(Luckily, I live very close) The lovely woman that had handed me my order just happened to be outside and recognized me. Immediately, went to fix the mix-up despite being what I assumed was her break. My order was corrected and everyone was so kind. Every experience I have had at this location has been beyond pleasant. Mistakes happen and this location gets very busy. What sets them apart from the rest is how they treat their customers and what could have been a negative outcome still ended up being a positive and friendly interaction.

I flocked to this place because the "original" price per gallon was significantly lower compared to other places. It's a small station close to the University of Maryland. There are only two islands for a total of 7 pumps, so when busy I would avoid. I did not need to go in, but there is a convenience store inside that also appears to be pretty small. Also a rarity a couple of bays for repairs. Debris was spotted around the lot and in the pump area, but nothing major. I pulled in, prepared to pump after swiping my card and it did not work. An employee came out and said it was broken and put a yellow bag over it. One would think this would have already been done as they seemed to know it was malfunctioning. The pumps were busy on a Sunday afternoon, but luckily I did score another one that was available. It worked fine and did have paper for a receipt. A satisfactory stop, but nothing to elevate to a 4. I did appreciate the employee coming out to me as well as the machine having paper. With no visit inside I am providing a 3.5, rounding down. I would return.

I went up to a guy in the service department who is sitting outside in the chair and he just looked at me when I asked if the pumps were OK. I proceeded to get in my car and drive to the gas station around the corner use the same card and get what I needed. Not only were the pumps not working but the employee who I spoke to didn't seem to willing to help. Why would I come here even if I'm desperate there's other gas stations around that have better service and pumps that are working.

Located nicely near the Collge Park Shopping Center and downtown off of Route 1, this is a nice service station with full auto bays to help a customer out with a quick fix repair. I rode in one Saturday on a spare tire after getting a flat while on a campus. Ugh...a Saturday in College Park MD! My wife was taking an art class so I had to deal with the tire replacement while she was in classs. These old fellas have probably worked in this station since the late 70's/early 80's. No problems...swaped out my tire for a new one and I was gone within an hour. Also, if you're getting more extensive repairs or an oil change, there is Plato's Diner within a short walking distance next door. Highly recommended if you're in a bind.
