I actually found out about this place while I was in the middle of doing a load of laundry at the other laundromat in town. I saw a flyer posted in a bakery about Cynthiana Suds and wanted to check them out right away. As soon as my load was done washing, I packed it into the laundy bag and brought it to Suds to dry. I took a quick look around the place, saw all the giant dryers, and asked the one other person in the building if there were more dryers. She pointed towards the back. Without thinking, I put my clothes in them to dry and...... realized I had put them in a washer. Oops! I misunderstood the woman and my clothes were extra cleaned (I couldn't retrieve the quarters or the clothes to stop the cycle). Fortunately, the dryers worked well and I didn't have to wait longer than 45 minutes for my load to dry. Whew. Cynthian Suds? It's clean! It's bright! It's new! Whee! It's kind of small, but much better than the other laundromat in town with several washer/dryer sizes, free WiFi, and a much more comfortable atmosphere to sit and wait. Or, if you're like me and prefer to spend the wait time walking around town, the main area of town is just a few blocks away. The parking lot here is a bit tricky, but not too bad if there's only a couple people there. Definitely coming here from now on.... until I acquire my own washer/dryer.

The owner pointed me towards a machine he thought would be a good size for me. However, once I started to load the washer, I realized it was far too large and I started to look for one that was smaller and cheaper. He came over looked inside and said, "No, it is fine" and then closes the door to the washer. I protest more that I want to move to a smaller washer and he insists that it will not fit. My washer wasn't even halfway full... He then grabs my quarters and starts putting them in the slot, pretending like i don't know how to work the machine. And when I try to open and move it again, he tells me it is fine and closes it. So, I just let it go and told myself that it wasn't worth an altercation. He is openly trying to scam me, which I really don't appreciate. And assuming that since Im obviously not from around here that I do not know any better. I will not be coming back.

I have always went later in the evening & never had issues but tonight against my better judgement I left long enough to get some dryer sheets & when I returned the lights were off & the doors locked. I immediately panicked & tried to get ahold of the owners on Facebook or any number I could find with no luck. there worker Kim said she couldn't help me, that she didn't have access to the severity system. I begged for her to get ahold of the owners just so I could get my clothes out and take them elsewhere to dry, she said there was nothing she could do. Now, not only am i out the gas & money and detergent I used, now my clothes will be mildewed & will need to be rewashed.
