Unfortunately, I have no more positive comments for this imaging business. I scheduled a Cardiac MRI in early February with a prescription from my cardiologist at Shore Heart Group. The AMI receptionist who received my call took all my information which included the prescription info from my doctor. Receptionist told me the earliest date for an MRI was end of February Friday the 28th. Being very claustrophobic and a Cardiac MRI machine being a closed tube for extended timespan, my cardiologist prescribed a sedative for my MRI appointment on the 28th. When I arrived with my wife at 10am for a 10:30 MRI, I already took my sedatives and signed in at front desk and presented my MRI script and insurance card. I was called a few minutes later by the front desk and the receptionist informed me that us that AMI does not perform Cardiac MRIs on Friday and had to cancel my appointment for this morning. I told the receptionist this was unacceptable and I needed to see the office manager. After about a 15 minute wait the office manager Javan Camacho approached me in the middle of the waiting room and explained the girl I called for the appointment a month back was not knowledgeable about the special scheduling of the Cardiac MRI machines which are only scheduled on Monday's & Tuesday's. I told them how unprofessional AMI was and how fast can he get me rescheduled and with a smile on his face he told me March 31st. I explained to him the urgency of my condition and he said he couldn't go any better with a shorter appointment time. Please beware when using this imaging business in New Jersey especially for a Cardiac MRI. I would not recommend this AMI center and especially the AMI schedule call receptionists who are very incompetent on the MRI service schedule days and hours.

I went there to have some spider veins treated so I felt better about my legs for my neice's summer…read morewedding. They said I have "underlying" vein issues that needed to be resolved before they'll do the spider veins. After 6 or more sessions my pain-free legs became painful. They filled the veins with glue or seared them together. The veins now feel like hard painful straws and lumps running under my leg skin. I now have large areas of spider veins that did not exist before. I am very unhappy about the unnecessary medical activities I endured at the hands of this clinic. Dr Louis is very personable, talking patients into getting work done they do not need, work that results in scars and PTSD.

(Referring to NJ locations) The Woman Dr. does not take responsibility for her procedures gone wrong at her Tinton Falls office. Overbooks and has a waiting room that is overcrowded. It has been about 10 months and I still have sores and ungodly looking scabs. While my leg discomfort was corrected, the medical neglect for the lingering red sores and scabs is a cosmetic disgrace. It is painful to wear stiff fabrics such as denim. I have been out of work due to the pain and red sores that hurt. I had to go to a wound center and they gave me special ace bandages that were like long thigh high stockings the prevented the pain from any thing like clothing that came in contact with the wounds. I can not do any landscape work or anything else that can come in contact with my legs. No professional tree climbing, horseback riding, or playing with my lovely dogs. I cannot kayak because I am not sure if I am going to get infections from the water. Off road cycling is out of the question. I am still recovering from being run over by a truck over a year ago. I suffer back and leg injuries as well. The doctor from the vein clinic at Titon falls claims that I too overweight and that it's my fault for the procedure gone wrong! How unnerving! I never denied that the procedure did not cure the chronic leg pain! I did not ask for inflammatory sores, scabs and cosmetic embarrassment. How rude to be called fat! I have chronic pain and PTSD. I almost died from the a truck accident, the driver was underinsured. I was run down and suffered cracked ribs, knee damage, foot fracture and internal bleeding. Today is the first day since the many attempts of getting some resolve that I final got some doctor's comments to be insulted about my weight and knee injury. How about some empathy for my injuries and that fact that I had to be insulted by the doctor in the background insulting me for my injuries instead of taking the call and asking me if she could be of help? How unprofessional and disrespectful.
