was there, the special effects, and the costumes. It seemed like the other mazes were the left-over costumes and actors who didn't care about their jobs lol Exorcist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Scare crow were not scary and they were lacking overall. Sure, the sets and production were good. That was across the board with all of the mazes. Which makes sense though, since this is a year-round event. It's not a pop-up event like Hollywood. So, the sets should be better. At least in my mind. They really need to add more mazes. 4 mazes for the same cost of admission as Universal Studios Hollywood, is insane. We need more mazes and scare zones. There was one scare zone that I saw. It was the bride and groom standing still, and then they would jump out at you. That was the scare "zone." That's really subpar compared to Hollywood. The Hollywood location has several scare zones with multiple monsters lurking in the shadows. It's super fun and scary. The bride and groom were not scary. Needed more actors, more smoke, a bigger space for the zone. It was tiny. Just a walkway really. They had a place for food and a bar. Sure, the themes of these areas were great. It looked spooky at the food area and the bar. Menus were limited though. Good luck if you are vegan or vegetarian or have some dietary limitation. More food options would be great. I did like the vampire photo opportunity they had. That was awesome! Right outside Universal Monsters, was two vampires. Those costumes looked amazing. Not cheap or gimmicky looking. You could take a photo with both of them. Super cool! We did all 4 mazes, walked past the scare zone, walked around the warehouse and checked out the food situation, all in under an hour and a half. So, we weren't there for very long. There just wasn't much to do honestly. Not worth the admission price. I'm imaging this when it gets more crowded, people packed in a small warehouse, waiting in long lines, with not much to do but drink alcohol lol Yikes! read more

Really hope Horror Unleashed can figure out a better strategy with this attraction. We went here hoping that being early would help us be able to experience everything, but only one house was open during their opening time and everyone there was forced to wait at the queue until it was fully open. I get the idea of running the houses as "shows" but not if it means having nothing open for basically the first hour. The newest thing to me as a HHN goer was the "showtimes" that the houses had, where some houses were not available until later, while others closed during certain times. It made it very hard to find a house that was even open. Didn't expect much from the food, and didn't receive much either-- the half reheated cinnamon roll thing I got was tasteless and still somewhat hard. The only thing really going for Horror Unleashed is that the mazes are at least a good length. If you do plan on going here, go later so you at least have a chance to experience all the houses and shows that are there. Again, arriving early means less people, and less houses to go through at once. read more

We had a blast. The four haunted houses were great, lots of scares, some cool scenes. The Boiler bar in the middle was a great break between the houses. Jack's murder show thing was so fun, great costumes and dancers. Meeting M3GAN was a highlight. We particularly liked that the people jumping at you and scaring you always kept enough distance. Super fun. Highly recommended. Also, I recommend going as early as possible, because the whole thing is enclosed in the dark and there would be fewer people. read more

I came here in my recent visit to Vegas and I was so excited and let me just say this place did not disappoint! Right away you walk in and you feel like in another real' all dark & creepy, we did have an issue with our tickets but it sorted out pretty fast. Then once we got in we were emerged in Horror awesomeness's!! I loved the decor, all the thought process put into every inch of the place. The bar area looked really cool but I'm sorry I'm not paying $18+ for a drank. The mazes were very awesome very scary, I loved that the wait times were not long at all. That you can really just enter the maze with your group and have that gap in between the next group. You even get to experience the little free shows and I loved Jack & Chance interaction. Got to do the egg scavenger hunt & I must say that was so much fun! Got my discount & I bought something from the gift shop. I loved everything about this place & I can't wait to see about some new mazes next time. read more

High production, low value. Your $100 ticket will get you roughly one hour of entertainment at UHU. If you've ever been to Halloween Horror Nights, this experience is simply a 75% downsized version of that for around the same price. It's chock full of the standard boo-hole jump scares, and a few pre-recorded voice lines per maze. The staggering of the line was only effectively administered for 2 of the 4 mazes, so we unfortunately caught the BACKS of a lot of scare actors as they were lunging at the guests in front of us. The one upside to UHU is that the sets are slightly more detailed than what you'd find at a seasonal theme-park haunt. All in all, what you do experience is enjoyable, but we found that our whole group left severely underwhelmed, especially after having dealt with their rude and oddly confrontational box office staff (on the evening of Friday, 10/17) when we were having trouble with our tickets at the start of our experience. One of the "box office managers" even left the window to get in my face and raise her voice at me while we were inquiring about solutions for our ticketing issue. It was quite uncomfortable and disappointing for our whole group who had been on the road for 5 hours just to get to the location, and spent more than $400 to attend the event. Especially considering that amongst us, we collectively have 3 decades of themed entertainment experience in managerial and creative roles, so to be belittled while attempting to find a solution seemed unnecessary and unprofessional. All in all, I would recommend the "Escape IT: Sewers" experience over this if you're looking to only spend on one immersive horror experience during your stay in Vegas. read more

This was absolutely one of the best attractions I have experienced in Las Vegas especially at Area 15. I could go on and on about the amazing staff that helped us along the way but I will start from the beginning. The entry is wide and allows for multiple people to enter at the same time. When you enter you will not be asked to provide your tickets until the second set of straps barring entry, or those seatbelt looking poles are connected to one another. Once inside however the outside's dreary look quickly turns into a sideshow event to be reckoned with. Along each and every line there are different looking knick-knacks and actors representing the houses they were assigned to. Random actors would walk around and talk to you in quiet whispers trying to get your attention, as none of them are allowed to touch you. All of the houses are completely unique from one another. At the time of this post, the houses were "Monsters" - "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" - "Exorcist" - "Scarecrow The Reaping" . Their esthetic and attention to detail was a sight to be seen. The lighting was vibrant and alluring and definitely brought a lot of the backgrounds to life. The jump scares had me and my fiancé bolting for the exit. The actors were all very friendly and kept to the rules of not touching. The favorite of the night was the Texas Chainsaw, but I won't spoil it. All of the drinks we tried were really refreshing, and the bartender makes a mean Cosmo as well! The food was all freshly prepared and came out piping hot! We ate at the Blum House "The Premier" restaurant and it was fantastic! The Boiler Bread was a great way to start off our meal, followed by the Jigsaw Pizza and the Brisket Sliders which came out in decorative colors of red and black to match the mood. The bread was amazing, the pizza was airy and you could taste the fresh flour still sitting on the dough. It wasn't a bad thing, as the pizza itself was just juicy enough with the amount of toppings and sauce that every bite kept my mouth watering. The Brisket Sliders were cooked just right without even asking, the onions were crispy as advertised, and the chipotle sauce gave it the perfect kick! We were very impressed with the food as we have not always had the best luck when it comes to eating out in Vegas at attractions. All in all, a few key takeaways: - Lines move fast, even if they seem long. - Houses do go on breaks, sometimes multiple houses at the same time. Plan your trip accordingly to ensure that you have ample time to visit all the houses due to said breaks. - Restaurant staff are amazing and will do everything they can to accommodate you. That being said, you cannot take leftovers with you. It isn't posted anywhere that I noticed that leftovers are not available for take home. This was slightly frustrating as my fiancé and I had ordered quite a bit of food and were sadly unable to take any of it with us, which caused us to cancel our request for dessert. - The houses close at different times so make sure to ask one of the attendants what the best route is at the current time to ensure you can complete them all! All in all, there may be a few small kinks that need to be ironed out in terms of houses shutting down at the same time, but luckily we had a very sweet worker who allowed us in at the very last minute so we didn't have to wait a whole 20 minutes and potentially not be able to finish all the houses before closing. She made sure that we were able to time all the houses perfectly tonight to coincide with our dinner reservations. All the staff are super sweet and very friendly. They make you feel like you're making the right choice sitting where you are in that very moment. Thank you to all the bartenders, the staff, the actors, and the creators of this attraction! Overall, the experience was so fun and worth the wait for opening!! The scares start as soon as you walk in and there's photo ops throughout the entire venue. The character actors are fantastic and are so willing to take pictures with you. The lines for the houses move quickly so you can get through them within less than 30 min, from the wait to the end. The jump scares are literally every turn and I lost my voice I screamed so much lol. Food and drink: the food was all fantastic! We went to premiere restaurant at the end of the night and I highly highly recommended the boiler bread and the brisket sliders. The bread is pumpernickel with this cheesy garlic spread inside and then it comes with this spicy creamy cheese dip that made it all just melt in your mouth! The brisket sliders had crispy fried onions on it with a chipotle sauce and it was so good! And I love that they made the buns red and black! The flatbread pizza was delicious too, and the crust is cut into a jigsaw blade and all the themed looks were so clever. We did not get to try rough cuts but the menu looked so good!! The specialty drinks at the bars were all pretty much the same. I had jacks juice and harvester of sorrows, both were so tasty and be careful bc they are strong!! At the restaurant my husband got a holy water and it was infused cucumber jalapeño tequila which has a very unique taste to it but was really good as well. The drinks were all very well made!! A couple things I wish would've been a little better... 1. There's 4 houses, and of course the actors have to take breaks, but the timing was really bad for their breaks because we just got there and only one of the 4 houses were open bc the rest were on break. When we got out of the first house we went and grabbed a drink and then went to the next. Tried exorcist, they weren't letting anyone in bc they were going on break again, and they said to go to Texas chainsaw. So we went there. Well they were about to go on break too and weren't letting people in either. The lovely staff were so kind to sneak us in the back of the line so we could get in before the break because at that time we still had 3 houses to go and only about 1.5 left before they all started closing. The lady at the house entrance was amazing! She Even checked in when she saw us heading out later that night when closing and asked me if we were able to get in to all of them, which we did! So very kind. Pro tip we learned: start earlier in the day!!! You can take your time and truly enjoy every part. We got there at 7 pm thinking we would have plenty of time but didn't realize they closed at 10 not 11 2. You CANNOT TAKE HOME ANY LEFTOVERS FROM THE RESTAURANT. No one mentioned that until we were about to get our bill and asked for a box. The server was very sweet, but I really would have preferred to know that ahead of time so we didn't get so much food! There were no signs or notices that they have no boxes and they don't let you take the food. I get why during most of the day so you can't take food into the houses, but we were at the restaurant the last hour of the night, all the houses were already closed and we had a ton of food left over. This was probably the biggest let down bc the food was so fantastic and delicious and we were so bummed we couldn't take it. There is also an evil clown show that goes on every top of the hour it seems right in the middle of the whole venue. We were trying to get through everything quickly, like I said we didn't get our entry time until 7, so we didn't truly get to enjoy that part of the show. We did get to see it from the restaurant where we were sitting but we missed a good chunk just bc of limited viewing. Takeaway: -There is a new parking garage right across from the horror entrance (we didn't know that until we walked up on it, parked all the way by the main area 15 building). -Also, get early start time tickets. We got our tickets for 7pm entry and did feel we had to rush to hit everything bc the houses start shutting down at 930, and the whole venue closes at 10. -Don't order more food than you can eat! You cannot take it with you -Wear any horror themed attire!! They all love it when you represent the horror!! We had matching main character shirts and got complimented every turn by all the staff. It was cool. And honestly every single employee was so friendly and helpful! Can't praise them enough about their hospitality!! Will definitely go back!!
