Happened upon this amazing shop while heading to a party and I am so glad I did!!! The shop is clean and the ladies there are so nice! The service I received was to help with calluses and make my feet soft and boy did it! The ladies are amazing at what they do and the pedicure is top notch! Don't even get me started on the chairs!!! They are top of pedicure chairs with a million functions not only do you receive a massage but you don't have to stretch you legs into the basin the chair moves you into it. Reclines to a relaxing angle and makes the pedicure so enjoyable I don't see myself going anywhere else!! So I've been going to the salon for about 6 years. Made an appointment for 6:00 p.m. got there early was there by 530 well 615 rolls around Asked Sueu how much longer another 15 20 minutes. So I would have been seen till like 640. Unix Nails is the best place I've been to in the Pflugerville/Austin area. All the technicians are friendly and their service is superb! The massage chairs for pedicures are by far the Rolls-Royce of all chairs in town! The technicians take their work very seriously and are never rushed. They take their time with each customer. If they are busy, they will be honest and ask you to come back and give you a time. You can make an appointment if you want to set up repeat service with the same technician, but you don't have to. Best solar nail work I've seen, best deluxe pedicure (with long massage) and best eyebrow wax. I can't say enough, they are just amazing. I'm almost afraid to write this review for fear they will get too busy and I'll have to plan ahead more to get time with them!!! read more

I drove by on Christmas Eve and their sign said opened, so went in and asked when do they close, one lady asked me instead what would I need so I tell her "just a simple pedicure". She said it will be about an hour if you want to wait, I debate for few seconds and agree to wait. The time I walked in is 4:26pm. Finally one of the ladies there is done with the previous customer so she's inviting me to sit in one of the pedicure chairs, it's about 5:36pm and I suddenly go thru the most painful sadistic pedicure of my whole life, one ridiculous so called "massage", and I'm all done by 5:48 when I'm already signing my credit card receipt! So it's about 12-13 min pedicure!!! Let me tell you that I was into an accident and have plate and 17 screws into one of my feet, I don't need any scrubbing of my feet because I do use lotion/cream/oil after showers and I always scrub my feet!!! I do not recommend this place not even to my enemy!!! Cutting my toenails is a torture, massage was so painful, every single screw was pushed and moved, I like to have my toenails round and smooth edges, but I walked out with corners and rough edges. I told the lady I'm coming back for her to finish what she started and she said she doesn't work any of the days I suggested. There are many places that want my business! read more

If you value your nails, don't go here. I tried this place out because it's a convenient location for me, and I'll never go back. I have shellac polish, and the lady used an electric drill file to remove my old polish. Again, she used an electric drill file ON MY NATURAL NAILS. I have been going to this nail shop for years and when I stated my feet were a mess. Over the years these ladies have done miracles for my feet. Went there this past weekend and they have new chairs and I mean these things are so awesome it is hard to describe. You get your feet don e and a back massage it just awesome. Located in the Pflugerville Office Park this is a place you should not miss. Guys are rare there but I have always been welcome and been helped greatly. Really good nail salon. Clean. They keep a box with a file and buff block just for you. They are really nice and friendly, without being so chatty that you cant relax. They are big on up selling other services, but they aren't overly pushy about it. read more

I went and my acrylics were poorly done. They were misshaped and not painted well. Nail polish was left all over my hands. I went back to try and fix them, I asked for a different person. They gave me the same girl(not listening to me about wanting someone else) and her work was yet again sloppy. She was obviously upset about having to fix them. She redid them in less than 10 minutes, if that tells you anything. After saying I was unhappy again several workers crowded me and told me they looked fine. Frustrated, I asked for a refund. They said it had been too long for them to do that, I had gotten them done the first time the day before. read more

I went to this salon for years and swore I'd never go anywhere else. Then I started to notice that my favorite nail tech was no longer massaging my arms or hands after a manicure and she was using the drill thing to get rid of my cuticles. I paid for the deluxe pedicure deal but after a few times noted that it wasn't any different than what I'd had before. Nail dust was everywhere. Nail trimmings. They would shake out the towels used for mani's and re-use them. Ick.The last straw was when I got a very serious nail infection. I almost lost the nail and it took almost 2 months to heal. The nail is still kind of deformed. They never used sterilized separate packages of nail tools during the years that I was a customer. Such a shame because they really do give the best pedicures and leg massages. That is the only reason I am giving them 3 stars. read more

For a long time I couldn't get my nails done because I am allergic to most of the chemicals for "fake" nails. Unix has a product that is awesome and I don't have that problem anymore. I have been going to them for about 10 years and won't go anywhere else.. I LOVE the deluxe pedicure, it is the best in town. I feel pampered every time I go there. We moved to Pflugerville about 4 years ago, and I was so thankful for getting my eyebrows waxed here! They took extra time and gave little mini massages during the waxing. I went on December 16th to get my eyebrows waxed, and it was not the same experience. I felt rushed and like get me in and out as quick as possible. After I checked my bank statement today (Jan 2nd), I noticed I had been charged twice for the same waxing. I called the salon and asked what happened, and she said that she didn't have time to look into it. That I needed to call my bank and my bank would refund the money. That the last lady this happened to just called her bank and they fixed it. The fact that she didn't have time to find out why I had been charged twice, and the fact that it seems to have been an ongoing issue is not ok. I would find another place that will not double charge you for a simple service, give mediocre treatment, and then refuse to apologize or offer a refund is not the way to do business. I will NEVER go back! read more
