This was a booking we had found two days prior to our stay. Visiting Orlando for 3 days, so this was the most affordable for the accommodations we needed. We arrived around 7 PM and the staff at the front desk checked us in very quickly, which we really appreciated after a long travel day driving in from Miami. We reserved a villa for 4 people and it was surprisingly big: two bedrooms, three beds (twins in one room), a sofa bed (including bedding), a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and everything was fairly clean. The property is quiet and comfortable. Location was on the back side in the middle of the bottom floor facing the pool. We didn't use the amenities because we were out ALL day, but they have some fun things scheduled throughout each day of the week. They have several pools on the property as well as a mini golf and frisbee golf --just about a 5-minute walk to stores and restaurants and about a 10-15 minute drive to Disney. Overall, great value for a nice comfortable place to lay your head for a few days. Only downside: 1 remote control needed new batteries & our coffee pot was malfunctioning, but the hotel staff were able to replace both for us. *FYI- It is an older resort; appreciates its character, but could use a remodel & new carpet throughout. There was an area in our room that had an oder near the back side of the door. It's possible a cat was here at some point (?) and it looks to be the original carpet, so that shouldn't have been over looked and at some point the maintenance/ housekeeping crew should have steam cleaned the room or at-least that area. read more

We absolutely loved this stay. It was like having our own apartment. Working stove and full refrigerator allowed us to make breakfast for a fraction of the cost for breakfast included or a restaurant. We got rained on but were able to use the dryer which saved the day! The only down side was limited parking. If arriving late at night the distance to park and walk could be quite lengthy. Upon arrival (we got there late) the reception had their doors locked and they buzzed us in. That made me a little nervous for the area, but we did t have any other issues with noise or disturbances. We will likely stay again. read more

This was a really great place to stay. Staff was amazing the whole time. Checked in and took my belongings up with a cart, didn't even realize they had luggage carts. The unit itself was nice. I just wish it had a little more space for the living room and kitchen area. The bed was nice and large. I had the ac on the whole time, but the vent to the room isn't the best so it was hot sometimes even with the ac on 67. Some ceiling fans would be a nice addition to the room. The kitchen had everything except a pizza pan and pizza cutter. I also wish there were 2 more Tupperware containers, but we made do. We played bingo one of the days, and rented movies on a rainy day. Swam a few times in the pool closest to our building. We played mini golf the day we checked in with some friends. It was a lot of fun. We went to watch Frozen on one of the movie nights also. The only issue I had was the first night, people were blaring music next door while my daughter was trying to sleep, so security took care of it finally. I was able to order shampoo and conditioner and more towels easily. One of the days, I left my car lights on and my battery died, I was lucky enough that security was able to jump me and it was fine after that. My family has a timeshare here and over the past years, it has slowly diminished in quality. Upon arrival my father who is the original owner of the timeshare was told he was sent an email regarding the change of his room prior to arrival and that it was currently under reconstruction. He never received any email and was extremely disappointed that we didn't get the room we get every year on request. The new room we were given had a broken shower head which never got fixed, called for towel exchange and never got it, when I went to the front counter to get more, they didn't have anymore pool towels and "warned" me that I am not to come to the front to request towel and to ask from the room for them. When I said I did call, they said ok for future reference still call and they are giving me the towels I need as a courtesy. I called for toilet paper since it was never replenished, waited 3 hours and nothing came. Walked over to the front desk myself and the girl at the counter told me usually I have to charge you for this but tonight its free. Why would I pay for something your company is suppose to replenish and have in stock. Everytime my family or I asked for anything, we were met with fake niceness and then the person acted like we are bothering them for asking questions about their resort. There are no more resort events. Lastly, around the units there are sprinklers for the grass at night time, which reeked of rotten eggs and garbage. Very disappointed! read more

Rooms needs to be renovated. There were stains on every inch of a wall from past guest in the room, baseboards were nasty, outlets dirty & dingy and need to be changed or updated. Water takes a minute to get hot and smells a little. Carpet is lifting up off the floor....only thing that looks like it was probably changed in this decade was the appliances and they probably only changed that because they malfunctioned in the past. This is sad. Every Westgate resort I know in Florida I heard is outdated and they have old furniture and just not worth the time or money. This explains some of the inexpensive deposit fees and why they are so cheap because you get what you pay for. Smh read more

I read reviews on multiple places and booked it anyways. It was only for two nights with a park visit in between. The only complaint from the two teens was that we weren't staying for longer. Staff: very friendly Location: super convenient Kitchen: small but updated King suite: almost 900 sq ft. Clean, comfortable, perfect Pools: very inviting Fitness center: was used twice for a run on the treadmill, perfect since it was beastly hot outside. We were in 2-119 I would absolutely recommend this place. The ability to cook simple meals and to have extra space with two bedrooms/bathrooms with a washer/dryer was so convenient. read more

However, they informed me that cancellation is not an option, citing the agreement I signed. They have utterly failed to uphold their end of the bargain. Why should I be obligated to honor my commitment when they refuse to make the necessary adjustments to ensure all members can actually benefit from the membership? We had a two bedroom condo. I ended up sleeping in one of the single beds in my daughters room because the bed in our room was awful. I spent the first night in there and couldn't sleep. The single beds were a lot better but still not what I would say is good. If you can't get a good nights sleep, your trip isn't so enjoyable. You got to get well rested to run around Disney everyday all day long. The rooms were clean but the furniture is kinda dirty. Could use a scrubbing. I was very impressed that they do a weekly check on Wednesday with a dog that smells for bed bugs.. if they upgraded the beds and cleaned the furniture I would have given 4 stars. read more

Our first room was a fire hazard because of the wiring. We spent 2 HOURS packing and unpacking to go to another room and they didn't even care. Also the closets are super crusty and dusty. EVERY Single matress, chair and couch are at least 15 years old. 2 single beds and 1 king size all of them were INCREDIBLY loud and uncomfortable. the living room furniture looks like something you'd see sitting on the side of the road, dirty lookin. Our group included a married couple, single senior Dad, and two kids- age 4 and 7. I manage to get out to Orlando for Disney World once every 5 years. We learned after the first time to rent a 2 bedroom condo for economical reasons. I was VERY pleased with the price we were able to get on this 2 bedroom condo. The unit included a small living room with a fold out sofa, a bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a room with 2 twin beds. The kitchen was excellent and had all of the pans, dishes, etc. that you could need to cook just about any meal. The location was very convenient to the resort parks. We didn't utilize the hotel shuttle due to the times not being very convenient to our plans. We also didn't have time to utilize any of the excellent amenities however I did see others utilizing them and they seemed to be enjoying them. My only 'con' for this location is the beds. They are not very comfortable at all. I had read about this in other reviews and figured I would be so tired I wouldn't care once we came home from the parks however it was definitely noticeable. Overall, I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for an affordable, clean, and convenient location. read more

The first room we were given smelt really bad and gave my son hard breathing. We asked for a new room and they were quick to resolve the issue. The new room did not smell. The linens were clean. The apartment was clean and roomy. It is a nice suite with two bedrooms, living room, two bathrooms and a full kitchen. 4 pools, 2 hot tubs. mini golf, tennis, basketball, arcade room (but it is small) golf frisbee I believe. A mini market!. It was nice. We enjoyed the room, the privacy, the pools and hot tubs and the experience. Our only issue (the smelly room) was quickly resolved and that says ALOT. My family and I have been coming to Orlando for our yearly vacation for many years. The staff are always really cordial. The rooms are okay. I think the rooms especially the carpet and the tv could use an upgrade. The kitchen is nice though! And although the washing machine is a bit old at least they have a washing machine in the room. There's a giant pool and I usually see people using it. Nearby there is a Walgreens and a Steak and Shake. There is also a Winn Dixie grocery store, a chinese takeout, papa johns, and a halal place. You definitely need a car to visit further places though. There are a lot of shuttles that go to cruises, theme parks, malls etc. read more

The day after we got there the water heater in the building broke. Their only accommodation was to give us a key to a smaller unit to take a shower, every day and in different buildings. The units were older which is no problem but going from room to room for showers for me and my guests was very inconvenient and the though some of the staff was sympathetic others were oh well that's just how it is. This resort was amazing. Great service. 2 pools and hot tubs to choose from. Very close to many restaurants and stores for snacks for the parks. They offer a shuttle to get you to the parks early. We returned later that day and the item could not be found and we were told they did not know who cleaned the room. After our insistence another search was done and all of a sudden. Booked this resort via my job. It's a benefit they offer. Booked for a really good price at the end of August of 2015. It seems this is when all the schools around Orlando go back into session so the price was much cheaper at that time. Location: Place is about 5 minutes away in a car from downtown Disney. There is plenty of stores around for market shopping and also plenty of restaurants. We walked to the market and back, no problem. It's about 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes away from Universal. Plenty of Uber drivers to pick you up as well. Actual resort is clean and up to date, nothing too fancy just right. We stayed in a two bedroom two bath "room" - they are more like apartments. Ours had full washer and dryer in there. It also has dishwater, microwave, refrigerator and electric stove. You have dishes and cooking utensils included. Very nice, there were two immediate pools by our room that had a handful of people the times we went. Not crowded at all. They also offer shuttle service to both Disney world and Universal. Service The night we arrived was past midnight, they checked us in quickly and had security drive us to our room. Each time we went in there we were helped and everyone seemed professional and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. read more

Blue Tree Resort is a great resort to stay nearby Disney Springs, restaurants and the Premium Outlets. The resort is very well maintained and super clean. The rooms are updated with marble kitchen counters and include washer and dryer. The main pool is heated and has a children's splash pool area which my 3 year old had a blast playing in. There are another 3 unheated pools on the property, a mini golf, playground and volleyball court. The staff in the front desk were very pleasant and the check in was fast and easy. The resort is great for a one night stay or week's stay. I would definitely consider staying here for future trips to Orlando. read more

I stayed here over the weekend and the room itself was okay vut the service was horrible! They dont have housekeeping come clean the room the next morning bor do you get redills of the coffee, shampoo, towels, etc. They list stuff in the amenities but they dont let you use them "for safety reasons". They were just to lazy to come turn on the fore pit for us. The word "Resort" in the hotel name is way too big for them...they should be an "Inn". As they dont offer breakfast or coffee in the morning and they dont have enough parking spaces, as we had to search for a space and park very far from our room. read more

November 22, 2014 I've sent several emails and make several attempts to get information, steps to resolve this issue throughout the month of October and November and I haven't received any notification from Blue Tree Management indicating they are working to result my concern. However, Blue Tree was proactive to send the 2015 Maintenance payment stub of $576.46 on October 31, 2014 which is due January 1st 2015. I've repeatedly expressed my situation and concern over their tactics to discard my issue and continue to charge fees especially with a pending case to deed the property back. I'm pleading with government entities to step in to assist a disabled veteran in this matter or please point me in the right direction to resolve my case. We are from the north country so we come down every year. this place feels like home . it is like an apartment . It has everything you need for a stay. 2 bedrooms , one with 2 single beds , one grand master.The couch opens into a double also . we have a nice screened in patio with table and chairs . Movies to borrow.We played putt putt here, tennis a little basketball,sand volleyball and i beat my husband at checkers on an outside checker/chessboard.They have 4 pools and let me tell you, everytime we have come at least 2 of the pools are very warm.Never have been in such a warm pool.Grocery store in walking distance and downtown disney about mile n a half to 2 miles away. read more

Stayed mid-November 2018 in a "one bedroom, sleeps four" room. Good location, very tired furniture. Kitchen stocked with exactly four of everything, so a bit limited if you have two meals back to back. Decor is old and tired. Sofa cushions flat and well-used although clean. Centerpiece on dining table dusty (ew). Wifi reception so-so but better than nothing. We did not open the sleeper sofa; just the two of us. Pillows on sofa flattened out. Bedroom: mattress very old. one side had a "cave" in the spot where it had been slept in. Pillows were old and lumpy. Clean, just old and worn Good layout for one couple. We did a lot of research before booking this place and we decided on it because the reviews indicated the it was a hidden gem for the price. The resort is nice and the location is great. The room did not meet my expectation. I understand you get what you pay for, but this place was not that much cheaper than nicer hotels. It did have more amenities, but with simple updates I feel it could truly be a hidden gem. I'll start by saying we did not use the room to its full potential. We were only there at night to sleep since we had packed days. The Bad: My biggest disappointment was the beds. ALL of were sheets/ towels/ mattresses/ furniture were old. It was not dirty, but after many many years of use, wear and tear they should replace it. There were no visible stains or dirt, but I was not comfortable with skin to furniture contact. The bed sheets had turned yellow when clearly they were originally white. The A/C smelled and sounded like a swamp cooler. All the doors creaked, so you couldn't go to the bathroom without waking the entire floor up. The worst was the pull out couch. We were charged a higher amount because we had a 3rd person in our party. The pull out couch is advertised as a bed, but it was really as thin as a large mattress topper. It was physically painful for a person to sleep there. After the first night, they opted to sleep on the couch instead of pulling out the bed. That was impossible as well since the furniture was so old it made a ton of noise every time a person moved. The Good: These are small apartments, so they have a full kitchen. We bought some groceries and saved some money there. The pools are clean and well maintained. We were out the entire day, but whenever we interacted with the staff, they were helpful and courteous. The only annoyance I had with the front desk was that they charged me for coffee packages (sugar/coffee/creamer packages). I expected a complimentary package for the coffee maker each day and they stated only one per visit was complimentary. The resort is in the center of a lot of businesses, so we had no trouble finding food or coffee near by. From what I could observe families had a great time in the grill and swimming in the pools. I think if you have little ones or large groups this place allows you to stretch your dollars. I would only recommend this hotel if you're willing to sacrifice comfort to save some money. To me, their lack of attention to the rooms and holding on to their furniture past their lifetime; defeats the purpose of a comfortable hotel stay. Honestly, I don't think most of their stuff would be accepted as donation. I personally would not stay here again. read more

They provide wifi, customer service is great, they provide a variety of activities such as mini golf, game rooms, fitness centers, a market place to buy certain groceries, a grill, pools are located near every building, and they also provide shuttles to and from disney. The Blue Tree Resort is a great place to stay. I was welcomed by a friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I believe the kitchenette was the best part. There was never a need for me to eat at a restaurant. The location of the resort was also magnificent! It was ideally minutes away from Disney Word, Universal Studios, and Sea World. We just got back from Disney last night. It was our first time staying off-property, so ewe were a little worried about what to expect. We were delighted! Check-in was smooth and helpful (we had never stayed in a time share before) , and the room was amazing. Tons of space, and right outside of the pool! The kitchen was extremely helpful and that awesome king bed was so great after a long day of walking around the parks. We only had one incident, and it wasn't Blue Tree's fault. We were staying on the 1st floor. The people above us were so loud on our first night that it sounded like a herd of elephants were above us. Finally at 11:30 pm I called the front desk. They sent security over and asked the people above us to quiet down. No problems after that! Very impressed and wouldn't mind staying there again if the opportunity comes along! read more

The entire staff at this hotel was excellent from the front desk to the security guards. One of the reviews noted how old the rooms looked. I did notice a few things in our room that looked rusty or old but nothing we couldn't deal with. I thought it was a pretty nice resort for such a cheap price. The only downfall of the stay was the smell of freshly applied asphalt. The smell actually made me nauseous whenever I walked outside but the front desk was kind enough to move us to a new room.
