Dr. James came in for the exam and was equally as gentle. After his exam he let our toddler play with the office toys while he discussed findings and overall care education about toddler teeth. Then, 6 months (still 2017) I tried to schedule the 6 month check up and clean and found Dr. Wu was only open very select days and hours that were really difficult to match what I needed. I ended up going with a different dentist but nothing against Dr. Wu. 1 year later (2018) I got a phone call from the office that said my billing wasn't right. Now, I'm dealing with a language barrier and a new staff barrier and told them to just have the appropriate person call me. Phone tag for a week and the staff ended up asking me for my insurance information since I have changed insurance companies a year ago and asking for my old insurance information. Maybe I'm not the most responsible but I gave their business my old insurance information when I registered so I expect them to have it. Why are they asking me for my new insurance information when I never used it with them? So, no more phone tag and no more information from them, no more returned calls because I can't find my old insurance information since I haven't been with them since 2017. 1 more year later (2019) this office sent my husband to collections for $440.40. WTF?? REALLY?? TWO YEARS LATER when I provided them my PPO insurance and paid everything they wanted me to pay on the spot? Is it my fault they lost my insurance information? And why are they going after my husband and not me when they have been dealing with me? They need to figure out what they are doing before they send people to collections.

I certainly don't remember feeling that way as a child, and I think that says a lot about the caring and welcoming environment she has created. I also can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lankford, who has been my dentist. Years ago, I suffered an injury that fractured my front tooth and damaged several lower teeth. Eventually, the root of the crowned front tooth became infected and could not be saved. Dr. Lankford guided me through every step of the process, referred me to an outstanding oral surgeon for my implant, and later restored it with a beautiful, high-quality crown. Throughout the entire experience, he was compassionate, supportive, and always available to answer my questions. The final result looks and feels amazing, and I couldn't be happier. His skill, honesty, and attention to detail are exceptional. Both Dr. Harpavat and Dr. Lankford are dentists I trust completely. They are knowledgeable, ethical, conservative in the best way, and genuinely care about their patients. Even though we now live in Sienna, it's absolutely worth the drive to continue seeing them. I recently had a crown pop off and went to another dentist out of travel convenience and it was a nightmare that Dr. Lankford had to fix. The other doctor was going to place a crown over an old filling and decays, but luckily their permanent crown broke upon seating and I was able to see Dr. Lankford for a second opinion. The nitrous was 1/3 of the cost of the other office I went to and my crown was extremely reasonably priced. I was comfortable the entire time and my coworker I referred here also relayed to me she's never felt so comfortable and at ease at a dentist. I will never see another dentist as long as I live in the Houston area.
