They were subcontracted out to do the work by Master's Heating and Cooling. I was told by Master's Heating and Cooling that I would be charged $35 per vent. The service was performed on June 8th2021. I was scheduled for a time of 1:00 PM and the crew arrived after 2:00PM. The crew consisted of three men. I have two complete HVAC systems in my home, one for the upstairs and another for the downstairs and finished walk-out basement. The first thing that we did was go through my entire home to count all of the supply and return vents of which there were 44 in total. The crew went to work on the downstairs unit first. They started with the supply vent in the hallway and then moved into my office room. I then took a seat in the back sunroom as they were working. They moved into the Living room next. They then moved into the kitchen and then to the bathroom and laundry room. I asked them if they cleaned the ones in the laundry room and they said that they did, but I did not see them do it. It did not seem to me like they could have cleaned them considering the time they spent between the bathroom and the laundry room. I also suspect that they did not clean the return vent in the living room. I never saw them clean this vent. The items that were in from of the vent were never moved. My wife was also home at the time, and she was in the finished basement working on a quilt project. Later on, we noticed that the items on a shelf that were blocking the return vent in her quilt room were not moved out of the way. I questioned the crew about this, and I was told that they cleaned this vent and put the items back in place. My wife told me that she never saw them in the quilt room or the closet and bathroom that join the quilt room the entire time she was in the basement. After the first floor and basement vents were done, the crew moved to the upstairs HVAC unit. I was charged $50 for them to move the vacuum. I disputed this with the crew. My reasoning is that since my home has twice the amount of vents that a typical home would have (I have two HVAC systems) that my job is really like two jobs, and they if they had done two jobs instead of mine, there would not be an additional fee for moving the vacuum. When the crew moved upstairs, I made sure to follow them around from room to room so they would not miss any vents. They completed the upstairs vents at about 9:00 PM. It was hot that day and we were without air conditioning since 2:00 PM. At some point in time, I realized that they missed the vent in the back room on the first floor, the room I had been waiting in as they were cleaning the vents on the first floor. They could not dispute this because I told them that I was in the room the whole time. After the second floor was completed, they moved the vacuum back down to the remaining vent to clean it out. They left around 10:00 PM that night. In addition. they missed vacuuming up the drywall using their shop vac, that came out of all of the vents as their covers were removed and replaced. They did vacuum up most of them, but they also missed a few. I took this issue up with Water Out on Monday June 14th. I spoke with the general manger who said he would speak with the owners of the company and get back to me that day. He called me back later that day and said he was not able to resolve the issue and told me he would be in touch by Tuesday. As of the time of this writing, Wednesday morning the issue is still not resolved. I would not recommend this company for this service.

The most important traits I look for when considering business transactions are honesty and trust. I don't want to question someone's motives in a business deal. I can assure you that Jen and Jane will not mislead you in order to make a sale. For the past 12 years that I have dealt with them, above everything else, they wanted to be sure I was happy with my home purchase. This is the second time I have bought/sold with them, which is the greatest testimony that I could possibly give. For three years, I searched for a home in the country. I had specific requirements: an up-to-date house that didn't require a lot of work to make it comfortable, no neighbors close to me, and a property that was low maintenance. I quickly found out that these properties are hard to find. I called Jen and Jane many times to have them show me places, or to get their opinion on whether the price was appropriate. Time and again, they gave me their input on the condition of the homes. They also looked up information and history on the septic systems and what would be required by the county. (I have zero experience with that). They wanted to make sure I wasn't buying something that would become a problem later. Keep in mind that in three years we looked at several places, and that they were not paid every time they did this kind of work. My point is that they never pushed me, and always went through a checklist of things to consider before buying. It was clear to me that their priority was to make sure I was happy with my decision. Whenever I called, they were happy to arrange a showing for me. Three months ago, I found my dream home in the country. Jen showed me the house, was honest about the pros and cons, discussed the price with me, and helped me though the process of making an offer. She was excellent at keeping me posted with details since mine was not the only offer. Within 24 hours of making the offer, my bid was accepted. Jen continued to help me out after the sale and set up another showing so that I could measure the house to make sure my furniture would fit. When it came time to sell my place, once again I relied on Jane and Jen's experience to let me know what things needed to be done before selling. They advised me to have a few things painted and made the arrangements to have it done. They also arranged to have some skylights cleaned and a couple of repairs done. It should be noted that Jane's husband is an excellent resource when it comes to questions about repairs. He has built several houses himself and is experienced in the trades. He was willing to take a look at my place and give his help. Jen and Jane also have connections with reputable tradespeople who do good work. This is invaluable since I am inexperienced, and we were working with a deadline. Jane and Jen both helped me set the price for the sale of my house. I trusted their experience in the market to do this. They held an open house and there was strong interest. They gave me feedback on all the parties who toured the house. When there were individual showings, they sent me emails with the reactions of the prospective buyers. Once we got offers, they discussed them with me and guided me through the process of selling. We made a counter on the offer I chose, and I was pleased with the price. My house sold in less than a month. In summary, I can't say enough good about my experience with Jane and Jen and the help they gave me over the years. They are so pleasant to work with that every encounter with them is enjoyable. If you are looking for realtors with honesty and integrity, you have found them, and you will be very happy if you use their services.
