First off I want to thank all the friendly and amazing crew of Unlock the Con. I don't get out and around as much as I used to in the past. I had thyroid cancer 5 yrs ago and so had it removed. Had to go through 2 yrs of radiation and chemo. Since then, I've become unable to walk far so depend on a wheelchair or for more freedom, my electric scooter. My guy and I have loved the Cons for years and when we heard of this new place called Unlock the Con in Auburn that hosted "mini cons" we were intrigued . We decided to load my scooter and see what it was all about. I have to say, the moment I rolled into the store I felt welcomed. Chris is the first person in there we met. He told me not to worry about rolling around in my scooter. If I wanted to get to a place that was a bit blocked off, he was right there to shuffle things around so I had easy access . I totally enjoyed shopping there and even when they moved to the new location, Ashley, Barry and Chris and the others have been awesome. Now to the cons... Every one we have been to there has been great. They go out of their way to make sure the physically challenged have easy access to everything. Barry was the "host" of the recent one on Oct.28th He was so sweet. They had free posters they gave away to have signed by the actors if you wished. I had already went through the line before I picked up my free one. I asked if I could go back in line again but they escorted me right back to the person and I just waited for the people already there to finish up and while I waited Barry kept me entertained . LOL He took a couple of great selfies with him. Then when I got to the guest, he made sure I got a good selfie with them. So very helpful in every way. We left that day with smiles on our faces. Long story short people, go see this place and buy their merchandise, attend their Cons and have a great time. They are a great group of people! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE Imagine a mini convention in a mall. That's the best part about this place. All the workers are amazing people and incredibly nice! Owners Barry and Ashley take the time to get to know their regulars and greet you with a smile even putting in the effort just to remember me and my friends names. I see Chris a majority of the time I go in and he's always so welcoming and loves to ask me about my newest funko finds. Plus the celebrity signings are always so much fun! You get the convention experience at a the convenience of a mall. Not to mention the in house Chef Arthur with the food truck is always smiling and goofy with everyone! This is the place to go If you want a hunky shopping experience with other funko fans! Everyone there is always welcoming and loves helping you find what you need. Even if they don't have it on hand they're always very informative on when they get new things in or even helpful in sending you to friends like unclefunko and funkosaurus if they don't have what you need. The community here is just top tier and it's always all love the second you walk in that door. From pops to posters to celebrity signings, live streams and a bite to eat. They have it all read more

I have been going to Unlock the Con since it opened its doors. I have to say the staff is AMAZING! They are always friendly....eager to help and they have gotten to know me by name which is rare these days. The guests they have had are wonderful....from power rangers to the stunt man of Darth Vader. They have always encouraged cosplay and never made anyone feel they were out of place by dressing up. They make you feel like you belong. Always ready to listen to suggestions and ideas for future guests. The art prints they have there are again....AMAZING. One thing that makes them stand out is their willingness to help the physically challenged. I have seen people in wheelchairs or scooters or even using a cane. The staff goes out of their way to help these people get around and have a great experience. I am glad they have the food truck in their store now also. I've lived in the Pacific Northwest for quite awhile but didn't attend Cons regularly until I became a voice actor in 2017. I'm a bit uncomfortable in the con setup because there are so many people and the costs are always elevated etc. The first time I heard about Unlock the Con, was this past year when my mentor Steve Blum came to town. This event offers a Con experience but far more intimate, better costs and an experience that fans will never forget. I've been to 4 Unlock the Con events since that 1st one and each event got better and better. Barry and the staff is always so kind to me and they offer a VIP experience that is second to none. I will continue attending these events as long as Unlock the Con keeps having them, and I look forward to being a guest one day and experiencing these types of experiences with my fans. 10 out of 10 highly reccomend! read more

The staff is always incredibly pleasant to talk too. The place carries a spectacular selection of all things collectable for a fair value. It's just an incredible experience always going here and if you're into anything I am sure they have something for you. Equally the new food truck in there is incredible and operated by amazing people. This place is always an experience and always a great experience. Side comment: yes they wont give you market value for your trade in because they have to then resell it. Welcome to business 101: making a profit. This store single-handedly gets me to go to the mall. Not only do they have a large, amazing selection of collectibles like Funko Pops, they host multiple events every year allowing fans the opportunity to meet some of their favorite movie and TV actors, voice actors, animators and athletes. The owners, Barry and Ashley, are awesome and their customer service can't be beat. They've taken a weekend pop-up and turned into a thriving business that is welcoming to all. Customer service is outstanding, selections are huge of all sorts of product lines, lots and lots of inventory choices. I have sold and bought, I've never not found something super cool to buy and have been happy every time. There is no other store like it with variety, organization and in stock merchandise in our area besides Funko HQ. Absolutely amazing place. Been coming here since the end of August 2021 and have had nothing but great experiences. Without them I wouldn't have been able to connect with any of the people I have. I love this store. I don't always find something to buy but there is always a lot to see in there. One day in particular an employee heard me telling a friend I wanted a mini Funko pop but the only way to get it was to buy the mystery pop so I was going to pass. He asked me which one I was looking for, found it in behind the counter and let me buy it instead of risking buying the mystery pack. It made my day. read more

Recently visited for an autograph signing for my son. The staff couldn't have been nicer. They were very helpful, and genuinely into getting to know more about what I was looking for and what they could do to help. Been shopping here for a couple years now. Can't beat the friendly staff. An awesome mystery box selections. Prices on some pops can sometimes be on the higher end, so definitely check PPG before you purchase. In the end, the prices even out with what you have to pay to get some things shipped to you. read more
