This is a great imaging center. Very clean and the parking lot is out there with plenty of parking spots. I had a MRI here and the staff was very professional and knowledgeable. Front desk was helpful and very polite to any patient. Although I had to leave the voicemail to make my appointment, they returned my call within two hours. This is a wonderful imaging center and it's because of their staff. Jennifer, Sarah and Amanda, who did my MRI's, were professional and friendly. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful with paperwork and copies I needed. There was practically no wait. There does seem to be something strange going on with the phone system because you always have to leave a message. However, they do return calls in a timely manner. I've been trying to get in touch with this facility since 8:00 AM, and it has been an incredibly frustrating experience. No one answers the phone despite my repeated calls--I've called five times! I even left two messages, and still no response. This level of unresponsiveness is unacceptable, especially for a medical imaging center where timely communication can be critical. I am now contacting my doctor to change imaging locations. How can a place like this stay in business if they don't even pick up the phone? I would trust the instincts of other reviewers. I wish I had. I explained to them multiple times I have severe hearing loss and was worried about communicating. Not only are they non ADA compliant, but also unfamiliar how to handle radioactive material as the melted my hearing aids. My Dr and the manufacturer of my hearing aids tried to contact them. I have used this facility numerous times and have had wonderful experiences. I will also note that I am associated with a Physician's office and the majority of our patients use this facility and have had very good experiences as well. Staff is kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that getting through on the phone can be challenging. read more

Also thank you to front office gals and Joanne! Last Saturday I was at this location for an imaging study my ENT had requested and there was an unexpected glitch with the study. I spoke to Ivette and related my concerns regarding study and everyone was very helpful making sure my concerns were addressed to put me at ease. As a lifetime medical professional now retired, I find SDI operating at the highest level in the diagnostic industry/field and consider myself lucky to be able to utilize their services for all my imaging diagnostic needs. As you enter, there's a distinct smell of cigarettes, the place is disgusting, as you look up at the light, you can see dead bugs collecting. We arrived a few minutes early, and another lady approached the window and asked how much longer it would be as they had kept her waiting 1hr15 minutes. My wife and I looked at each other, as we also had to pick our daughter up from daycare. The wait time was a little over an hour. My wife's test came back with a cyst on her ovary, and I was surprised the radiologist did not come out to speak with us. As a result, we had to return to the same location for another test, and then were informed that the test could not be done because my wife was pregnant, something that had been disclosed prior to making the appointment. Prior to leaving, we heard a gentlemen being informed that his procedure should have been approved by his insurance company, prior to them making the appointment. I was hesitant based on reviews. From the moment I called, to the moment I left, everyone was very accommodating and helpful. Having a MRI, especially when you have some health issues, can be challenging. All of the staff set my mind at ease as much as possible. Unfortunately I'm sure I'll need further imaging in my future. They have little to no regard for their patients making them wait over an hour after their appointment time and allowing others to go ahead of people who are waiting. Gena Carlevate did a procedure for me. I have never had a more caring, thoughtful, kind and empathetic person do a procedure on me. Gena was so thorough and supportive as I was scared. I was so impressed with her that I will never go any where else. I hope her manager Ivette Cuevas sees this. Kudos to such a wonderful employee. Numerous reviews advise it is impossible to speak with a scheduler. My experience has confirmed this. -- ALWAYS get a message saying schedulers are busy and will call back. Incredibly unprofessional and frustrating...either the management team isn't interested enough to read the reviews and act on the feedback or they don't care.... read more

I've used Shrewsbury Diagnostic imaging about three times now. 1. You can never get them on The phone - it's constantly busy so you have to physically go there to make an apt; 2. Every time I've gone I had to wait a long time; 3. Last time I had a cat scan done with contrast was the most humiliating experience of my life!!! I had a KID give me the test - he had me hold 2 glasses of water for over 35 min plus still hold it while he gave me the contrast!!! Are you kidding me!!! Then before that he tried to do a blood test - that didn't work!!! I was soo upset when I left there - needless to say I couldn't hold all that liquid!! I will never go there again ever - today I went to Monmouth Medical & had the same test done - no problem & they are so much more professional & know what they are doing!!! read more

So many issues and the receptionist was the rudest person I have come across in a long time. They had my prescription and said they would bring it to me but made me wait 20 minutes and they never brought it out. At that point I just asked my physician to fax another one because of this. I went to Shrewsbury Diagnostic Imaging on the recommendation of my doctor. I had a CT Scan with contrast performed. I told the tech that my veins were hard to get and that sometimes it helps to get the best person in the place to put the line in. He assured me that he was the best person there. I relaxed and let him do his job. He did not look at both arms to find the best veins. I was well hydrated, so I still was not worried. He put he needle in and jabbed once. No vein. He kept the needle in and tried again. He then continued to jab over and over, as though if he did it forcefully enough, he would get the vein. After the 6th jab, I said "this is not working". I was in pain, dizzy, and tears were coming from my eyes. He finally withdrew the needle. He tried the other arm and did get it on the 7th try. He seemed to think I should have told him which vein was best - blaming the patient for his inexperience. He did not listen to me when I said it was hard to get my veins. He did not get anyone to help when he couldn't get my vein. Shrewsbury Diagnostic Imaging needs to better train their techs on how to put IV lines in, especially if they do not get the vein on the first try. read more

You will have to go back to pay your bill here. The phone number they provide doesn't work. You can't pay with a credit card under a certain threshold. They have not set up their online billing portal. And after all that, you may even get a letter saying that you haven't paid, so make sure you get a receipt. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. I went here back in Oct the day before a cancer surgery for a last minute chest CT. My care team screwed up and realized in the 11th hour that I needed this test or risked my surgery being canceled. They called Shrewsbury and spoke to someone who said to send me right over. Well I get there and an absolute bitch receptionist void of any empathy or compassion, says 'we don't have any script from them. We will have to call.' I wish I had gotten her name but I was too upset at the thought of my surgery being canceled. I do know she had short blonde hair and was nasty. My husband comes in and I explain what is going on. He immediately gets the person scheduling the test on his cell phone. Crazy Karen won't listen and keeps yelling 'She is calling them and you can't be in here due to covid!!!' He is actually solving the problem and crazy doesn't want to hear it. Ummm ok! Thankfully my care team realizes this lady is many fries short of a happy meal and tells me to cut and run to another facility, which I do. I will never go to Shrewsbury again for a test and I get A LOT of tests done!!!!! This one crazy, nasty secretary cost this facility thousands just because she could not be rational and kind. I sincerely hope that when she or a family member is diagnosed with cancer, that they are treated with more kindness than she was capable of showing us that day. What a lowlife! read more

Went here once with my wife. Facility is not clean and not dirty but it left an impression of neglect. The waiting area is very uncomfortable. Desk staff was cold and "professionally efficient". There is no one to answer phones. Every time that I called, I had to leave a message. Once, I left a message at 9:15am on a business day and got a call back at 3pm! The woman who returned my call was very rude. She then told me that there were no openings that day but that they were open on weekends. I said the weekend would be fine and then she immediately said that the weekend was booked. I asked when they had an opening and she told me that the following Thursday at 9:00pm was available !!! This is customer service??? I went elsewhere. Never Again ! read more

Shrewsbury Diagnostic Imaging is quick and efficient! They do have an open MRI. i think the other reviewer has the wrong place especially since he lives in MA. The staff is friendly, attentive and always gets you an appointment quick. They have everything we need and it's nice to be able to go to one location and get all our testing done!! read more

Had a 8am apt for CT scan. Arrived at 7:40am. Completed paperwork in 3 minutes and proceeded to wait until 9am to be seen. I was one of the two patients in the place. Others arrived and were taken before me. I was told they are fixing the machine give them 5 minutes. Another 20 minutes went by. Truely test your patience. Like most facilities they GOT you. I couldn't take the wait any longer. I requested my records and left. I will go somewhere else. read more

Let me start by saying i have been taking my mother for dx testing and imaging since 2003 so I am experienced with these kinds of places, and we have been to many!!! 3 differed kinds of cancer, This place was by far the worst place we have ever been. They are rude at the front desk 7:30 am appt. only ones there and waited for her to hand the paper work to fill out for 20 mins, while she chatted with her co workers. It's dirty and the bathrooms are falling apart disgusting. They gave her the meds, and was supposed to take her back in exactly 1 hr from that time, well 1 hr and 40 mins later he came and got her, he wanted her to lay on a dirty sheet that someone clearly was on already, was rude when speaking to her as she has a hard time hearing as it is just plain nasty. In the back rooms where you wait the paint is chipping off the walls they are scuffed it looks so run down and old, this is nooooo state of the art facility. Now waiting for a copy of disc... so he says 10 mins, ok, well waited a half hour still nothing go ask he says I'll check on it, never came back after another 20 mins I ask the front desk, she comes back so rude and says"they are burning it now" that was a lie, another 20 mins and finally we get it. total time for copy 55 mins. 7:30 appt, didn't get out till 11:25. My advice stick with AMI beautiful facility nicest people truly state of the art! This place is gross STAY AWAY, if you didn't go in sick with something you will most likely come out with something its that bad. read more

It is very difficult to make an appointment with this group. They never answer the phone and even when you leave a call back message it is rarely returned. My wife and I have used them for a number of tests. I have always found it necessary to go in person to them for an appointment rather than wait for them to call. Once you do get an appointment they are very good, pleasant to deal with and professional. read more
