Today, after all the problems and lies I had with my local Can-Am Sypder dealer (Cernics Cycle World), I trailered my bike (because it was in limp mode) to Unlimited Cycle, about an hour and a half away. Expecting to drop the bike off for them to work on it the next day (the day I had it scheduled for). But Mike at Unlimited Cycle ask me to wait while they put it on the BUDS and give him a half hour. So, since the wife and I skipped lunch to trailer the bike over, Mike suggested to us a good place to eat. We returned in about an hour, and Mike was done and said the bike was ready to go. After Cernics Cycle World played with my bike for 3 months and want another 8 hours of labor to troubleshoot (at $150/hr) plus parts would cost me $2,000 to $3,000 to repair. Told them I would just take my bike and drove it home in limp mode (about 5 miles). Mike from Unlimited Cycle told me the problem was the sensors were either not set or set wrong after Cernics worked on the front end. My total cost today to get it up and running again from Unlimited Cycle was $53.00. They reset the BUDS. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO MIKE AND UNLIMITED CYLCE FOR THEIR GREAT SERVICE. 1- Drove 600+ miles for utter disappointment. 2-Motorcycle prices strict and nonnegotiable. 3- Unable to test ride any motorcycle, only able to start it in showroom... 4-Establishment closed at 6pm...I was asked if I was going to buying the bike because they were closing soon. I requested they remove shotty LED lights from motorcycle (2wires) and to restart the bike to see if it was ok...they said there wasn't enough time for the mechanic to perform. -I felt like I was being pushed out the door. -I don't understand how this establishment can sell bikes without the CUSTOMER being able to test drive?!? -They could have had a CASH...out the door sale-if I could have had the opportunity to just test ride in the parking lot... Drove 3 hours to see a couple bikes. No salesperson available. Told me I was 16th in line to speak to one. Brushed me off after trying to reasonably negotiate. Talked to me like I was inexperienced. No test ride, not even in the parking lot. Picked out bike. Offered full price. Was to return after the weekend to buy it. Was told title want available. A week later, no title. Two weeks later title came back incorrect. They told my it could take another 3-4 weeks. I assumed they would call me when title was avail. Nope! I've also been checking online, it's gone! Total BS. This place cares about flipping bikes as fast and careless as they can to make money. I am so glad my money went somewhere else on a better bike. Don't waste your day on this place. Can't even say it was poor customer service because there was NO customer service. Employee (can't call him a salesperson) told us he would not go over the bike with us, said he didn't know anything about the bike. No test ride, if you have a problem they have a 24 hr return policy. The feeling that they didn't need our business came across loud and clear, so they didn't get it. Miserable experience from start to finish. Drove 2.5 hours to purchase my son his first motorcycle. Got there and the staff pretty much could care less about selling a bike or making a customer happy. Your employees have zero customer service skills and have personalities of rocks. I personally would have walked out, but i unfortunately let my kid spend his hard earned money at your business, only because we drove 2.5 hrs to see the bike and couldn't find one closer at this time. 1. Walked in right past 3 employees, not a one said a word to us.( not one other customer in the store) 2. Looked around for 20 minutes before anyone approached us. 3. DO NOT BUY FROM UNLIMITED CYCLE IN TYRONE, PA. Bought a bike from Unlimited from Jude, the salesman. Confirmed the purchase and put $2,000 down on my credit card - gave them the credit card number which they took. Sent a picture of my drivers license - front and back. Jude assured me the bike was mine. An hour later I get a text, not even a call, that "there might be an issue." Turns out someone else was coming into look at it. I told Jude I gave my credit card number, $2,000 down and was in the process of wiring the rest of the money as we discussed. It should be noted they would only take $2,000 on a credit card before charging a fee which is why the bank was wiring the rest. I asked to speak to the Sales Manager. His name is Joe. What a joke he is. He said someone was coming 2 hours away to "look at it," and if they did not want it, then I could get it. I informed him I already put $2,000 down on my credit card. Note the price was $8,500, so this represented nearly 25% of the purchase price, with the rest being wired as agreed to with Jude. Joe refused to honor the sale. I called Ron Bush, the President. After being on hold for half an hour, with them saying he was on another line, I hung up and had to call back. I finally reached Ron, who first told me another customer put a deposit down. I informed him that both Jude and Joe told me they had in fact NOT put a deposit down, but were simply "coming to look at it." Ron told me they put a deposit down with out even knowing that to be true. I asked Ron to honor the agreement and the down payment and he told me he does "not really run things, Joe does." I reminded him, HE IS THE PRESIDENT AND JOE WORKS FOR HIM. Ron then told me that they sell thousands of bikes and "these things just happen." No Ron, these things don't "just happen" at respectable businesses. If you take someone's credit card (money), their license and agree to a deal, then you honor it. I have been wanting to come visit your shop for several years, and today we decided to take a little road trip and make it happen. I was so excited! We buy LOTS of toys (street bikes, dirt bikes, quads, etc) from local dealers but wanted to see what your shop had to offer; I have spent many hours exploring your website over the past few years. Upon entering your store, I was not disappointed. So many beautiful machines! While we were pondering the purchase of one of your bikes we happened to bump into one of your parts or service associates- he was kind and helpful, an asset to your company. We then decided to look at the Spyders before inquiring about the motorcycle we were interested in. I have wanted a Spyder for many years and am ready to make the purchase. Leaving these machines we headed towards the sale desk. Before we could reach the counter the salesman raised his voice and addressed us, "Sorry guys we're closing up, time to go". My husband indicated we would be interested in purchasing a bike, I said it didn't seem like that was an option....the associate told me he "didn't appreciate my attitude". Are you kidding me?? He then proceeded to inform us that he had a family to get home to and we should come back another time. I hope he's not trying to feed them off his commission. I didn't expect him to stay open late to accommodate us but there is certainly a better way of going about it. AND, I have bought many many machines after business hours- it's not that unusual. This young man continued to make many snide and disrespectful remarks to me regarding how much he works and how valuable his time is. I work, in a customer driven industry- and this is not the way to do it. He didn't appreciate my attitude and I will tell you what else he's not going to have a chance to appreciate- my business. Not only would we have come back to buy the Harley, but like I said, we buy lots of toys. You have lost a potential life time customer. After deciding I wanted to buy a motorcycle from a dealership instead of a private sale, I took the leap of faith to drive 2 hours in one direction and check out this place. I'll be honest, I had no issues with the customer service, the people were very nice and easy to work with. They answered questions I had and allowed me the time I needed to check out their inventory. They had a decent amount of bikes available (over 200+). I ended up purchasing a 2003 Harley Sportster 883cc Custom 100-year anniversary edition with low mileage, I paid $4,900 cash. They inspected it and had everything ready to rock and roll on the spot. Fast forward 3 weeks later and my primary oil only had 9 ounces of fluid in it (there were no leaks once I brought it home, I inspected the bike every single day and there was nothing on the ground), instead of the required 32 ounces. My clutch locked up on me while riding and unfortunately resulted in my bike being thrown out from underneath me with a mixed set of conditions. The bike was totaled and my left clavicle (collarbone) was shattered, I ended up getting surgery and acquiring a 7" plate across my collarbone on the left side. I am currently still recovering. When I called and brought this situation to their attention (that the primary oil was severely low and should not have made it through PA inspection, after only riding the bike 600 miles in 3 weeks) they blew me off and the general manager never called me. So I say all that to say this, avoid this place at all costs. The whole reason I went through a used "dealership" was for peace of mind that everything would be thoroughly checked when taken through inspection, unfortunately, that was not the case and they cannot be trusted. If I could give them 0 stars I would, but that is not possible. I now have multiple medical bills, a plate in my shoulder, and time off of work due to this accident that was caused by something overlooked in a simple state inspection. read more

We bought a sportbike here last week. After the deal was done and the paperwork was signed, my partner and I were walking to the back of the store to ride the bike home. We find out the dealer would not inspect the bike because of the turn signals. We were ready to just cancel all of the paperwork and leave the bike there but we really wanted it. The turn signals needed to be 3 inches outside of the bike for it to pass. The people there said, "Well, nobody really gets their bikes inspected." Ummm......we do! They said we can take the bike somewhere else and as a "big dealer" they don't inspect modified turn signals. That's fine, but they needed to tell us this before the sale. The salesman was nice, and genuine. However, this dealer seems a bit shady and chances are we will look elsewhere before we buy a bike here again. The selection of bikes is great and the prices are in line with the other dealers. The fact they wouldn't inspect their own merchandise is a bummer. read more
