I will start positive, Dr. Harr is amazing. However, the receptionists (any many other staff…read moreaccording to these reviews), are not very pleasant. Every time I've talked to someone on the phone or in person they are always SO mean and act like whatever we're talking about is a an absurd inconvenience. They seem like they don't have any compassion. I thought maybe they were having a bad day so I tried to be light hearted and nice... they were still so rude and acted very cold. My dog (Pomsky a little over a year old at the time) has issues with aggression primarily when he's sleeping and some resource guarding habits. This developed after having a cyst on his head. When we brought him in to get it looked at and for his shots, the doctor and assistant, knowing his issues, brought him into the back? I've always been in the room while they've given him shots and he's done amazingly. It's because of the pain he was in that he wasn't friendly. They reported the bite, understandably, but couldn't it have been avoided if they had just NOT taken a dog with aggression away from its owner? They told us we had a to do the "chill protocol" which basically means we brought him back the next day and gave him some melatonin and pain medicine before bringing him in. He was very distraught and confused, I understand why they wanted to do it, but it just left him a lot more scared of everything than he needed to be. They cleaned and drained the cyst as much as possible but they also created severe anxiety for him and he will probably hate every vet I take him too. I'm going to bring treats and see if we can make it positive again. I do NOT recommend coming here at all. Not to mention they charged me almost $1000 for the two visits?! We didn't even have the cyst removed (couldn't afford it). That's ridiculous. The cyst is back now and he just turned two as well so we are going to go get his shots done and schedule a surgery for removal. I will NEVER step foot in this place again.

Perfect example of why...I just went into Kryder to register my pets in St Joseph Count because the Humane Society website says you can to do it at ANY vet. Kryder followed this guidance and did it last year since my vet is in Michigan. The attendant looked at me like it was an imposition since I wasn't a customer. This IS exactly why I took my pets elsewhere...increasing prices, limited hours and waning customer service.

He had to stay there over 4hr until he paid! I sent him the $$ as soon as I woke up. I'm disappointed and disgusted that he couldn't leave. My question... If he was not BLACK, would the outcome have been better? It's a shame! I give one star because his puppy was treated properly.

They did a urine test and gave us some pain meds for him. The next day no results from test, the day after that I called and was told I would get a call back. Nope! Day 3 I called again, at this point my cat is peeing blood. I knew for sure he had a UTI, yet the vet said it's not likely. At this point I've already paid over $200. So day 3 and after being put on hold for 30 mins, I'm told he has blood in his urine. -.- well no crap! So then she tells me they don't see anything else, and they can send off for a culture which is $400! I said no, all I want is him to have some Amoxicillin. So she tells me the culture will tell them what type of antibiotics to use because they don't work the same. lol.. keep in mind I'm not a vet but I know amoxicillin kills ALL BACTERIA/INFECTIONS in the body. So day 4 I take my cat to get this antibiotic shot, another $69, I look at the invoice and they gave my cat medicine FOR SKIN WOUNDS!! So here I sit and my cat is still peeing all over the place only now he is crying!! So the vet clinic is garbage and greedy!! It's all about taking your money and keeping your animal sick!! If my cat dies because of their negligence. I will contact my lawyer!!! Update** After leaving my review on this horrible vet. I took my cat to the emergency vet. After dropping another $350 they proceeded to tell me my cat indeed has a UTI!! THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING FOR 2 weeks!! And what do they give me? AMOXICILLIN!! This is what Lakeland should have done from day one. So now my cat has a bladder full of blood and is considered high risk for blockage which can kill him!! This is a thousand dollar blue point ragdoll we're talking about!! Lakeland is careless and if I wouldn't have taken my cat to the er he would have died!! I called today and wanted a refund for the negligence and crap education the vet wasted her money on!! She refused!! You know why? Cause they dgaf about your pet!! All they want is money. Ya well guess what Lakeland!! You'll be hearing from my lawyer!! Clearly your idiots don't know a damn thing about CATS!! It shows in other reviews!! I'll be damned another cat goes through what mine currently is. Karma!!
