They are efficient and quick. Did my chest X-ray in Holmdel Imaging and I was done in 5 mins. I did not have to wait.

I have been to Holmdel Imaging a few times over the last 5 years. They were pretty good. Saw me on time. Did professional work in a reasonable time. Then there was this last time. To start I scheduled an MRI. It was easy to do over the phone an I got a convenient time on a convenient day not too far in the future, sooner than I would have expected. They sent a link to fill out my medical history, which I did. Then a few days before the appointment I went to the patient portal just to check. They had changed the portal. I had to re-register. Then I had to fill out my medical history again. Nothing had been retained from the previous form. And this was only the history, other forms were not presented. There were several places that told me to list items, but there were no text boxes in which to do so, A couple of days before the appointment I was left voicemail that it was delayed by one hour. The morning of the appointment I got an email that I had forms to fill out. The forms I wanted to fill out days earlier were now available at the last minute. Since the MRI was delayed I did have time to fill them out, otherwise not. When I arrived at the new appointed time I was told that I had filled out everything online so I could just take a seat and wait. I did, for one hour. When I finally got in I was told there was a scheduling conflict. The technicians were friendly and professional. The actual MRI went well. Two days later I checked the portal and the results were there. I waited to be contacted by my physician. Two weeks later having heard nothing I reached out. He said he had not seen any results and asked where I had it done. He called Holmdel Imaging. As a result of their system change they had not sent him the results. He said that I was not alone, there were many others. This is inexcusable. The entire point of getting some scan is to have it sent to the physician who ordered it. If this criterion is not met the entire exercise is worthless, no matter how good the people or the equipment. If it's not broke, don't fix it. They took a system that was working and they broke it. And they did not do a sanity check on the new system to verify functionality. They waited for the patients. It doesn't matter how good they were if the system does not work now. read more

Came for a CAT scan scan with contrast today first time I have to come for this I was a little nervous from start to end what a nice place so friendly so welcoming I didn't get the ladies name that greeted me the receptionist what a nice person and Nick did my CAT scan so professional so sweet took his time, calm me down I can't say enough I told him I was a hard stick. He reassured me that he will not stick me if he thought he couldn't get the vein just can't say enough I always go to Homedale imaging for my mammograms. I just think they're the best. What good service I can't say enough five star all the way. read more

If you have any concern for the health and welfare of yourself or your loved ones, I beg you not to use Holmdel Imaging for any testing whatsoever. My physician is in NYC and suggested I have a follow-up ultrasound performed locally for my convenience. Unfortunately, I chose Holmdel Imaging last Thursday after work. The technician was rude, with a miserable attitude reflecting that she couldn't wait to get out of there. What a great attitude to display to people who are there for health issues and are paying customers. I was told the results would be faxed in the morning. At 1 PM I called my physician for the results, because I was concerned, and was told they hadn't received the report yet. I called Holmdel Imaging as I was assured it was sent and "read" despite the fact that no one could know if a fax had been read. This went on with back-and-forth calls until the end of the day, offices closed and I had to go through the weekend still without my results. Monday was the same story. Out of frustration, I went to Holmdel Imaging Monday night after work and was told, "Oh, they had the number wrong..." WHAT?!?!? No one thought to confirm they had the correct number after two days. Fabulous. I took a copy of the report and left. When I got to my car I looked at the results. The measurements had more than doubled since my previous ultrasound 3 weeks ago and recommended biopsy for potential cancer. Up all night I waited to speak to my doctor who became immediately concerned. I ran to the NYC for an invasive and painful test because my doctor kindly squeezed me into her busy schedule. It turns out that the results the nasty technician and moron doctor who interpreted her shoddy work were off by nearly 8mm, which may sound inconsequential, but it's life or death when talking about a woman's uterus. I paid $1,200 out of pocket for a procedure because I didn't want to waste time waiting for a pre-approval and endured a week of unnecessary stress and aggravation. The money means nothing to me now that I had a repeat ultrasound by a competent doctor who knows how to perform and read a test. DO NOT GO TO HOLMDEL IMAGING for any important women's testing including mammograms, sonograms or ultrasounds...your health deserves better. I'd give negative stars if I could. read more

I went in for an MRI on my shoulder on Tuesday evening May 23rd, and came out more bruised and in pain then when I walked in. My arm is black and blue, my neck is sore, and my hand was getting numb from being so jammed in there. I had a few issues with the MRI and all the guy would say is that he'd stop. Not very warm and fuzzy at all. Next time I'll go somewhere else that I dont get so jammed and wedged into the MRI machine. read more

You will wait HOURS to get into your appointment. I don't usually post but this is my third visit and I have NEVER gotten into my appointment on time there. All the while there is a lot of chatting and hanging around back there - they must get paid OT with the lack of urgency they display with their patients. No one looks forward to a mammogram, but we all need to get it done. Early detection is critical. They have 3 D imaging which is so much better than a normal mammogram and now many insurance companies pay for it. Everyone here makes things so easy and comfortable. Technicians are fabulous and do things with very little discomfort. Clean changing area with lockers. They will even make your next appointment so you don't forget. So go get your boobies squeezed! read more

I have been coming here for years. And today they literally cancelled an appt on me while I was sitting in the waiting room and told me not to worry. I assume it's because they were behind by 30 minutes. I have childcare issues and they never even told me. When I asked them they told me to sit down that I will receive my services. The tech was great. so friendly and kind. But I agree with everyone else. The front desk staff could not be worse. Rude, difficult and lazy. I told them they had the script because they requested it in advance. The woman told me they did not have it, they did not save it, I was wrong.... then she looked in the file and there it was. I sent my son there for an abdominal ultra sound and in the middle of the ultra sound the tech asked him if he every had cancer. Obviously he was concerned and pretty freaked out. I called Holmdel Imaging asking why they would ask such a question and was told it was part of routine questions that they ask. They read a whole list of questions that they ask for history and he wasn't asked NOT one of those questions except if he ever had cancer. Why would someone do that. It upset our whole family and ruined our weekend. They really need to train there technicians on patient edict. I also want to put out there that I have had several abdominal ultra sounds over the years (one as recent as two weeks ago) at a different facility and was NEVER asked a question of that nature. I will never frequent Holmdel Imaging nor would I EVER recommend your facility to anyone. read more

This establishment was perfect. I had made an appointment prior, but the minute I walked up to the receptionist, I was warmly greeted. I only waited maybe five minutes before I was taken inside. I wish I remembered the name of the tech, but she was wonderful and made me very comfortable. The receptionist area was very clean, as was the examining area. I will definitely come to this imaging center again if I have to have an ultrasound done. read more

I have only good things to say about Holmdel Imaging but I have never been late for an appointment. I started coming here for mammography a few years ago, when I had a bad experience at another place (didn't tell me there was a concern, didn't call me for days and then asked when I wanted to come back in without telling me why I was being recalled) and every time I go, I have found the techs to be so comforting and professional. They understand my concerns and take the time to reassure me and go the extra mile to confer with the radiologist before I leave. I have no plans to go elsewhere. read more

I went to Holmdel Imaging for all my screenings, mammograms, x-rays.. etc. Technicians are always friendly. Wait time reasonable. Place is always neat and clean. However, I am giving it three stars today because of the attitude of the receptionists. I did not have the script with me so had to reschedule my appointment. Would have been nice if they were able to fit me in after I had called my doc to fax it over but it didn't work out. That's fine. It's just that they made feel like they couldn't be bothered. Very dry, unfriendly attitude. Going for a screening is stressful enough, it would be helpful to deal with nicer staff. It's the first time I've had this experience there. They've always been pleasant and helpful. Maybe those ladies were having a bad day today. Not chancing it: Won't be going back. read more

I was told they couldn't see me - even though I explained that I had taken the day off and that I would be happy to wait - no, they were too busy. Never have I had to deal with such rudeness and unprofessional ethic from doctors before. I already feel uncomfortable going to the OBGYN and the experience I had here just down right made me feel degraded judged and beyond uncomfortable. I went in for an exam and to discuss birth control and the practitioner Noelle listened to absolutely nothing I was saying nor did she discuss any type of options and risks with me. Instead she insisted that I go on the depo shot. She told me she would call it in and when I start my cycle to come in so she can give it to me. WELL they never called it in and after a week of me trying to get in touch with them they finally realized that they forgot to call it in but I had to wait until I got my cycle again to come in and actually get the shot. She told me to come in within the first 3 days of my cycle and they would squeeze me in. WELL it is now day 2 of my next cycle and when I called to have them squeeze me in they told me they can't get me in for another week and by then it would be to late and they wouldn't be able to give me the shot. So I went to the location to talk to the receptionist in person about what is going on and she VERY rudely told me that she doesn't know and she can't allow me to see anyone today. I explained that noelle insisted I go on this shot and it has been 2 months and I still haven't been given the shot yet!, I made the appointment two months ago to be put on birth control but yet they won't give it to me at the time THEY tell me I have to get it. I would have just went on the pill if this was going to be the case with the depo shot. What's the point of being out on a birth control if it's been two months and it's still not in my body....... if I could give this negative stars I would& I will be finding a new OBGYN. read more

I went for the X-ray on Nov. 4 and the X-ray technician was great. I needed the report and a CD to bring to my doctor. I asked the front desk lady if I had to fill out a request form to pick up my X-ray report the next day. The woman told me that I just had to call to see if the report was ready for pick up. When I called, the woman on the phone said I had to place the request online and it would take 24 hours before I could pick up the report. She said they had just changed this policy yesterday. Why was I not told about this policy. I am disappointed that the staff don't follow the same policy and I was told something totally different. This is not the first time, the staff gave wrong information to the patient. This happened one time I went for X-ray in Aug. and had to pick up a CD after the service. The front desk woman lied that the CD making machine was down, but I heard the other staff told other patients that they ran out of CDs and DVDs didn't work on the machine. The staff there often changed the policy to their liking at the time. read more

waited for near an hour and didnt get in. after some confusion i found they didnt receive and do all the paperwork even though the appointment was almost a week in advanced. they didnt even try to call to there other office too get in sooner.had to wait 5 extra days because they failed to check over the paperwork even though they said no worries just come to the appointment. they need better management. your dealing with sick people. no excuse! why wouldnt you look over your patient list for the day and make sure everything is ready. the appointment was late in the day. plenty of time. read more
