We had a very bad experience here. Let me tell you the facts. My daughter broke her glasses. She had gotten them at this place and they had a file for my daughter since they eye Dr. George P. Amegin refers us to this place. I guess it's like a one stop shop. My wife wen to the place at 2 pm. And the place was closed. Mi wife called before going to ensure they were open. She was told that yes they would be open until 5. My wife goes and the place was closed. There was people inside but they wouldn't open. My wife called and no answer then she called another location and they called that place again and was told they closed early. There was no sign! Mi wife finally gets to get them there and mi daughter gets her eye exam and orders her glasses. And was told that they would be ready today Friday. Friday came and she got a call from a gentleman that they were ready. Mi wife asked until what time will you be there. It was 2 pm at the time. He answered 4 pm. Mi wife was 45 minutes away and my daughter had 4 days without glasses and she decided to go pick them up. When she gets there at 3pm the door was locked!!! She was outside the building for 30 minutes!! People staring at her! Not answering the phone. She was called, she did everything right and this people lack professionalism. More customers arrived with appointments and the same thing the other person drove from Rio Grande!! When the person answered the door he was condescending to the customers. I wasn't there... Worst customer service experience. Would not give frames with options insurance covered in full. Diana stated it was because she would lose money on what insurance reimbursed her, even though 1) they were part of the insurance network and 2) had agreed to do so the day before. Called Superior Vision insurance with Diana with me. The insurance agent told Diana she was wrong and needed to honor the "covered in full". Diana refused. Insurance is opening an investigation. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and any other entities I can. I also found out today they didn't apply the options to the lenses last year which they told my wife they would. Frauds and cheats. Sadly, they claim to be Christian and yet act this way. Stay away. Far, far away. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I didn't stay for the actual exam. I checked in and paid, then realized that what I paid for was just a contact exam with a nurse (not a full medical eye exam with an optometrist/opthalmologist). I needed a full eye exam and contact lens prescription. They charge about $120 for only a contact exam (fitting) with a nurse. If you need both a contact exam and full eye exam, you must ask for the full medical eye exam. They will not automatically offer it and won't ask you if you need it. Not everyone knows to ask specifically for both. They said I could come back later to get the full eye exam, but I had to take time off from work to come in the first place. I asked for a refund and received it. I went elsewhere for an eye exam and contact prescription. Turns out I have medical issues with my eyes which need to be monitored. So I really needed the full medical eye exam! I wonder if they would've treated me differently if I had insurance (instead of paying out of pocket)...regardless, they should bear the responsibility of ensuring that all patients receive proper care - not putting the responsibility on the patient. read more

I wouldn't even give this a if I didn't have to. The guy that did my eye exam was so awesome now he deserves all 5 stars but the other 2 ladys are so dumb that's not even funny! I told the older lady from the very beginning that I wanted tent on my glasses four on top two on bottom it's called graded tinted glasses some people may even call it faded cuz it's dark on the top and lighter on the bottom being in Texas we get a lot of sun and by me being up in the day and sleep at night I always wear a tent which helps protect my eyes so the older lady was online with my insurance and said that she didn't have the option to tent it so I asked if she could tent it when it came in. So they give me a call and I asked if it was tented, 4 on top and 2 on the bottom, she repeated that my glasses was in and it was ready so I go in and it's not even tented they said my insurance company they sent it out to have made it polycarbon and they couldn't tempt it so I told him I didn't want it they can cancel the order however they said you know they'll try to tent it but it was only going to be come out as a number two and it'll be $15 out of pocket so pay the money and it had next to note that you couldn't even see it so I called my insurance company and they said to give it back to them and they'll send it back to the factory with the note saying that I wanted it sent it and it was going to be $20 out of my pocket I agree I said okay so I take the glasses back to them and there were rude they have been rude because I asked them about my prescription and what was my eyes is a 2020-20-26 20 20 what you know what is my eye vision number they did not want to answer me but forcefully I finally you know insisted on getting this information so they finally told me they still didn't tell me about my eye vision they just told me the prescription number my new one and my old one so I still don't have that information she was just so hard-headed and not giving me this information which the gentleman that gave me the eye exam had told me but I had told him I'm not going to remember he write it down he had told me that they were write it down on my receipt I had to ask them they didn't want to give me that information so anyways after returning the glasses for them to return it back to the factory to get the tent that I wanted they said no we're just going to cancel the order so you can go wherever you want to go and I said that was fine and that was yesterday and I actually had to educate them on graded glasses aren't they supposed to be professionals and you're telling me nobody wanted their glasses tinted so if the factory she sends it to does tent glasses but she just don't want to do it or don't understand how to do it on the computer what is she doing in business close it down open up a Rally's we could always use that or a Hungry Howie's pizzeria, Hungry Howie's and Rally's are cheap restaurants but they have really good food, Thumbs down all the way terrible place!
