Though it was a lot of material to cover in 4 days, Michael's enthusiastic attitude and many wonderful stories that pertained to the topic at hand really helped make it a great and memorable learning experience. He was also open to any questions during lectures, which really helped me to solidify my knowledge as we progressed through the material. On 10/24 I took my exam and I'm happy to say I passed! Thankfully, VERY happy to report that it still worked for me (due both to your training, excellent guides that Educate 360 provides, and my years of PM experience). I personally did the in-classroom education on the weekends (8 hours on Saturday and Sunday for two weekends in a row). While it is a lot, I knew that it provided me the focus to concentrate which I knew that I would struggle with keeping focus for that long on-line throughout the week after a long day at work. It really depends on what you think will work for you but thankfully the program offers a lot of different options to fit your needs. Their website learning path also has practice exams, plenty of quizzes, and videos to help you practice in between boot camp sessions prior to actually taking the exam. On to collecting PDUs to make sure it never lapses :) *Note: the class doesn't include a copy of the official PMBOK and other PMI guides (although they provide/teach all the same concepts albeit in their own format) but you do get a free digital copy of these if you become a PMI member.

John was extremely knowledgeable about the test, content, study strategies, tips/tricks etc. He was able to tailor the class to suit the needs of different students, and was always available for after class questions. In my first practice test I got a 161V and 156Q, so was fairly nervous about boosting my quant score to my target of 165. John not only helped me on my quant weak spots, but also was a positive voice throughout my studies and kept me optimistic. Studying for a big test can be pretty isolating - especially if you have no friends studying for something at the same time (..i.e. this was my experience) so it was incredibly helpful to have a class & instructor that kept me mentally motivated. The Manhattan materials (books, practice tests, online resources, 5lb book (!)) are also top notch and better than those I've seen from other prep courses. I ended up getting a 164V/166Q/5.5 & I'm not convinced I could have done it without this class. I maybe could have eventually, but you don't want to spend forever studying for a test when you (presumably) have apps to focus on. Take Manhattan with John! It's 110% worth it - will make your studying smarter, faster, and less stressful.

His sessions were well structured. We covered all content and strategy areas but he also offered helpful feedback on the ones I should prioritize based on his assessment of my strengths and weaknesses. I hit a wall in my studies about halfway through and struggled to maintain confidence that I could reach my test goals and, more specifically, improve my quant score. John was really supportive in a genuine way. He helped me reframe my thinking around my studies and adopt a new approach that worked better. I got V164/Q168 (this hugely exceeded my Q164 goal).

So far I have take two courses, covering 4 total levels (Basic A-C and Intermediate A). They also offer less intensive classes as well as private and semi-private options as well, but considering I was looking for conversational practice I chose the group option. Bill (the director/owner of the program with his wife) and all of the teachers are friendly, attentive, and do their best to make you feel welcome and comfortable. This school is also located in the heart of Downtown Crossing, which made it super convenient and was among the most reasonably priced options out there (including the Centers for Adult Ed.). At first I was apprehensive to start with classes, as this is more of an "exchange", as the name implies, and has a fairly informal office space setting. However, my worries were immediately set aside when I met Bill and my teacher, Elaine. From day one I felt confident that I was in good hands. She was always engaged and focused with myself and other students, catering to the varying experience levels in my class so as not to leave anyone behind or bore anyone. While the curriculum is set by the course level, she kept the class fresh and was consistently challenging us with homework and in-class conversation sessions. I also took a few make-ups with another teacher, Ricardo, who had his own style of teaching but was equally engaged and concerned with his students' progress. Overall, I feel I gained a lot from my time so far (~14 weeks), going from someone with a very basic comprehension level and non-existent speaking skill, to a much more confident and capable reader, listener and speaker. While I still have a long ways to go, I am happy in particular with the confidence Bill and his team have built in my abilities!

Lack of communication was a major issue, my child was moved around among different counselors several times and none were well informed about his portfolio. Very discouraging throughout the application process, made my child doubt his ability to apply to top schools-- we went against their advice and he ended up being accepted to many. Not sure why the reviews here are so good, the ones on Reddit are much more honest. Save your money and do a google search instead, you can get the same and more information online for free.

I am a 52 year old father of three daughters. My oldest will be attending college in the fall. I…read morewas raised in Massachusetts and my father was self employed his whole life. So when I announced to him that I would be going to college, his reply was "with what, I'm not paying for it". I was a good student and got accepted to Cornell, UNLV, FIU, Johnson & Wales and The Culinary Institute. Without his help I attended a community college for my first two years of school. Then I transferred to Florida International University in Miami, which I never saw until the day I showed up for orientation. Both my parents never got a chance to attend a college and I worked full time through all four years of college. Not much of a college experience for me. So for my age group things have changed, touring campus's, SAT prep, ACT prep, Financial aid, essays, thank you letters to school visited, choice, choice and more choices, Etc. This is all a foreign language to me and having a daughter that lives in the NOW and with so many choices and decisions to make. I just can't tell you how much of an asset it is to have Larry Dannenberg coach my daughter and myself about this whole process. I know from personal experience that Larry also handles many other high school students in and around our town of Southborough and that is how he came highly recommended to us. All my daughters will use College Solutions because the rules for admissions change as do our kids from year to year. We started in my daughters sophomore year getting her ready all with Larry's help. This was something I just don't have time for as my wife and I are both self employed just like both sets of our parents were. HSA tutoring is a fraudulent service…read more Dont be blindsided by how they market themselves on the website as being top tier Harvard students or the fact they only employ the best for tutoring. which is a lie they employ any homeless person and brand them as high achieving Harvard students. The reality is they employ individuals who don't care about tutoring. An even less about you as the client. All the agency is interested in taking money from clients. I failed my assignment after taking up a tutoring service with HSA. Yes you heard right failed. Yet they claim they are Harvard rising stars. I was assigned a tutor a month before my assignment was due which was very reasonable. however, the tutor they assigned me didnt respond to my emails for weeks and only contacted me couple of days before my assignment was due to fit me in at 8pm at night. What a complete joke of a service !!! Honestly HSA is a con, stay well away from this place, other wise you will be deceived. Take your kid to a reliable tutoring service !

She worked with three different tutors throughout the package, Christine, Daniela, and Iman. They were all great and very communicative in terms of scheduling, and so was the HSA coordinator team. Did an outstanding job of listening to all feedback and making any needed adjustments, and the one time an online session was required due to scheduling, everything went super smoothly. Iman especially is outstanding! Our daughter made great strides working with her, getting through tons of material, honing testing skills, and building the kind of confidence that can really make or break the big day. She's amazing at giving day and week of prep advice above and beyond pen and paper. Thanks for all your hard work, HSA Tutoring!
